I received 5 paw paw trees, planted them immediately and properly, and none of them showed any signs of life.
What I did recieved appeared to be dead not just dormant. Some grew some did not. I am trying again with some trees vs the plants I previously purchased.
Thank you, Dawn, for sharing your experience—I truly appreciate your honest feedback as it helps us improve. I’m sorry some of your plants didn’t meet expectations and hope moving to trees brings you rewarding results. Please reach out if we can assist you further along your gardening journey.
I have placed two orders before this one and have been very happy with the plants that I bought. This is a very reliable nursery and I highly recommend it
Thank you so much, Sharon, for your kind words and continued trust in us. We're thrilled to hear our plants have brought you delight, and we're grateful for your recommendation. Looking forward to supporting your garden for many seasons to come!
Some of trees in past orders have been lousy specimens. Some have done great. Feedback given in the past resulted in nothing.

I have ordered plants in the past from TN nursery and they have done well.
Thank you!
I bought a victory a year ago and it is doing wonderful so I'm very happy with the nursery
Thank you so much!
It's near me so plants are in shipping a lesser amount of time, so less stress on them and me.
Thank you!
I've received several trees and all were received in good condition and most are all rooted in and growing
Thank you so much!
Quality bare root young trees (red bud). Excellent survival!
Thank you — you’re keeping native beauty alive!
It was easy to place the order. The bulbs arrived on time and in excellent condition.
Thank you — you’re keeping native beauty alive!
I previously ordered Chinese Chestnut Tree, Pecan Tree, Weeping Willow, and a Pawpaw Tree. None of them survived the summer.
Thank you for giving us another chance — we truly appreciate it! 🌳 Sometimes new trees can struggle through their first summer, especially during heat or drought, but fall is actually the best time to plant bare-root seedlings. Cooler temperatures and moist soil help the roots establish before winter, giving them a stronger start next spring. We’re wishing you great success with this next planting — we’re rooting for you!

My first purchase for our landscaping business. The client was pleased with the sheet moss we installed on her property. Worked well for covering any muddy/dirty areas until they rooted.
Thank you — you’re keeping native beauty alive!

My individual plant purchases generally have done well. However, I bought a wildflower package that was curated to where I live. Those plants did not do very well. Only 2 bulbs out of about 20 survived after being planted.
Lucas, thank you for sharing your feedback and I’m glad most of your plant purchases have thrived! We appreciate you giving the wildflower package a try and will look into ways to improve batch vitality. Your observations truly help us grow alongside our customers.
I have not had good luck with previous sugar maples surviving. Not sure why I care for them and do everything possible but they still die when next spring comes around.
Thank you for sharing your experience, Adam. We truly understand how disheartening it can be to care for trees and watch them struggle, and we’d love to offer any advice or support to help your sugar maples thrive. Please feel free to reach out anytime — your passion for helping your trees grow definitely speaks, and we’re here to assist.
Bare root trees are easy to plant and they have always done well for me. I have a big lot so I need a lot of trees and shrubs. TN Nursery makes it affordable and easy to add these to my property.
Thank you so much!
