I previously ordered Chinese Chestnut Tree, Pecan Tree, Weeping Willow, and a Pawpaw Tree. None of them survived the summer.
My first purchase for our landscaping business. The client was pleased with the sheet moss we installed on her property. Worked well for covering any muddy/dirty areas until they rooted.
Thank you — you’re keeping native beauty alive!
Bought 2 bare root American Berry bushes for zone 9b…they have grown into absolutely gorgeous shrubs loaded with blooms and berries for the wildlife. I adore them!

My individual plant purchases generally have done well. However, I bought a wildflower package that was curated to where I live. Those plants did not do very well. Only 2 bulbs out of about 20 survived after being planted.
Lucas, thank you for sharing your feedback and I’m glad most of your plant purchases have thrived! We appreciate you giving the wildflower package a try and will look into ways to improve batch vitality. Your observations truly help us grow alongside our customers.
I have not had good luck with previous sugar maples surviving. Not sure why I care for them and do everything possible but they still die when next spring comes around.

Bare root trees are easy to plant and they have always done well for me. I have a big lot so I need a lot of trees and shrubs. TN Nursery makes it affordable and easy to add these to my property.

I've been super happy with the service but I haven't been 100% satisfied with the survival rate of the plants I received.
Thank you so much!

My first time ordering was good, except that it took 8 days for my dogwood trees to make it to Michigan once they shipped. They lived through the eexperience and so did I..
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Mark — we’re truly grateful for your patience along the way and thrilled that your dogwood trees arrived healthy. It means a lot to hear that your first order went well, and we look forward to supporting your garden with care in the future!
It looked like I was shipped a box of twigs, I was concerned - especially after reading some reviews. HOWEVER - as per the directions said, I let them soak - for maybe a day longer than I should've (no time to plant). I know have three thriving hydrangeas and two dog woods. My lilies of the valley didn't seem to take and the jury is still out of the lilac bushes. They may just be slow growers - I did get a few green leaves so if they fail, it's probably on me. My biggest issue is, I am running out of space to plant these trees!
Hi Amanda, thank you so much for sharing your garden journey with us! We're delighted to hear your hydrangeas and dogwoods are thriving—momentum like that is such a gratifying reward. If space gets tight, let us know; we can help brainstorm some creative planting ideas to keep your gardening excitement growing!
The same as this experience, plants are minimal, roots, rhizomes healthy but need time grow
Thanks so much for sharing your experience, David! We're happy to hear the plants arrived healthy, and we completely agree—good things take a little time to grow. Looking forward to watching those roots thrive alongside you!
I lost a couple of trees that were under warranty and after I submitted photos to show that they were not living, they will replace without question.
Hi Ian, thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience. We're thrilled to hear the warranty process was smooth—we truly value honest feedback and making things right when they matter. Looking forward to supporting your upcoming gardening projects!
Answer: The buy one get one offer they ran. It was a Hugh mistake. I regret wasting my money!
Answer: I can never get a response from anyone. If I call the number with my issue they tell me I have to email them.
Answer: Call the customer service number listed on the site Mon-Fri 8:00-4:00 CST
Thank you for giving us another chance — we truly appreciate it! 🌳 Sometimes new trees can struggle through their first summer, especially during heat or drought, but fall is actually the best time to plant bare-root seedlings. Cooler temperatures and moist soil help the roots establish before winter, giving them a stronger start next spring. We’re wishing you great success with this next planting — we’re rooting for you!
