Initially ordered a juvenile Western Painted turtle; I contacted customer service 9 days after I placed the order because it hadn't shipped yet. I was told juvenile Western Painted turtles were out of stock. That should have been posted on the website before I placed the order. I was offered a baby Eastern Painted turtle which I accepted. I got it 2 days later. It went right into the water after waking up from it's journey and is doing fine after 4 days.
We were fortunate enough to find Tortoise Town! We were able to get a wonderful baby turtle to the family. We were a little nervous since we hadn't done this before. Everything went so smooth and our little turtle is flourishing. The folks here are so nice and we couldn't be happier. They get mixed up with another group for reviews sometimes, but this is really a great group of folks. We will be happy to use them again if we decide to expand. It's been almost a month and I'm thrilled to say things are great with our turtle.
Our red footed tortoise is gorgeous we absolutely love her. Customer service was amazing! I had an issue where I had to switch my delivery address and when I emailed them I got a reply within minutes and they fixed my problem so fast. I highly recommend this site and have shared it with a few friends who were looking for their own tortoise.
She is beautiful and healthy! I was a little worried about the tortoise, because this was my first time ordering online, but everything was perfect and my little girl as well :)
The ordering process was simple and the delivery was super quick. My only concern is the hatchling appears to have a slightly deformed shell, but other than that appears healthy and active.

My little friend arrived alert and ready to investigate its new environs. A joy to behold
Upon delivery the tortoise had a crack in shell and shell rot. We had a vet exam to confirm what we suspected. Also we requested a male and we received a female (also confirmed by the vet). I reached out via email the day the tortoise arrived asking about the shell and did not get a response. Needless to say we are VERY disappointed and not satisfied at all.
Believe the negative reviews I have a nice dead musk turtle. Scum. I'm not even going to attempt to get my money back from these pieces of garbage.

I placed my order for a leopard cb baby tortoise on Wednesday and she arrived Thursday afternoon.
I would suggest to anyone that gets a tortoise to have everything ready for their arrival and to know how to take care of them. Henrietta did not eat the hay and grass I had cut for her, she did however devour the kale and romaine. There was no instruction sheet with my order.
Biologist was able to tell me how old my other was and found one while a little bit bigger compatible. Arrived safe and sound.

Great all around! Easy to talk to, get good feedback. Also learn about the care the tortoises are getting. They helped with directions to since I had a hard time finding them but we're super great to talk to you. Plan to keep in touch with them and then several weeks.
