Paid for the subscription. Then going through the verification process and got banned. For absolutely no reason haven't even spoke to anybody. Paid for my subscription two days ago
Let me start by saying I like(ed) using this app and would continue to use it if customer support wasn't garbage. Ive been unable to log into my account for over 6 months now and keep getting an error message of please try again. So I contact tinder 6+ months ago and no answer, over and over no answer. Finally I get an answer back and its an automated response telling me to do all the things I explained I had tried to fix the problem. I respond back and I get the exact SAME response of steps to fix the error.
TL; DR FUN APP $#*! CUSTOMER SERVICE
Tinder changed my gender to a man looking for a man although I'm a lady I was getting gay men matching me yet my photos were as a lady I tried to change my settings and then I get a lifetime ban no way of contacting tinder for all the hurt that's is caused me how rude guys were thinking I was dressed as a lady when I'm a lady and I get a lifetime ban disgusting
You can't browse people locally, for 1 month is expensive and they match you with people in Melbourne when I'm in rocky, and you can't use tinder properly on laptop.
Unlike many thinks on Tinder. Dont have video feature on profile.
Limited for many thinks. Just average. Is kind of Free
But very limited app. The changes of success are very limited
First off, they will boot you for no reason. The sluts running around selling their bodies and using tinder as a pool for customers (and surely spreading diseases) are free to roam the site. This is essentially a legal sex site. I was harassed by TRANS and DRAG QUEENS DAILY. Paid $30/month, MALE looking for FEMALES, no further than 90 miles away -> what I got in return was homosexuals, drag queens, and transies that somehow made it past the crappy system tinder has; picks outside of the age range I specified (over 10+ years the selected age range) and picks from over 5,000 miles away (yes, I said 5,000). I also know a few women on this site, and they mentioned that quite a few men have harassed them and that multiple men are sending $#*! pictures through chat. Essentially, get a free tinder, add your number or gmail in a special way on the body of the paragraph, and you'll be good to go. If you pay for it you'll find out the hard way like I did that this app is phony. If you want sex, definitely add this app. If you want a good dating app, download Bumble. Lots of alcoholics and drug users, and women with 3+ kids at age 25. Good luck
The worst dating site. I can't even send messages as a gold member. Even if I became a premium member, all I can see is the girls' pictures. Worst customer services, too.
If you pay, you will get nothing. Nobody is there to help you and you will lose your money. As my experience, this site has nothing to present. Do not waste your time and your money with Tinder!
A scam bot got me when I first signed on to it. I payed for something and got ripped off. Can't even find a way to be refunded, if there is a way i can't find it.
I have been trying to CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION FOR THREE CONSECUTIVE MONTHS. I tried with my google account, with my apple subscriptions and through my Tinder account and it does not allow me to do it! This is insane, I do not use the app, nor the service and they are taking from my account $15 USD every month, it is just not fair and there is no way to contact them. I tried sending them a request through their website but the "protected by reCAPTCHA" does not work either, I really do not understand. This company is taking advantage of people and they should be hold accountable, starting at least with an easier way to contact customer support. WHAT A BAD EXPERIENCE!
CAN YOU JUST STOP TROLLING ME SOMETIMES WITH THE ADVERTISING EVERY 10 SWIPES RECCOMENDING TO SHARE THIS BUGGED APP IRONICALLY AND ACT LIKE THE MOST POPULAR BE BEING FUNCTIONAL AT LEAST INSTEAD OF ADDING BUGS AND SAYING TO SEND YOU A PRINTSCREEN AS IF YOU DONT WORK HERE?
IMAGINE PAYING FOR BUGS WHEN NO ADS ARE CLAIMED IN THE SUBSCRIPTION AND EVEN NO SUPPORT OR FIX
SMALL INDIE COMPANY WITHOUT MONEY TO MAKE IT WORK, TYPICAL GIANT ONLY FUNDING THE USELESS MARKETING TEAM AND THE REST UNEXISTENT
Tinder is fine really if hooking up is your goal and don't expect to find quality since it does not exist on there. You will be bombarded with tons of single parents and very entitled people that probably should not be this way. I have used Tinder for a couple of years now and yes I did pay for membership during all that time so I do know what I am talking about, mostly just single moms and dads for that matter or people using very lame pick up lines that will make you cringe, but that's to be expected since they got them from Reddit. Also, it is awash with cheaters and "poly" people, talk about disgusting.
If you are looking for an intelligent conversation, a meaningful relationship or intelligence of any kind then do not use this app since you will be left disappointed and with a bad taste in your mouth. But on the other hand, if you are looking to hook up with a bunch of brainwashed dimwits then this is right up your alley.
The mainly negative thing i would say about Tinder, in general, would be their inability to get rid of the only fans and Instagram thots, it's very disgusting and they should look for simps elsewhere honestly, but they refuse to ban them.
Hi Tinder Support Team,
Thank you for your response, even though it didn't address my issue. It's disappointing that you cannot provide support when users encounter problems with their Tinder experience, especially when money is involved. It seems that Tinder takes advantage of people looking for companionship by quickly taking their money for subscriptions and add-ons but offering no assistance when their experience falls short of expectations. It's unfortunate that you didn't offer any educational resources or attempt to troubleshoot the issue, whether it was the user's fault or not.
As someone who manages a customer success team at a fintech company in San Francisco, I'm deeply concerned by this kind of treatment of customers. Our team is expected to ensure that investors have a great experience and are equipped with the tools to be successful on our platform. If something isn't working as intended, we fix it. Our goal is for customers to feel positive about working with our company and to share their experience with others, potentially growing our customer base.
If your management team saw this exchange, I doubt they would consider it an example of quality customer service.
To be clear, I'm not angry; I'm just disappointed. As a result, I will be canceling my services with your company and switching to another app that will hopefully demonstrate more concern for creating an environment conducive to customer service and sensitivity to the fact that this app is about relationships - ironically, something that you just broke between Tinder and myself.
Best wishes,
Mark
Tinder is the go to app for digital scammers and fake profiles. I got scammed with digital currencies, I contacted tinder all they did was delete the profile from my matches, stay away from this app
I've used Tinder off and on for a number of years. In the last year, the site/app has taken a big turn for the worse. First, they've reduced the benefits to paid users and removed at least one from free users. All in a grab for your money.
The worst thing lately is the number of fake profiles. The sad thing is that they could easily be removed. The most common thing is for the scammers trying to get your Snapchat. The profiles are in one of 3 different formats. 2 of the 3 could EASILY be removed/blocked with 5 minutes of coding on their part. The profiles seemed to be created programmatically, and simply putting a CAPTCHA on the signup would greatly slow their creation.
How many of these are there? In my 50-mile search radius, there are as many as 100 of these in a single day. Most days are 30-40. Tinder apparently doesn't care since it does nothing about them.
I attached one example. It's a country code (shows up as a flag in the app), "SC" and the Snapchat, another country code, and a random word.
Save your money. Create a free profile, but don't get sucked into paying.
A decent timekiller with a portion of laughing sometimes (the photo or the comments). However some people can make the experience really strange to me.
Absolute joke, I am 6ft3 built like an athlete and reasonably looking yet I get no matches. Women on there are either deluded or fake/bots.
Yet I go down my gym and get 2-3 women looking at me...
I was scammed, not once but twice. These people steal photos and everything to pretend to be someone they are not. They ask for money. Never send money!
I joined it but deleted it on the same day.
I have no interest in casual sex so the site was not for me.
I got 100s of messages from guys asking me for sex. I just deleted my profile right away.
From the point of view of some 1 that wants more than a fling I realy like tinder. I use it with wejustfit and those 2 are the dating websites I like the most.
Answer: 1 out of 1000 profiles may be real. I had one date, which was just one night stand and didn't go further on. But it took me so much time to get just a few replies. Then I thought that I should have some self-respect and stop losing my time. I joined a trusted site with profile verification and all that stuff https://j4l.com/402007 Things turned around for me there! I had several dates in one month and I found a woman I fell in love with! It's a matter of finding a dating site that verifies profiles and doesn't let scammers in.
Answer: Yeah, you advertise 55 billion profiles and there are only 8 billion people on the planet. You make the sad people want to kill themselves bc we can never find a date. Get rid of the fake profiles. Goodness you guys have been scamming the world for years.
Answer: Yes. It's a scam. I test the sites and write reviews... it's full of Snapchat subscription girls and catfish.
Tinder has a rating of 1.6 stars from 551 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Tinder most frequently mention customer service, fake profiles and phone number. Tinder ranks 647th among Dating sites.
