Their fees are outrageous - 22% selling fees and not only that you have to wait up to 30 days to have the money released so you can withdraw it into your checking (so you think) but then once you withdraw it, it takes another 10 days for it to get posted into your checking account - that is absolutely ridiculous and a terrible way to run a business - I will never do business on this horrible site ever again and you all should stay away as well - can't understand how they are still in business!
I was very excited about my purchase. However it would've been nice to know it was coming from Belgium and would take a month to receive.if I had known, it would've been a factor in me purchasing. I give it 4 stars because that's important information to know beforehand. Otherwise item is PERFECT.
Easy to use the website. Price is good for the product. Received prompt order confirmation and several shipping updates. It was shipped and received very quickly. The product I received was exactly as shown and in perfect condition. Thankfully, I'm pleased with the product and fit, so I can't verify their return/exchange policy. Be aware that there are no refunds, only credit for other items on their website. Other than that, I'm happy with this website and my purchase.
A true rip off and so much hassle once u buy an items that is not right. They claim u get money back but that's 1 in a 100. The other 99 is site credit and u stock. Save the hassle and buy direct plz plz plz don't think u saving money buying from them... description states worn ONLY twice and this is what u get at 595$ when the brand new item is 695
I was looking forward to receiving my purchase because it was advertised as "New with Tags"; however, there were no tags, no original packaging... not even inside my item, and a label was tapped to the inner packaging box... as if contents shipped were also not in original box/packaging. As a result, I'm unsure whether this item is new or used— dissatisfied!
Do not buy or sell from Tradesy. I sell in a couple of app and tradesy is robbing sellers and buyers. How can they charge 10.50 for shipping. I sell a pair of pants where they actually made more money than me on the sale. They take the commission, whole your money 21 days and in top of that if you don't want store credit you have to pay them a fee to withdraw your money. I sell in other apps and my money is available right away and buyers don't pay that much for shipping. Thieves.
I sold many items on Tradesy FR years and everything was smooth. The past 3 sales I had were returned to me because they claim they were above fair market value. When I ask them what the fair market value for the item is they reply they are unable to determine because it's a combination of factors. If they are not able to determine the value of the item they return it too. However, the item I sold is still for sale so how can't they determine the value. Really? Their guidelines are so broad- it is just a trap so they can keep returning items to Sellers and not get stuck with inventory- YET force buyer to now spend the credit they issued on Tradesy. So what they are really doing is:
1. You list the item within the price range they recommend
2. Item sells
3. Buyer doesn't like the item so they return it for a credit on Tradesy
4. Tradesy returns the item to you and takes the earnings back
5. Buyer is stuck with a credit they must spend on Tradesy
SCAM.
The jacket is in fine condition but is not a size small or size 4 as stated but instead a size medium. It's not acceptable to mistake information especially sizing and then have a non returnable policy too. This is the first time I've ever had this happen on any site.
I needed it for a trip so I shrunk it myself.
This is my second order, when my first didn't fit, they gave me credit even though they said it was not returnable but it was a one time thing. So I ordered a completely different item in a larger size and it was even smaller than first item. Your used item sizes are WAY OFF! I'm done ordering items from this company!

This is the second time I've purchased a brand name bag from this site and I was not disappointed. I love my new bag and it came tagged. For new users, I suggest buying from a seller who has a lot of sales and followers. That way you know there's some kind of credibility prior to purchase.
This site is allowing sales of products altered, and in very poor condition and the damage is not shown in all pictures or even mentioned under product detail information. As a matter of fact ALL of their items state the same verbiage ( gently-used). In addition Tradesy itself or Tradesy allows it's sellers to markup items listed than tell customers "WELL" the item is on sale at 67% off retail. Than once you purchase an item even under false advertising conditions Tradesy does not refund your money they only offer credit so you can purchase something else falsely represented.
I was looking for a certain bag & had not been on Tradesy for awhile. I went there & found that bag, at a price I never dreamed of. The greatest part? I had a site credit that I completely forgot about & was so thrilled to find this at a time when I truly needed a break! Tradesy really does give many wonderful opportunities to get authentic pieces as well as smashing offers & giveaways! Highly recommend this site as a trustworthy place to shop and one that is very accountable where they follow through to make sure "all is well"!
I have used Tradesy to sell gently used items for the past few years. The items that I sold tended to be typical mall brands. They implemented new policies no longer allowing you to sell items under $10 and upping their commision on any item under $50 to be $7.50. Allowing you to keep your previously listed items under $10 posted without the $7.50. They raised their commision again, and at that time made it to were if you viewed or edited your $10 and under postings the $7.50 would be taken out. On some items this would end up, if the item sold, you would essentially owe Tradesy money. They have tried to push out good sellers, but ones that did not exclusively sell super pricey items. It is unfortunate as it is one of the easiest selling platforms to navigate. I guess the good platforms are reserved for the lucky ones that can afford the high end items.
What I've found out about Tradesy is not only do they hold your money for 21 days to protect the buyer... not the seller, but then it's another 7 days to get the money they're holding transferred to your bank account! What the hell is that! You get all of these notices to ship within 10 days of the sale but I have to wait 30 days for my money for my item? This is bull$#*!! I'm sorry there isn't a better word. I'll never sell or buy through Tradesy again!
Generally very happy to have found these sandals at a more reasonable price but though they said new with tags, there is a weird black mark on the front of both sandals. I have sent the store a message without a response.
The seller adequately fulfilled my order. However, the delivery experience was very poor. The order was placed mid June and did not arrive until yesterday, July 6. It is reasonable to have received an accurate update from the delivery service provider. Unfortunately, the tracking notes stated a delivery date of June 18. While this is not the direct fault on anyone other than the delivery service, it does not represent the full brand experience of a luxury brand such as Tradesy.

Ebay is ok but using it gives me a headache, it's so ugly and full of scams and people writing IN ALL CAPS. I like how streamlined Tradesy has made uploading images and filling out a listing. I like how you don't have to "interact" to make a sale. I also don't mind the wait time to get money, which has been an issue for many; however, I'm just trying to clean my closets and make some money, not make a living from this! I suspect it is not the cheapest option out there, but in terms of ease of use -- I'm sold.
Purchased what I thought was a used pair of sunglasses, I was AMAZED when I opened the box and found everything was brand new from the glasses case to the cleaning cloth. The sunglasses were out of this world beautiful! I am so very happy with my purchase and I will be doing way more business with them in the future. Sold estate diamond and garnet earrings on Tradesy. Buyer kept them 3 weeks then on last day to return them due to more wear than! I stated they were used from estate and price reflected that fact. They were 1/3 price of new.
They wee professionally cleaned when sent and came back obviously worn.
Answer: Don't Do It! It takes at least 10 days to get paid. They prefer people that they can control. When you become successful, they will make upp a reason to suspend your account. TRADESY sell fakes, the owner is the closet owner of PENNY LANE It has been proven time and time again she sells Fakes. If you question TRADESY, they will shut your account down, and they do so WITHOUT even talking to you. Bunch of Bullies! Find an alternative. I AM IN THE MIST OF COMMENCING CLASS SUIT ACTION. Answer: They advertise a strict selling policy of authentic and accurate descriptions for listing. If by chance an item received is questionable, they have a review process to protect the buyer unlike many other sites out there.
Answer: It says that everything is guaranteed authentic but you have to know your stuff to know if it is authentic. Tradesy people don't see the items unless it is sold and the buyer complains about authenticity. So if you put your trust on tradesy, you are 100% WRONG and will get scammed.
Answer: Yep. Tradesy are infamous for holding your money! They will also refund a sale without any communication with the seller, they don't even tell you why. Tradesy hooked up with Authenticate First, these people don't know what they are doing. Well the messed up big time with my bag, see it was authenticated by a very reputable company. I have ALL my bags authenticated BEFORE I list for sale and of course have the documentation to prove it. The bag was in perfect shape. Tradesy are ignorant, unprofessional and teamed up with a company (authenticate first) who have their heads where the sun don't shine. Tradesy are totally so unprofessional they have not bothered to send me an email even notifying me of the refund, I only found out when I checked on the sales delivery date to find a little sentence that says "refunded". No explanation why, nor when I can expect my property back. Punks! I am still waiting to receive my bag back. I have read on other sites that Tradesy keep the returns and seller is SOL. One seller was screwed out of 2,500 and never received her property back. Tradesy are shady. Another seller has started a class uit action. It's about time Tradesy were taught a lesson and realized that they have no right to keep sellers property. Apparently they resell the items on another site. The person who started the class usit actin has proof of same. Ironically, although some were refunded allegedly for item being fake, they resell and state that it is authentic. I have removed all my items from this shady scam company. I hope the class suit action closes this scam company down!

I took some pictures of what I received vs. what they showed on their listing. They still ignorantly argued that those are the same item. They refused to refund me back the money. Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.
