Filled with errors - seriously looked like an 8th grader wrote it. So many spelling and grammatical errors, incomplete sentences, and more. Never got a final revised copy, never updated my LinkedIn as promised. I shouldn't have to correct or point out all of the errors. I got the Executive package which is supposed to be a top 10% writer - if it was this bad from their best I wonder about the rest.
My experience was top-notch, I am very pleased with the improvements made to highlight my experience and polish my resume, cover letter and LinkedIn resources.
The process was smooth and my representative was easy to work with.

I had this company write my resume the first time it wasn't good, sent it back to have it rewritten and it still did me no good. I reached out to then in regards to the resume they wrote for me and i have yet to hear back. So i run the resume that i had them do for me through their system and this is what i got back(see my attachment below). This service is way over priced and a scam.
I really wish I had investigated this company before I spent almost $400 to receive an expedited copy of a new resume, as well as the compilation of my Facebook profile and access to post my resume on over 70 job sites. I received the first draft late, it was full of grammatical errors, did not highlight my 20 plus years of experience, I was identified as an executive... I am getting upset talking about the lousy service. I hope no one else gets suckered into their scam! My next step is to file a report with the BBB.
The review and revision experience was excellent. As I consider various positions and submit the final resume, I have found a need to create two versions. My background is complex and my interests are several. One resume doesn't really work for me. However, the resume provided has allowed me to create the two versions I needall with relatively little effort. I have yet to receive a call but it has only been about 10 days. I am feeling confident based on my review of the provided resume version; it is obviously better than what I was using prior to working with TopResume.
TopResume recently took my wordy, clumsy resume (which I had thought was pretty good!), critiqued it and rewrote it as an awesome, professional document. I am now really proud to load it onto my job searches, and already have a casual position. Previous applications hadn't got me anywhere. This is an excellent service to use and their product is worth every penny.
I was kind of scared to use TopResume at first because a resume is almost do or die with submitting online applications. I bought the plan where I got a cover letter and a resume. Kailyn was so great and SUPER quick about getting my first draft back to me. My resume only needed minor tweaks from the first draft. I would not hesitate to recommend TopResume to anyone! It is well worth the cost!
My personal TopResume professional was Jon. He was nothing but complete honesty, professionalism, and perfection. If I thought something looked a little off, he either pointed out the formatting, or he made sure it was corrected within the very next revision. However, on that same note, there were VERY few things that needed to even BE revised on the FIRST revision of my professionally created resume. It was perfect! And now I have something to go by in my new career field. Not only did he create the best resume, he took all of that information and plugged it into a word document and it showed me how to create the perfect linkedin profile as well! Plus, the cover letter and the thank you letter are amazing as well.

I was assigned to a resume writer who has over 30 years of experience in the industry and I was thoroughly impressed when my resume went down to 2 pages from it being a little over 5 pages long. Op Resume is a total scam. An absolute ripoff. They take an extremely long time to deliver anything and what they deliver are the most generic, poor quality and inaccurate materials. They don't properly respond to feedback or complaints; won't issue refunds; and do not deliver what they promised. Stay away from them.
I paid for the expedited professional package, which was supposed to have a 2-3 day turnaround time. It ended up being closer to a week and a half, the LinkedIn portion (which I had highlighted as the most important aspect) was an after thought, and they tried to overcharge me.
The resume had some nice keywords but wouldn't make sense to anyone reading it from my industry and will have to largely be rewritten.
Very disappointing experience when so many people could benefit from the promised results in a Covid-19 economy. Avoid!
I rated Top Resume 5 out of 5 because the service was outstanding. My writer Jamie was amazing and took the time to read thru the material I sent which included job descriptions as well as my past experience and achievements. I was sent a first draft which is great and we made some minor adjustments for the final draft. I also ordered a cover letter which I feel is a great bonus. The pricing is great compared to other companies who charge double or triple for the same service. I would highly recommend their service to everyone.
As it has been decades since I needed a resume, I choose TopResume to handle my make-over.
