The service is not up to any of the promises they advertised. The writing is poor, not consistent or coherent. It's clear they have no clue about the market I am working for, or even how to structure a cv properly. It's been over 10 days of the promised delivery and nothing. I want my money back.

-Format was horrible. All what I have been taught not to do, was in this CV: buzzwords, long summaries of 7+lines, unnecessary wording, not highlighting technical skills across my work experience.

Finally, the guy tries to pass the ATS and it completely failed relative to what I was asking for. I asked for a certain position tittle, the ATS highlighted all what I said I did not want to highlight. Plus no word of my skills.

Also the ATS experience did not add up to 100%, so I was missing some work experience. And no mention of my studies.

HORRIBLE!

I guess I had a very "smart" and lazy guy writing my CV and I hope TopCV solves this and compensates for the time lost in a correct manner.

This is getting even worse. I have been asking about this to their support team and I haven't got an update for 3 days.

As I investigated these guys have a bunch of people working from cheap countries (Vietnam.)..

Even though I was recommended based on a friends experience, I came into this relationship thinking I was going to be throwing my money away. After experiencing the back and forth with my writer over the course of the following week, my attitude slowly changed. No matter what question I was asking, he came back to me with thorough feedback, recommendations and an updated CV. I believe, from what I have as a final document, it was a worthwhile investment and I feel confident I am in a better position to market myself. Thanks A***!

Horrible service. Templates are incredibly basic and unoriginal. A lot of the content provided by 'professional' was incorrect. It did not feel like we worked together to achieve a specific goal, my writer just did what she had to do. A lot of the feedback I gave was not implemented. Specific experiences that I value omitted, even after repeatedly asking to leave it on my CV, corrections regarding experience were not applied even though my writer said she would. Super expensive for the service that you get, not at all recommended

This was the cruise control of online resume makeover. I have worked with other resume services and they seemed to have fallen short of what I was expecting. This is a scam. Don't be fooled by the free review like I was. It sounds promising, but what you end up with, is a horribly formatted dated template, filled with nonsensical, generic blurb. No effort is made to make the CV about you, it is just a mess of jargon. The questionnaire you complete will be ignored, my CV could be written for anyone. After weeks of complaining I got a second draft, this time by one of their more senior writers. This one was worse, with many spelling and grammatical errors.

I came to the service only with the pretense to build my curriculum. However, a few moments after I finished I received an incredible feedback with broad advices on how to improve the order of informations in my CV as well as present myself better.
One of the difficulties that web developers have seeking for job opportunities today is to show what they "makes". They are good as "doers" and with the feedback that TopCV offered me I was able to figure out this and see that I'm a "achiever".
All this for free. A outstanding experience. I totally recommend the service!

I recently got signed up for TopCV premium service offering of £219. After couple of day I got another email from them with new discounted offering of £25 to get thank you letter done professionally.

I was in tight spot, I though why not.

They took 7 days to come back. Cut story short - when I received the CV I was in shock to read the language and they also did a big mistake with dates of my employment history (they were not in any order).

I was not happy.

Upon requesting refund - they have stopped responding.

Now, I have no choice but to go to courts and my local bank.

Avoid these scammers if you looking to get CV reviewed.

Do not use TopCV. They give you the best writer for the review and then don't deliver - did not even read their own review when creating my CV. Did not read my supporting documents and they won't speak to you on the phone. Even basic grammar was wrong. I requested a refund and now can't get hold of them.

Very quick, fast service and communication was always there between myself and the person who took my order, all of my comments were taken on board and listened too.

I would highly recommended CV. Now to everyone who is looking to have a CV professionally written.

After receiving the first draft, there were a couple of areas that I disagreed with. After highlighting these the final result was a perfect portrayal of my skills, experience and myself as a person.

Very positive experience. The TopCV portal is a friendly easy tool, I liked it! My CV was undoubtedly improved, with a good and appropriate vocabulary.
Room for improvement: the dialogue with the person who writes your CV. Sometimes it seemed to be an automatic reply. And instead of accepting all suggestions for a change, the writer could say: no, let´s not do that because this will cause a red flag etc. I think the communication was an issue.
So, I felt I had freedom to suggest edits but I felt a bit unhappy in the end when I was told that the modifications would diminish the overall effectiveness of the CV.
But it is a service that I highly recommend.
