Had my tires delivered to my mechanic's shop. They came very quickly and I have not had them put on my car yet. I one thing that surprised me was that this is the end of October 2021 and these tires were made in February 2020. So, even though they are new tires, the rubber is already over a year and a half old. I read on one web site that you should be cautious about driving on tires over 8 years old, even if there is plenty of tread. Evidently the rubber can break down.
Looking forward to driving on my new Goodyear assurance weather ready tires. Hopefully I'll wear them out in 6 years!
