With an impending snowstorm and more on the horizon I purchased a set of four Firestone/Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 tires. I had previously had WS70s on my vehicle in the past and knew that I was getting what I paid for. My tires arrived quickly in about a day and a half to two days. I think the pricing is competitive.

The entire process was great on Tire Rack's end. It's when I decided to cheap out and choose Pep Boys to installed my tires is where I went wrong. Pep Boys system doesn't interface with TR so my appointment wasn't set. A few hours later my car was ready. I paid and took my car. Less than thirty minutes after pickup, I'm stranded and had to have my car towed. I called pep boys and they acted non the wiser. I had my car towed to my mechanic who informed me that my power steering belt shredded to pieces following pep boys " professional" installation. Learn from me and don't cheap out, go to Firestone or somewhere similar. Anywhere but Pep Boys.

Can not reach Walmart rep in auto to advise the tires will be on the way to call me and let me know when to go and get them on the car.

I placed an order for a tire that was on backorder for a few months. The site didn't mention it however. When I placed the order, a salesman named Sam Donahoe emailed me off-hours to tell me they were backordered and he'd be happy to help place an order for another tire. I asked for his recommendations and he promptly replied again with a great selection. He was courteous, quick, and very helpful and I just wanted to give him some props and say thanks.
