I have started training, but Rusty still has many problems. I am still working with him.
I am learning to be patient. I have restricted him to a certain part of the house and reduced the number of of pee pads to 2.
I am so relieved to have found someone who can help me with my overly reactive to the point of aggressive dog!
This is a wonderful service. I truly enjoyed talking with Sally. She had wonderful ideas and stories!
Paid for the program and even though I have a username and password, I can't access anything. There's no links to click. There's nothing under the module except an introduction and a link to read about WordPress.
We didn't connect last week because I thought PM was AM, but Sally was kind enough to send me some info by email. I signed up again this week and we had a nice chat and she gave me tips on several things for my Golden Retriever.
I liked the ideas that I was given tonight - easy to do and sounded like they will work.
Sally had such good advice two weeks ago I signed up to talk to her again. I found out I wasn't getting the right results because i wasn't doing things right!
Thank you, thank you. This was so informative and helpful. Lots of good ideas.
Talking with a trainer was a big help. We thought maybe we were just too old to train a puppy! Sally helped us understand that leash training is important to potty training and she gave us ideas as to what was happening and how hard it is to potty train in the winter.
We just got our Pembroke Welsh Corgi on 2-22-25 and suffice it to say, his former family did not lie when they said they had no time to spend with him. He's jumpy, chews on everything, barks, not house trained, and nips when he wants to play. Well, in just 4 days, we have him alot more house trained, seeing my husband as alpha, and being much quieter. So, even though we named him after an Old West criminal, he's acting better and better!
I was surprised at how many resources Emily offered. She answered all my questions and made excellent suggestions.
Everything makes so much sense, but I had not thought about a back pull harness being permission to pull (like pulling a sled) versus a front-pull harness that puts me in charge.
I have talked to Emily in the past and gotten many good ideas, but talked to Sally tonight and she was quite helpful. I'm glad the trainers have so many good ideas to try.
We got Duke at 8 weeks old. He initially managed very well to go on the disposal pads. About 10 weeks he started to go on the carpet and wood flooring, I was very concerned. I took to google to see why the change, this is when I came across your website. The emails and videos assisted us in getting a schedule for his eating times and potty breaks. He has improved drastically. We continue to follow the instructions and looking forward to Dukes continued progress. Thanks for your help!
I learned several things that I will try to see if they help with my newly adopted dog.
Lots of good info about working with siblings - so many things we had never considered!
I'm really concerned about my GSD's behavior as he appears to other people to be aggressive. Sally helped me understand that he needs more training before going back to the dog park.
It was informative. I don't know if I can follow all the instructions.
Excellent ideas. Am thinking about getting a second dog and had not thought of all the things i will need to do to help both dogs learn commands and learn to play and live together.
