The experience was a good one in terms of service. I felt that the CV was very different in style than I had expected but I was excited to use it for my job hunt. Unfortunately I haven't had any feedback at all from any prospective employers. This may be that it clearly sets out why I don't need the criteria for any roles but I have a feeling it's now a little unfocused so am considering next steps.
I have purchased cv rewriting service for experienced career proffessional but I did not chose "the most expensive package" as my friend who recommended me the service. As a result I got a junior cv writer that:
1. Did no effort to understand what I do
2. Did not offer the call to clarify - just wrote copy paste responses to my negative feedback
3. Put in cv sentences that were not even in English and in some cases had nothing to do with my responsibilities.
I filed and complained and of course, it is being ignored. I am really not sure what else I can do as I lost money and got no reply to my cv apart from 1 automatic rejection and they seem to be happy copy-pasting messages in response to my email.
I do believe I got a junior person who has no clue about writing but this is a well-reviewed company and it would be nice if they actually had a customer service.
Avoid paying this scammers. Your will receive a template with bad structure & poor language. All their "professional" writers are freelancers. No communication with clients from their side at all. No refund. I have lost 99£ & more then three months trying to get a CV from them.
I was promised a formatted CV on three different occassions, every single one of those deadlines missed by the writer I was paired with. I have sent in complaints requesting my money is refunded, they simply just passed may case onto another writer and ignored my request! It has been several weeks and they just ignore requests. During the time they were meant to have provided me a CV I did it myself and have received a job offer off my own formatted CV. They do not help at all, there is no customer service so do not waste your money on a service where there is no recourse and they do not refund you even though they fail to deliver their committed service.

Phillip, my writer was really good, not only at using the right words and grammar, but at telling my story and ensuring a much better match between my experience, skills and personality. Also is the first time in many years that my CV fits on 2 pages! It is now short, concise and very accurate... same for the LinkedIn profile.
After getting a few interesting tips, I decided to go for the most premium package they have.
What I got back is a CV which is very badly conceptualized and executed.
Not even the the tips I received in the first review were integrated in the new version and the style which was used to describe my achievements was very bad - as if they pay the writers from Romania to write it.
Very meek reaction from customer service following my complaint. They do not care about providing a quality product and I already paid, so it is my problem.
It started with the delay in the initial draft and got worse from there. Inconsistent formatting, grammatical errors, no LinkedIn reference, several of the errors they initially identified from my original resume and no way to speak with them directly (they do not accept phone calls).
There are much better services out there.
Recommend you stay away from this company.

This is a scam. I did a better job doing my own cv. I am a process improvements expert and they changed my words to make me sound like a strategy expert.
My friend in HR said she would reject my CV if I send her this format, it's too chaotic and recruiter has to hunt for information which no recruiter has time for.
I was told I will have an expert on Swiss German market, she obviously did not have any idea. Her CV writing skills were not only terrible, but not even catered to the Swiss market.
I'm so angry and disappointed for wasting my money on this company.
If I could give a zero I would! I placed an order for a CV and cover letter on 14 July. The organization claims it will give at minimal a rough draft 7 days after. Two weeks later and I do not have a writer assigned. I've written customer support four times and have not been given an update, a response or a refund. $300 later and my job search is on hold. I'm starting to believe I've been scammed! My advise is spend the extra $150 on a more professional organization.

This is a copy paste inferior product. They won't refund me after the first draft. I have been robbed. These are cowboys that rip people off. They do not know what they are doing and need to be closed down. I am upset about it. They are not professional. $#*! product.
I really thought my resume was great! Oh how wrong I was. I now have a really professional looking, up to date CV that I am confident in sending to prospective employers. It is concise, correct & compact - just what is required as most employers only give a cursory glance at the CVs sent in. I now feel sure mine will warrant a further look!
Extremely pleased with the detail of the feedback given and advice on which areas require improvement. And this all for free! I'll rework my CV if still no joy then I'll consider paying for a re-write.
Good CV re-write effort. Six pages of 30 year history got condensed to 2 meaningful pages. The full service including the LinkedIn page re-write may not be worth it as the changes were seeming not as well thought out, and the delivery was a week past the commitment date. I recommend the lowest or second level service.
The initial response to my CV was addressed to one the companies worked for over years ago and mentioned on page 3 of my CV. Clearly a bot response scanned by some type of ATS software rather than a personalised piece of work. Not what I would expect. Follow-up requests remain unanswered to date.
I found that the service provided by CV Now was excellent. The style and formatting of my resume was first class. They gave it a very professional makeover.
The draft version was sent out promptly for approval, and the covering letter also gave me just what I needed to apply for jobs in the current market place.

It's a great service with professional writers. Thanks to a very friendly and pro writer, I am satisfied with the results. However, if you think you could do better, just go for it. I believe they writers know how to put more emphasis on your strength points and describe them in a pro way. As far as I am concerned, it's a great help if you could collaborate well with the writers towards building up the good CV. Also, in an age where computers do the job instead of HR, simply we have to make sure we could go through the computerized filters.
