I have used TopResume twice now to keep my resume updated. I found their resume writers are prompt, efficient, and professional. I have been very happy with my results and I am getting more interviews because of my resume.
Great Service. My resume and cover letter really needed to be updated. And TopResume was everything that I needed. I loved my writer. She listened to my concerns and needs. Now my resume gives me the confidence that I need to go out there and start applying for jobs.
After completing online questionnaire, there was no response for a week until i emailed them. Their response was they would find some one to write my resume based on Q/A from the writer. There were none. Something incomplete was sent to me. Then they asked for my old resume (10yr old resume), which i sent to them and none of my previous experience made into the second resume draft. The second draft ad many lines in blue where i ad to fill in my current info and work experience. Just like a Word resume template. Deceiving. Very unsatisfied.

Generally, we avoid putting experience older than 15 years on your new resume, which might explain why some of your previous experience didn't make it into the second draft. However, if you prefer to showcase everything, please let the writer know.
Very responsive and great work. I sent in my information, they contacted me the next day and I had results the following evening. Sent it back with a couple of changes and feedback. They had it back to me in the afternoon completed. Excellent investment! I highly recommend them.
I was applying for jobs for months, but there was no phone call for job interview at all ( I guess I did a bad job on writing resume myself). I decided to asked for help from TopResume. Georgi was my writer. He sent me the first draft with all the information I need, and asked if I need to add more additional information to the first draft. At that time, there were 2 positions opened at 2 major companies that I really like. I just used the first draft of the resume to apply for jobs because I did not have that much time to wait for the second draft. I got 2 phone calls from them for job interviews right after 4 days. Guess what? I got 2 job offers with great benefits from them. I wish I could work for both companies, but I only could choose one of them:-(. 2. You state that HR Certificate is my highest education, why? I have a MBA.
3. Why can't someone attend a college or university while working?

I got surprised, in a very good way, how first I got my resume analysed. I got a very professional and simple free critic. Then, by how simple and comprehensive a well prepared resume, easy to read entirely.
The only inconvenience is time, as one week is not enough to complete the review entirely. I got very busy and the week passed very quickly.
Last, but not least, I am still very satisfied with the final product, and would recommend investing in a professional assistance for a career boost.
I was hesitant at first as I felt it was expensive but I am very pleased with my cover letter and resume! I was very pleased with my finished product. There were a couple of delays in delivering within the expected time frame, but their customer service department was very pro-active and extremely helpful. In the end, the minor delay didn't affect the end product or my view of the service. Definitely would recommend the service.
This has been a really bad experience. I had to work according to imposed schedule that was completely inconvenient to my busy schedule. The draft versions were not up to my expectations and I was not given enough time to discuss changes. I was also not given useful tips or recommendations to make sure the final version actually meets my objectives. The writer always seemed to be in a hurry, providing quick responses that seemed only to have one objective: Just get the order closed.
I have opted for the most expensive option but I did not have time or proper discussions required for cover letter, resume, or LinkedIn profile. I believe the time given should be convenient to the client not to the writer. The end result in my opinion is subpar and I would not recommend Topresume to anyone.
I started off doing my resume when I finished college for several reasons. Just finishing college was one and I felt I could. It work at that time, but as a professional it was not really professional. I like passing that responsibility over to a reliable company that could help and did. The hardest part was just saying yes and answering a few questions. I now have a fresh new resume and it looks and sounds professional.

I can't express enough how important it is to let someone who knows what hiring managers do or are looking for in a resume these days. Working with Top Resume was easy to work with and the timeline was flexible. I questioned some things about my self created resume I thought should be included in the new and was quickly educated as to why I should not and also as to what I should do. It makes sense to go to a professional and I would also recommend using their Linked-In service as well, it gives you a well rounded professional presents which gives you an edge over another's to land the job you're looking for.
I submitted mine resume to lot of requests for interviews. Top Resume promised they could do a better job with more interview requests. I posted my resume and not receiving any responses. My resume had more leadership skills than the resume that Top Resume prepared and I think is the reason why I am not getting any responses.
This is my first time using Top Resume and I must say that my overall experience was great, although the contact with my writer was at first slow because my line of work is very particular (international attorney), they kept me posted at all times that the writer assigned to my particular line of work was busy and she would attend me as soon as possible.
Once my writer contacted me, she was polite, nice and knowledgeable of my line of work, she answered all my questions and she even amended my resume on the weekend, which was great.

I've been assigned 3 different writers and have received a subpar product back each time, written by someone who's first language is clearly not English. The best part, I paid $100+ for a "LinkedIn Rewrite" and this was where the writer copied and pasted their version of my resume into the boxes for LinkedIn. You've got to be kidding me... Don't waste your money!
