Tradesy generally enjoys a positive reputation among customers, particularly for its user-friendly platform, quality product offerings, and effective communication throughout the buying process. Many users appreciate the variety and affordability of items, often highlighting the meticulous packaging and attention to detail. Tradesy offers straight deals, fare prices, smooth and fast transactions for buyers including excellent customer service and communication. However, it seems the cost to buyers has soared and these increases have not gone smoothly on the seller end: your customer base. Perhaps scaling the fee% related to sales price, even by setting several ranges, is really a good idea--consider the analogue of the minimum wage since Tradesy welcomes items of all prices; The increased volume should make up the increase in administrative costs. Just a thought.

Great prices! Great quality on merchandise!.
Quick responses from sellers. And updates on shipping.
Tradesy has the best customer service. I would rate their customer staff with 5 stars. I have had great service from Tradesy Staff!

Tradesy has more than doubled their fees since I originally posted items on their site. 9% vs 20%, in addition to requiring that shipping be included in the price, and their practice of constantly insisting that you lower the price is simply unfair. I've made as little as 60 cents on a like new item that originally sold for $20. List it at $10, and they begin the process of attempting to lower the price, but they never lower their fees. Something's wrong. If sellers stop posting, they have nothing. Even on more expensive items, 20% plus shipping costs quickly reduces profit for the seller. If I sell a $10 item, they collect $2, the lowest possible shipping price on the smallest of items is $3.50, so I earn $4.50 for the item for which I paid $20+. And they inist upon insurance, and dded $2. I intend to close my account. They are the only winners since they more often than not end up with more than the seller or buyer get for the transaction.
Ive ordered from Tradesy, about 4 times havent been disappointed yet! And my last purchase got to my house in 2 days by far the fastest delivery yet! Luv you Tradesy
I really like tradesy, but I do worry about the authenticity. Of the items Since items are ship from the sellers straight to the buyers... but. I have gotten some great designer bags.at least they look authentic anywsys
Just Fabulous# the process was so easy, I've bought tire for my car and now a birthday gift to myself!
I have the same opinion and rating for Tradesy as a seller. I start using Trasedy 02 years ago and they were very good at that time. After a year, they become worst and worst. They increase commission every year and also charge 2.9% as transaction fee to bank account. Starting this year 2018. They will hold the seller' earnings up to 21 days for security purpose. All are not true. Any buyer who read my complaints, please let everybody know when Tradesy take money from your account. I believe that they charge the buyer right away or within 04 days only for inspection. And then why Tradesy will continue keeping the sellers' earnings for 21 days when they got money from buyer.
I shop for most of my purchases on line since I live in a small town that does not have large department stores. I often find an item that I'm interested in purchasing but when shopping on line to Tradesy vs other sellers, pricing on Tradesy is 9 out of 10 times higher, and I often purchase elsewhere because I don't like the ide that I can't get a refund. I can only get Tradesy credit. So if I find an item for thousands of dollars? I don't want all my money sitting at Tradesy until I find something else to purchase. Thank could be months.
Tradesy is a complete scam for sellers! They charge a ridicules percentage for using their site, once you make a sale, they take for ever (a moth or more) to make your funds available; you literary have to e-mail them and call them about 20 times to ask for your funds - once you transfer your funds; you have to call them and email another 20 times to find out why your money is still not in your account.
They always have a lame excused to cover up for their BS!
TIP - Block your number before you call otherwise they never answer your calls.
Blue and like new! Thats what I like best! Will go great with denim! Perfect for CA!
Easy transaction with Affirm, too!
Worst experience ever as a seller! Using your earned money to make more money for themselves. It has been 26 days since my item was delivered to the customer on Tradesy and I still don't have a dime. You would figure a company that charges 19% commission would encourage more selling. IT DOES NOT!
I sold a Gucci bag in December and shipped the bag within 24 hours of the sale. It was delivered December 29th. At which point Tradesy put a hold on the funds because I was a new seller (I had sold another item prior with less frustration, which is why I decided to use them again). I could deal with a short hold - Two weeks later the funds were available on the 11th of January.
HERE is the main reason why I will never use Tradesy again (and you shouldn't either). They charge you another fee of 2.9% for what they call a "safe transfer fee" and then wait 7 Business days before they initiate the ACH transfer.
The money was mine on the 11th, even if it takes 3 days for ACH to my bank, which nowadays it does not. I should have had my money on the 15th.
Any company that holds your available earnings an additional 7 business days (so that they can earn interest on it, Im sure) is ripping it's sellers off!
If you don't mind paying high fees and waiting a month after the sale for your money, then go ahead and use them, but if your like me and want your money in a fair and timely manner looks elsewhere.
I used to be a fan of Tradesy but I will not ever sell with them again. I listed a brand new Louis Vuitton duffle bag and it sold in 2 days. The buyer was extremely happy and I even included the original receipt of purchase from the store. I had to wait well over 10 days to request to transfer the money ($1200) I made to my bank account. I waited the full 7 days for the money to post to my account and nothing came. I then called and spoke to a rep who informed me that the transfer was never processed. I must now wait an additional 2-3 days for my money to hit my bank account. I'm very disappointed with the service.
I am so mad I wont be selling on this site anymore. I sold an item the person was happy. 9 days and I am still waiting to be paid. Yet Tradesy got there money, I think they are taking advantage and getting all the interest then can in there bank account. I have called multiple times only for them to say its going through security checks. Yesterday I called and the lady said Ill get it fast tracked. You should get it by the end of the week. Thats not what it states on your site 3 to 7 days to be paid liars. I think they just took A shot to gain more money in there back account. They almost got $300.00 from my sale and its going to cost over $30.00 to transfer to my Pay Pal account. I am going to pull everything I have for sale on this scam site. Not happy at all with this company. So if I get my money by Friday it will be 11 days I waited. Really sick of this company and crappy service.
I bought a pair of shoes in November, paid for them and waited for delivery. In January I complained and asked for my shoes. Tradesy answer was: your shoes were delivered on December 6th. They never were. I was never given a credit or apologies or nothing.
Last summer I got Escada skirt, which suppose to be a size 8, the skirt arriving was a size 12. Of course no return, because I live in Canada.
Thank you for the beautiful bag! And wristlet Great communication and extremely fast shipping! B
I like listing items on Tradesy because the process is simple. I have sold a few handbags on the site and love doing so. The only thing you have to be patient about is receiving your cash once your listing sells. Other than that it's easy peasy!
Tradesy does all the hard work for me. I feel confident anything I buy is authentic and described as shown. I can have any high end designer item at my fingertips and at my door within days. I can't think of a better way to shop! Even my personal shopper at the mall can't do that!
When shopping on Tradesy I always find good deals. I like the fact that I'm able to contact the sellers if need be which always gives great customer service. Even when I contact Tradesy on my first time shopping they also took the time to help. Really like this website.
Answer: Don't Do It! It takes at least 10 days to get paid. They prefer people that they can control. When you become successful, they will make upp a reason to suspend your account. TRADESY sell fakes, the owner is the closet owner of PENNY LANE It has been proven time and time again she sells Fakes. If you question TRADESY, they will shut your account down, and they do so WITHOUT even talking to you. Bunch of Bullies! Find an alternative. I AM IN THE MIST OF COMMENCING CLASS SUIT ACTION. THEY NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON!
Answer: They advertise a strict selling policy of authentic and accurate descriptions for listing. If by chance an item received is questionable, they have a review process to protect the buyer unlike many other sites out there.
Answer: It says that everything is guaranteed authentic but you have to know your stuff to know if it is authentic. Tradesy people don't see the items unless it is sold and the buyer complains about authenticity. So if you put your trust on tradesy, you are 100% WRONG and will get scammed.
Answer: Yep. Tradesy are infamous for holding your money! They will also refund a sale without any communication with the seller, they don't even tell you why. Tradesy hooked up with Authenticate First, these people don't know what they are doing. Well the messed up big time with my bag, see it was authenticated by a very reputable company. I have ALL my bags authenticated BEFORE I list for sale and of course have the documentation to prove it. The bag was in perfect shape. Tradesy are ignorant, unprofessional and teamed up with a company (authenticate first) who have their heads where the sun don't shine. Tradesy are totally so unprofessional they have not bothered to send me an email even notifying me of the refund, I only found out when I checked on the sales delivery date to find a little sentence that says "refunded". No explanation why, nor when I can expect my property back. Punks! I am still waiting to receive my bag back. I have read on other sites that Tradesy keep the returns and seller is SOL. One seller was screwed out of 2,500 and never received her property back. Tradesy are shady. Another seller has started a class uit action. It's about time Tradesy were taught a lesson and realized that they have no right to keep sellers property. Apparently they resell the items on another site. The person who started the class usit actin has proof of same. Ironically, although some were refunded allegedly for item being fake, they resell and state that it is authentic. I have removed all my items from this shady scam company. I hope the class suit action closes this scam company down!
Answer: Don't ever do business with Tradesy ever! Learned my lesson. Bought a Chanel bag that doesn't look like anything they showed. I took some pictures of what I received vs. what they showed on their listing. They still ignorantly argued that those are the same item. They refused to refund me back the money. I finally disputed it with the credit card company. Tradesy almost ripped me off of my $1,600
Answer: I do not shop with tradesy any longer. FAKE prada duffle bag and im done.
Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Best of luck to you!
Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.
