I bought a Bald Cypress for my wife as a gift to replace a tree that had to come down. It was 3' tall when it arrived. It is now over 7' tall and is absolutely gorgeous! Just order some Dogwoods to put in the same area.

The ordering process fails to describe the work the nursery does to prepare the plants for shipping. That prep time is totally fair to have - but the info should be included in the details about delivery time so that we don't develop false expectations.

I've had mixed success but am willing to give this another try. Because a free tree is shipped with the order it made up for the one that never rooted. Two shrubs and one tree have done well! They are shipped promptly and are well packaged.

I received 5 paw paw trees, planted them immediately and properly, and none of them showed any signs of life.

What I did recieved appeared to be dead not just dormant. Some grew some did not. I am trying again with some trees vs the plants I previously purchased.

Some of trees in past orders have been lousy specimens. Some have done great. Feedback given in the past resulted in nothing.

I previously ordered Chinese Chestnut Tree, Pecan Tree, Weeping Willow, and a Pawpaw Tree. None of them survived the summer.
Thank you for giving us another chance — we truly appreciate it! 🌳 Sometimes new trees can struggle through their first summer, especially during heat or drought, but fall is actually the best time to plant bare-root seedlings. Cooler temperatures and moist soil help the roots establish before winter, giving them a stronger start next spring. We’re wishing you great success with this next planting — we’re rooting for you!
