For this order two plants came recently and another will come in the Spring. The two are flowers that should attract pollinators, humming birds, and damselflies to my pond area. These came healthy. I planted them. They are still alive. Let's see if they survive the winter.
For many previous orders I have sometimes gotten healthy plants and sometimes dying plants, things with little or no roots. I ordered running cedar ground cover. I got clippings of cedar vine-like pieces with no roots at all. The first time I ordered pigeonberry ground cover I got these pathetic, maybe not even alive, as in only one green leaf bit, stringy things. The next multiple times that I ordered pigeon berry they were healthy with real roots, stems, and leaves. That area is growing well. It will probably be established in 2 or 3 years. I have ordered so, so many baby trees from TN. They usually come as a stick with a sort of tiny, piece, of root. The only trees from TN that have actually had enough root to grow are a sugar maple, which is about 5 feet tall now, and one of the sassafras trees lived through a winter and was greening the next spring and a lawncare guy pulled the protective chicken wire away from it and trampled it to death. Not the fault of TN. So, I have wasted a lot of money on trees and wasted a little money on plants. I sent pictures of the strings that were supposed to be pigeonberry. They gave me the run around and never sent me replacements or gave me store credit. That was a few years ago. Recently I sent pictures and filled out the form showing the raw, dead, stems of 2 pawpaw trees that I bought and planted this past spring. That was in October. I am still waiting for a reply. I know they can send me replacements if they want to; they were trying to give them away recently on the website. So, I know that I cannot count on what quality of a plant I may get from TN. I know that they do not have the integrity to give refunds or store credit for the many plants that they send out with not enough healthy root to live. I order from them anyway, because they offer the native plants that I want, that I cannot find elsewhere.
I need another Methley Plum tree to replace one that didn't make it from another online nursery.

Easy to shop & pay. Made two orders one day apart. Received them promptly and into the ground! Happy to have bareroots to get an early startwith this shady damp area behind the house. It will be beautiful with the cinnamon fern & my flying critters will be so happy!

I planted my 8 creeping phlox in 2 pots temporarily since it is sooooo hot here... they seem to be doing all right. Plan to plant in garden in fall when it's cooler to get them situated before low temps.

Lovely site. It's well organized and has enough info to make informed decisions about most plants. I would prefer to see details of the plant's growth habits in a grid or list. Scanning through paragraphs to find mature plant height and spread, zone, and soil requirements makes the shopping process a lot more tedious than it needs to be.
More general photos of the plants would also be helpful. Many of the photos are generic, and most of the photos don't show completely mature plants, which would be helpful.
Anyhoo - great nursery! I haven't received any of my orders yet, but I'm confident I'll be happy with what I get.

Promo codes were tricky to get to work right. Plus o didn't realize the ferns would come as dry roots…did I miss that? I'm a pretty digital person, having been responsible for that at a bank. Finally your site says fast shipping with no commitments or estimate of when the shipment would arrive. When I asked, your customer service response was we give ourselves 10-14 business days to ship but you try to get it out asap. The shipment did arrive faster but realize that this experience falls short of current day e-commerce expectations. I planted the day I got them…to date, no sign of life.

I had a little trouble ordering on this website because at first the buy one get one free showed up on the order form and then my order disappeared and when I tried to do it again, it didn't show BOGO, so I wasn't sure if I got the deal or not, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got my order because not only did I receive two of everything I received 4 to 6 of everything.
I just did a search looking for Trillium because I have a perfect place to plant them and your website popped up.

If anything planted below the surface of the soil is planted and temperatures are above 70 degrees, 1-5% may come in that spring or summer, but the majority of those will all come in the following spring. Please wait until your other plants come up and give your new plants a couple of extra weeks before you file a claim.
I was looking for creeping phlox and I found it here! Very happy with how perfectly packaged they were and how healthy considering the weather has been wicked hot. Planting them today and will give an update in the future. Very pleased!

I am a new customer, and anxious to see about your packaging, speed of delivery, quality of product. Thank You. That was my message I sent before receiving the goods.
I did receive my order promptly, well packaged, and satisfied for sure with its contents! I did get them in the soil the next day before the rain that came through.
I do not feel I should reply with my satisfaction for "products/review" until the primrose roots have emerged from the soil and germinated. And have them go through the growing portion of their lives.
I was however very satisfied with the specimens (5), and I do anticipate that they will be absolutely beautiful and a complete success, making me a repeat customer. I am very anxious to have yellow primrose in my perineal garden!

Received dead plants, not even one woke up. Used rich soil and planted by instruction I found in internet. There Was no instructions from nursery how to plant. Customer service just said that they are sorry, promised that they will resolve an issue and did nothing. Better pay more and get quality products somewhere more reliable.

Ordered 120 sedge plants for $365, received box 12 x 10 x 8 of plugs so small you could count the blades. Expectation was 3" - 4" size that other nurseries had. Chose because I like to buy tennessee local.
Difficult getting complaint through to main office. Call center contracted to other site. Said they would resolve. Shipping manager called again to say wanted to get it right. Nothing done.

This place is a joke. 100%. If I could give the zero stars I would. If you wanna be ripped off then by all means, shop here. Took them 6 weeks to ship & The trees were dead and broke in half when I received them. TN nursery after numerous emails finally messaged me back but only to tell me I'm screwed. They don't refund money! Wow. They suck! $180 down the toilet.

In November, 2021, we discovered TN Nursery as a source for the native plants we're using around our house. We placed an initial order for seven varieties to check out the quality. The bare root versions looked great (if you're used to bare roots) though it will be spring before we know for sure. Also, found that customer service was quick and responsive. Since then, we have ordered and received Club Moss (a very difficult plant to find) and a couple of dogwood trees. We are thrilled with finding this gem and have received a Christmas present from our family of a gift certificate to use in the coming months. We highly recommend them.

The Pennsylvania Sedge we planted is gorgeous. We are always complimented on the garden as people walk their dogs near our townhouse path. It is too bad that it is winter now or I could attach a picture of beautiful flowing grasses that never need to be mowed and require little maintenance. Love the plants we received and their survival rate was excellent. A very good choice in a shady area within a hot climate. We will continue to order from Tennessee Wholesale Nursery. Not only did the items arrive dead but they then sent an email stating I needed to leave a "kind review" and offered to send some free plants to bribe me to write a good review which goes against this sites rules (see photo). Don't waste you money on this company as they ship substandard items that are not what you order.

They're website is nice, but that's about it. Although they shipped on time, I have no idea if my order was complete or in what condition. Why? Because they shipped "signature required" in the year 2022….as if people can just be at home all the time. They don't respond to emails, their phone lines inevitably end with a "goodbye" without ever a chance to speak with a human. And now I know why. They are embarrassed to accept the truth. Complete waste of money. Even my UPS driver left a note about why in the world they ship signature required. Total waste of money. Buyers beware.
