Perfection.
November 25, 2025

I ordered 50 eastern red cedar trees just before spring and planted them in southeastern az and only a couple of them died which was my fault because I planted them in very rocky un fertile soil. I did that to try and mimick what happened in the cedar of Lebanon state park in Tennessee but just because they're both rocky doesn't make them the same! The rest have lived through the very dry and hot summer which it was unusually dryer and hotter this year for being the high desert and compliments to tn nursery for sending me some very healthy trees to start out with. I'm now ordering 50 more fruit trees and with my permaculture setup they will do great on an east facing hill.

This is so awesome to hear. I would love to see pictures of them. If you could do a Google review, it will let you post pics of them. I love seeing our trees doing great in their new environment!

So far so good...
November 24, 2025

The plants are shipped bare root and dormant, so if you've never dealt with this before it can be a bit of a shock to open up the box and find what looks like dead sticks with roots. But I was expecting that (LOL) and I'm excited for spring. They came in Nov, so they are still dormant, but so far they're still alive as far as I can tell. I'll know more when they wake up in the spring.

The website is easy to use. Plants are well packed and arrive in good condition. The selection of plants allows me to grow plants not available in many varieties locally. I've never had a problem with any of the plants I've ordered.

Happy with my purchases
November 21, 2025

I have made a few purchases with TN Nursery and everything went well. My last order of 5 Milkweeds shipped later than expected so they gave me a few extra. That is great customer service. That is why I just ordered this Mulberry for next spring from them.

My first experience buying a plant from them was very positive. They communicated well through the ordering process, keeping me informed when shipment occurred with expected arrival date. Items were well packaged with simple planting instructions and solid advice on how to care for them after planting. After a year, plants are growing well!

Learning about bare roots
November 16, 2025

Shipping time and quality were great. The first time I ordered, I just didn't realize how long it would take the plants to establish. Worth the wait, though

DIdn't ship when suppose to
November 13, 2025

Ordered trees and was supposed to ship at a later date, in the fall. So much time went by i forgot and it was late November when I remembered. Ground was almost frozen after i reminded them and they shipped

Thank you for your feedback. We completely understand the concern about timing. Our nursery schedules fall shipments according to plant dormancy and weather patterns to ensure safe arrival and the best survival rate. If your ground wasn’t yet frozen, planting right away was perfectly fine — dormant trees actually establish roots better in cool soil. We do send shipping notifications before orders go out, but we’re happy to coordinate timing in the future if you need a later delivery window. Please reach out to help@tnnursery.net
so we can assist with any future orders.

Kiwi died
November 11, 2025

At first I waited for 2 months, then they sent me not a 3-4-foot tree, but 3-4 inches. They were both stunted for 3 months, I managed to support them, and then they just withered, I'm not sure, like the gpt chat, that it was kiwi. I planted the seeds myself, so they are powerful big leaves. Just $47 threw away nerves and time.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about your experience and want to help make this right. Our kiwi vines are shipped in a dormant state and may look small or bare when first received — this is completely normal for their growth stage and time of year. Once planted and properly cared for, they typically leaf out vigorously in spring. We encourage you to reach out to our team at help@tnnursery.net
with photos so we can review your order and assist under our guarantee policy. We truly value your business and want your next experience — including your pawpaw trees — to thrive beautifully.

Thank you for your feedback and for planting your trees so promptly! 🌳 Fall is actually the best time to plant bare-root trees, even if the roots appear smaller than expected. They’re in their dormant phase, focusing energy on establishing underground before leafing out in spring. You did everything right — just keep the soil moist (not soggy), and you should see healthy new growth once the weather warms. We appreciate your trust in us and wish your trees a strong start this spring!
