I stumbled on this nursery while I was surfing the internet for alternatives for grass which despite my best efforts will not grow in certain areas of my yard. I noticed that moss comes up naturally in some of the areas but I just need to add more. Was able to find really helpful info about moss on there website. Then purchased sheet and carpet moss at a decent price. Arrived with a couple days and in great condition. Can't wait till spring so I can buy more

After placing my order in April and not hearing anything from them for 3 weeks, I did a google search and saw mostly negative reviews. My heart sank. Last week I got the delivery and could not believe my eyes: 6 ferns in one one gallon plastic bag, and 9 sedges in another, both bags filled with Soil Moist to keep these poor plants barely alive. And for these 2 bags of seedlings, I paid $90.
I have placed orders with many nurseries online for many years and this one is definitely the worst.

Placed an order on Saturday. Within less than 24 hours on Sunday, emailed them to cancel my order.
There was no shipping/tracking information that was generated by the time of my cancel request.
They charge 20% fee for cancellation, even when the order has not been yet processed.
To take it even further, a day later they email back asking which plant is not in good condition and they need a picture!

I ordered four wisteria vines to plant along my barn after seeing them at a local nursery for $35.00 each. For less than $30, I was able to order all the plants I needed from Tennessee Wholesale Nursery. My wisteria vines arrived in good condition and came with clear instructions for planting them. I can't to see them bloom in the spring. I will definitely be ordering more plants for my garden next year from Tennessee Wholesale Nursery.

Placed an order a while back and the customer service rep. Completely ignored the critical notes on my order and that I had called her to confirm the instructions were received. Plants arrived dead and when I reached out the rep told me there was nothing they could or would do and I was SOL. Sent multiple requests for assistance eventually receiving no response anymore. I would file a small claims suit in the county if the filing fee wasn't so high. Terrible service, dead plants.

I have ordered several times from TN Wholesale Nursery. They ship quickly (at appropriate growing seasons) and are easy to deal with. I have had good success with their plants. They do ship bare root as advertised and buyers should realize these plants require a little more care, but do respond well. Will buy again.

Onlineplantnursery's selection is only so-so, but still they are my go-to online plant source. I haven't had any problems with them yet. I especially like their fast growing trees! Supposedly the company that runs the site is Garden Delights Online Plant Nursery and is based in Tennessee. Maybe I will go visit them one day!

I have ordered 4 pine trees 2 pitch pine and 2 short leaf pine back in March. Open box and trees where wilted and dry there where no moss are any kind of packing to keep roots moist. Said the trees where in dormant stage but had new growth. They where shipped to late in season I believe. I planned them and a week later they were dead all 4 of them. I will not recommend to anyone or will I ever order though them again

I ordered a white oak tree for fall planting. It was delivered in November and appeared very healthy. It was packaged really well so there was no damage. I could not get this tree anywhere else. It was about 3 feet tall. Now I just have to wait until spring and summer to see it's full glory. I will definitely order from them again.

Sent dead plants, would not even acknowledge my correspondence about them. Sent pictures of dead plants as ask for, have heard nothing. Either poorly run or arrogant hoping unhappy customers will go away. Would NEVER buy again. Beware
We got total games and run-around from Tennessee Wholesale Nursery after they sent us the wrong plants along with completely rotten plants. They played games with us and made us jump through hoops for a whole month after we spent several hundred dollars with them - and they refused us any refund or to replace the mislabelled and dead plants. I have several decades of experience as a professional native plant specialist and worked for several major botanical gardens and native plant conservation organizations. These people are the worst around.
After spending hundreds of dollars, we have nothing to show for it. They clearly take advantage of out-of-state buyers. This is a disreputable business and a total rip off/

I have purchased 128 trees and 97 of them died - the vast majority of them being pine trees with a few red maple and tulip trees. That is a 75% death rate which is absolutely pathetic. One of their problems is they ship through the post office which is extremely unreliable. I had one delivery sit over the weekend and by the time I received them, the pines were already withered and dying. I would not recommend using this company. I ordered pine trees through the arbor day foundation and had an 90%+ survival rate - same tree, planted in the same spot the same time of year.
Their customer support is terrible, never answers the phone and just an overall bad experience.

This company is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau and has an F rating on their website due to terrible customer service. I placed an order almost month ago and paid for priority shipping. It has still not shipped. I was told by the customer service department that I cannot cancel the order in that they are in their busy season and plants are in the warehouse. They told me that priority shipping begins when the item is sent out no matter how long it takes them to get it.
I also ordered a 3 foot Forsythia "bush." If you click on their website link to "What your plants will look like on arrival" you will see what does look like bushes. I received two 3 foot twigs in the mail.
Extremely disappointed.
I've ordered 3 trees so far. 2 two foot trees and on 4 foot tree. 2 of them are doing well. I had one die in the summer/fall heat. I submitted a request for a replacement on Thanksgiving day and to my surprise, received prompt responses within an hour. A replacement is due to ship this spring. It was a pleasant experience.

Ordered 3 ferns, Came SUPPOSEDLY dormant. Looked dead but I planted. One sprouted one fern leaf and nothing else for the last 6 weeks. The 2 others sprouted tiny fronds and one is doing nothing else and the other finally died. I contacted them on their site originally to ask what I could do, special fertilizer for ferns, more or less water. They never replied. Later when the first one died I contacted them on their website again with pictures but couldn't find any place to post them. To bad I didn't go to reviews first. Lesson learned

Easy our vines came well packaged, fresh picked, ie a little dirt on the roots and ready for planting. We loved the prompt delivery, the vines look real healthy. We feel we made a great choice with TN Nursery's.
I will no longer shop with Tennessee Wholesale Nurseries because, although they give a customer service phone number, no one answers it. You are referred to email, where they merely throw links at you. All in all, it's about as impersonal of a shopping experience as one can have. A product without a person behind it does not appeal to me.

If I could give them no stars I would. This business is a scam. Ordered over $300 worth of plants to plant around my pond over a year ago. I received small dried up stems that bore little resemblance to a plant. Not one plant survived. Only then did I investigate and learn that this business has been the subject of numerous complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Unless you like to throw money away, do not patronize this business!
