After waiting 5 month and paying for postage charges as well still didnt got my ticket. After more then 30 min on the phone, from which i was listening some $#*!ty music for 28 min, they just told me that I need to pick up my tickets at the box office? WORST company ever,
Stadium show scheduled for July was canceled due to pandemic. Ticketmaster will not refund my money. Called 2 different times and waited on hold for 20 minutes each time. Second time I talked to a level 2 rep who proceeded to hang up on me after 5 minutes. Also sent an email to executive and received no response.
Terrible company. Avoid doing business with them.
I purchased two tickets for tonight U2 show in Phoenix about two months ago, At the time I thought they were expensive but I wanted to take my daughter to see them before they stopped touring.
Today the tickets are 1/3 of the price I paid from Ticketmaster and after contacting them I was basically told they will not be giving refunds.
I have been going to concerts for as long as i can remember and this Dynamic Pricing is to me a total scalper move. Next time Im going to take my chances and buy from some shady guy in a trench coat at least he will look you in the eye as he rips you off.
Disgusting and the bands and venues that support these companies need to rethink their strategy.
Bono you left your fellow country man down,,,
I bought two tickets to Trans-Siberian Orchestra for 12/9/22 at Bon Secours Wellness center in Greenville, SC. I knew the tix would be expensive, but I didn't realize the secondary seller fees were so much. I paid $592 for what I would learn upon delivery of the tickets that their face value is $92.50 each. Don't get duped like I did! Beware! This is a $400 over charge lesson for me. Never again!
I've been going to concerts longer than some of you who are reading this probably. I use Ticketmaster often because I know I can rely on it. It's usually right there with the best value for the price too. It seems they've all gotten a little greedy with the fees in the past 2 years but especially this year though. Not too happy about that. It's definitely cut down on the opportunity to go as often as I have gone in the past. I'm not sure who's in charge of the fees. But I would like to think it's not the bands. Since we the people especially those who usually are the ones who don't make that much money are the ones who put them on the map to the status they're at to begin with should be able to go see them even after they get big. Just saying.
They have ligitmized scalping with this resale BS. I ticket that was purchased yesterday for $129, from which they made a fee, they are now allowing to be resold for $408, plus fees, the next day. So they make money on the same ticket twice. Scalping is illegal, but they are making it easy. It will stop ONLY when the artists pull the ticketing out from under Ticketmaster. (like Taylor Swift did! Bravo for her sticking up for her fans and sticking it to the crap company that profits off of screwing their customers!
The fees are unbelievable and can easily add up the whole price of another ticket! Avoid and purchase from the venue's box office if at all possible. The only positive about them is that they are trustworthy, but if you are forced to a buy a ticket through them online you will typically get price gouged beyond belief.
Caveat emptor. Ticketmaster.com BAIT and SWITCH. Tickets charged at double the face value. Their claim--you bought from a reseller. I say--no, no, no I went on YOUR website. They say we were redirected and they claim no responsibility. The reseller (who was directly linked to the ticketmaster page and did NOT make the switch obivous) takes no responsibility saying their banner is different. Blah, blah, blah. Liars, cheats, frauds. NEVER AGAIN. Be warned, better yet, stay away. I am not the only one. People sitting beside me -- exactly the same story.
I wanted to contact them by anyway because I have bought tickets, but the dates on the website and on my ticket are different. So, they made a mistake. I just want to know the date of the show. I never could reach them. There is no phone number, email, or direct messaging. There is no support center.
If there was a way to get zero stars, I would definitely be doing that. This is one of the worst ran business out there, freely telling peoples money and making it out like it is the customers problem when in fact it is terrible policies and disregard for sales support that lead to the issues. They literally have told me I have to pay back for tickets I sold because the show was canceled and then they would pay me back. Now I'm being told I won't be paid back because I didn't update my payment info, which I did. COVID caused many issues but their handling of the situation is disgusting. I am 100% done with Ticketmaster and will never again attend any event that exclusively sells their tickets through this organization.
Bought 2 tickets online, when I went to claim them they said another email had already done it. Tried to call them no phone number just an email form, received a return email stating they would get back to me in 24-48 hrs, the event was tonight, and couldn't go. Working with credit card company to get my money back.
Tried to purchase Coldplay tickets through Ticketmaster's web site during presale... chose seats, went to pay for them, and received message "Sorry, we cannot complete this transaction at this time." End result: tickets disappeared. Tried again... same result. Tried a third time... same message. A week later, during regular ticket sale, SAME THING! Contacted customer support... got a "canned" email apology with an 800 number for assistance. Worthless... no human answered. Will NEVER purchase tickets through this joke-of-a-business. They don't give a rat's a** about customer service.
Terrible way to purchase tickets. Was not able to get into the event using photo ID and form of payment as instructed at checkout. Event needed a QR code that wasn't provided. Tried to contact while standing at the event and no one ever would contact me back. Then 5 days later received an email saying the issue was resolved and no refund was allowed because the event had already happened. NEVER again will I purchase anything from ticketmaster.
I have tickets to the Garth Brooks concert that was canceled. The credit card I used has been closed. I've been talking with customer support via email for 6 months trying to get my refund and they just keep telling me to wait. Said it was sent to the original credit card company but I've reached out them and they have received nothing. You can't talk with someone at ticketmaster because they don't answer the phone. What an unprofessional company. They're totally avoiding me. It's been over 6 months and I have not received my refund. I would never ever use this crummy company to purchase tickets again.
Ticketmaster is terrible. I bought tickets for a football game. Had trouble with their app the previous time I bought sports tickets. Took a chance again. Checking their app starting 4 days before event and everything is fine. Day before event I try and log on and the app says I cannot access the app try again later. No app no tickets! Tried game day same message can't access app. I had four friends I bought tickets for and we were all standing outside the football stadium unable to get on the stupid, worthless, meaningless, pointless, unusable. POS app! You know how I felt. I hate you Ticketmaster!
Absolutely terrible experience. Price gougers and their website wouldn't even let me buy tickets, so I downloaded the app, which then kept crashing and insisted the show didn't exist (after I searched it and it showed up + I clicked it). Never buying a ticket through their service and will never recommend it to anyone.
I bought tickets to a musical under a site called Ticket Center. I tried downloading them to my phone but they didn't appear on my Ticketmaster app. Evidently this is a company that works with Ticketmaster. I was told to go to am.ticketmaster.com to find and get my tickets on my phone. The lady I talked to gave me the standard answer that she was sorry that I had a 25 minute wait on the phone. She was very hard to understand due to her accent. Why do we pay these crazy fees from Ticketmaster, but can't even get good customer service from them? I wish there would be a way to boycott this company some how!

Ticketmaster scammed us into buying tickets for an outdoor concert with the promise that there would be lawn chairs available. That was a lie, and was made worse when we discovered that the venue does not allow us to bring our own chairs either. We'll NEVER do business with them again!
This is my first time using ticket master personally and it will be my last. Long story short my ticket is lost and no one will help me. I've tried to contact them several times and they don't even listen to the problem and send me messages on how to use the app. I've even ask if they could just give me a number to call but they completely ignored the question.
Ticketmaster will not credit my account for someone fraudulently using my debit card for ticket purchases. After numerous emails with Ticketmaster, they said they would escalatethe issue to their fraud team which they never did or had intentions of doing. My bank was contacted immediately upon discovery of this issue. I will get my money back. DO NOT use Ticketmaster period. They do not even deserve a star!
Answer: I had this exact same problem and after multiple attempts to contact TicketMaster customer service still haven't been able to get this issue resolved. Have been getting the runaround from TM "Fan Support" via Twitter for a week and a half now (PS - Twitter was the only avenue for contacting TM customer service where I actually got a response from someone - had also tried their toll free Cust Svc phone number and got a recording saying that phone number isn't being monitored; also tried emailing their Cust Svc email account and got auto-reply saying that isn't being monitored either and directing me to their Cust Svc FAQs which say that in order to reach Cust Svc, you need to log into your account - but of course I was blocked from being able to do that because they think I'm a bot). Good luck with this - hope you can get a response from them. I still haven't been able to get any resolution of this same issue with my TM account. Once I get this resolved, I'll never do business with them again!
Answer: No, mine was a price jump
