TrainPetDog

We have been reading as much as possible about training before getting a Basenji. Some of the introductions we felt were a little tedious, but, on progressing more deeply, we find the course to be extremely informative and valuable. We shall now approach more confidently, the training of our dog.

I found the training information reasonably beneficial. I found it hard to keep going as I didn't have the time to look at all the videos and the information tended to be a little difficult to follow without the videos or additional links that were supplied.

So far the training tips have helped a lot, I did print out the grooming book and the day 1~ 2~ and three training tips. I just hope that you have a training tip for riding in the car w/o using a crate

The last 3 days I've read and learnt things that explains dutches behaviour, for instance he's clingyness/biting etc. there are things I need to work on in order to train him in a way that caters and works best for him. So far so good, learnt heaps already as it's my first time owning a GSP.

Thank you so much for your training course. I've learned so much just with the intro video and your first two lessons so far. I thought I was pretty knowledgeable about my dogs until now. I can't express how excited I am about how much I've learned about Poms. I'm so glad I found you and your help so far. Thank you.

Nala is different then any dog ive ever had. She is loving and playful, but training her is different then other breeds. The information I have recieved TrainPetDog has been a great resource. We've came a long way in just a few days.

We really want to start our new puppy off right and we want her and our two-year-old to start of right and have a wonderful life together, so all the information you gave us will allow that to happen.

We implemented your advice on jumping yesterday. My 5 year old daughter likes to play "chase" with Nala and when she is caught Nala jumps and nips. I explained your trick to my daughter and it worked the very first time she tried it which was a reward for my daughter to see that our training works. Now when I try to explain training to my daughter she is very responsive.
