Last year, I bought a bare-root ground fern moss. I received it well packed. I really appreciate TN Nursery's effort in making sure that the plant will arrive healthy. Plus their customer service answer my emails real-time. I am inspired to purchase more moss.
Everything I've received from here have been great - ordered moss, spiraea, hydrangea, wisteria and viburnum. Everything was packaged well and arrived quickly, and they are all thriving. Will definitely be ordering more plants in the future!

I stumbled on this nursery while I was surfing the internet for alternatives for grass which despite my best efforts will not grow in certain areas of my yard. I noticed that moss comes up naturally in some of the areas but I just need to add more. Was able to find really helpful info about moss on there website. Then purchased sheet and carpet moss at a decent price. Arrived with a couple days and in great condition. Can't wait till spring so I can buy more

I'm a Christmas tree farm owner. I had ordered 100 Eastern White Pine from TN Nursery for our fall planting however the trees that I received were white pine but long leaf (niddle) pine and not the standard high density short leaf (niddle) that I have planted each time. The description does not state short nor long niddle. When I emailed TN Nursery about the problem, I'm was told after trimming and shaping my white pine will make nice Christmas trees. Most of these seedlings delivered were punny and thin trunks and limbs. Most have died and if any do survive they will not grow to be the type I have set up in my fields. I will give the company 3 stars only for the care and well packaging for shipment.
I planted the items as directed. I was told I could plant now as I am in zone 9. Nothing, I repeat. Nothing happened. The plants were dead and remained so. I requested a refund and I have had not response.

If anything planted below the surface of the soil is planted and temperatures are above 70 degrees, 1-5% may come in that spring or summer, but the majority of those will all come in the following spring. Please wait until your other plants come up and give your new plants a couple of extra weeks before you file a claim.
I was told I would get free shipping if I ordered within 14 minutes which it was.
Ordered 120 sedge plants for $365, received box 12 x 10 x 8 of plugs so small you could count the blades. Expectation was 3" - 4" size that other nurseries had. Chose because I like to buy tennessee local.
Difficult getting complaint through to main office. Call center contracted to other site. Said they would resolve. Shipping manager called again to say wanted to get it right. Nothing done.

Received dead plants, not even one woke up. Used rich soil and planted by instruction I found in internet. There Was no instructions from nursery how to plant. Customer service just said that they are sorry, promised that they will resolve an issue and did nothing. Better pay more and get quality products somewhere more reliable.

This place is a joke. 100%. If I could give the zero stars I would. If you wanna be ripped off then by all means, shop here. Took them 6 weeks to ship & The trees were dead and broke in half when I received them. TN nursery after numerous emails finally messaged me back but only to tell me I'm screwed. They don't refund money! Wow. They suck! $180 down the toilet.

Not only did the items arrive dead but they then sent an email stating I needed to leave a "kind review" and offered to send some free plants to bribe me to write a good review which goes against this sites rules (see photo). Don't waste you money on this company as they ship substandard items that are not what you order.

They're website is nice, but that's about it. Although they shipped on time, I have no idea if my order was complete or in what condition. Why? Because they shipped "signature required" in the year 2022….as if people can just be at home all the time. They don't respond to emails, their phone lines inevitably end with a "goodbye" without ever a chance to speak with a human. And now I know why. They are embarrassed to accept the truth. Complete waste of money. Even my UPS driver left a note about why in the world they ship signature required. Total waste of money. Buyers beware.

I am a professional arborist. All of the root stock I purchased was labeled incorrectly. They refused to correct the issue. Their main concern was to keep the money, not good customer service. The better business bureau is filled with complaints about them. Beware...

They charged me for 15 large ferns, mulberry tree, 4 spruce trees, pine tree, and 5 viburnum in Nov. 2020. All were supposed to be delivered LIVE and 3-4 feet tall for LIVE trees. I received a 2.5 foot dead pine or fern like plant, twice, in a brown box, spring 2021--not packed to survive nor could I revive it. Because they sent two boxes to ship the dead one twice, they claimed I got my entire order. It cost me over $250 to receive one dead plant. BEWARE.

I ordered ferns - ostrich and maiden hair. Bare roots arrived alive and the ostrich fern had a single frond. Planted the roots in peat pots this time so I could keep track of growth until the ferns were well established in soil. Ostrich fern frond immediately died off but new fronds were appearing. Maiden hair has yet to show green above soil but still hoping it will sprout before end of summer.
Customer service was responsive to inquiry about the status of my order.

I ordered several plants in early April and haven't heard or seen a thing. When I enquired I was told that my plants would ship before the end of April. Here it is May 6 and nothing. Do t these people realize that plants have to get in the ground now!?! They took my money soon enough, now show up!

I ordered three plants, planted and cared for per instructions. The tree did not make it. The two others are barely alive, no buds in them and won't likely survive. They say I have to send them back at my own expense, but only after they have had opportunity to work with me for 7 days. They won't work with me, just give me the run around. Total scam.

I searched everywhere to find a huckleberry plant and they were the only ones who would ship to California. I'm still waiting for it to bloom it says it needed a year to establish so hopefully by this spring I will see growth. They shipped really fast. Highly recommend.

Spring of 2021 I ordered 10 bamboo plants that came to me dead, for about $150.00. When I emailed the company they told me I had to wait an entire year to prove that they were in fact "dead" and not "dormant". Now that I have waited an entire year with dead plants displayed in my yard, they say I'm past the warranty date to get a store credit. This is the worst customer service I've ever received. I should have looked more closely at the website to notice that they don't allow reviews with them directly and saw that as a red flag. I should have disputed the charge when I received them dead, instead of trusting them to wait a whole year. This has been a year long terrible experience. I hope everyone that decides to try them, has better luck. Beware!

Ordered and paid for 3 trees recently. They were supposed to be shipped within 3 days. I ordered on a free freight day but the invoices I received showed they charged me freight. Then they emailed and said all shipping had been delayed for a month or two. I told them I wanted to cancel the order. They said that I would be charged 20% to do that. They said they would turn it over to their management team. Now they do not take phone calls or send emails. Crooks, scammers, dishonest IMO. Don't go near them!

This company is so dishonest. They have been caught writing positive reviews for themselves. I received a bag of slime for my plants and was told to plant it and if it didn't grow in a year they would replace if I sent it back. There was nothing to plant I asked which plants they had that were live and got reply that all their plants are dormant year round. How is that possible? Finally I was able to return for store credit and order 6 gallons of worm casings. Received 2 bags and said my order was complete. Filing with weight and measurements division of Tennessee
