I just called Three (31 August 2023) and I called regarding to cancel my contract and waited for 1 hour only for the employee to put me on hold. I had spoken to 5 different colleagues and they all said my contracts ends on 8th September 2023 and I had a overdue amount left to pay and the colleagues said that inorder to cancel my contract I need to pay the overdue amount first, after paying the amount i spoke to the next colleague which then he said my contract ends 12th December 2024 and said I have to pay £200+ inoder to cancel my contract. After the untrained staff who didn't know how to speak to customer clearly and have no manners, said "it was probably a glitch in the system" I asked to speak with a manger to which they said he is busy at the moment and I should hold. After being on hold for 10 minutes, the person comes back and says I just spoke with my manager and he told me the same thing. So I asked I still want to speak with the manager. He said to wait again and waited for another 5 minutes for them to just hang up after wasting 1 hour 30 minutes of my life. I would never again recommend this to anyone nor will I ever come back here ever again. 0 stars is too low for the way I got treated today by the very untrained staff and not professional at all. I would like this matter to be checked out thoroughly as the calls get recorded for monitoring and training purposes. I had called with the following number

WORST NETWORK EVER

I cancelled my Internet dongle contract with Three but they didn't cancel it and they messed up my credit for non-payment. This is the worst network in the UK. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN USE THREE NETWORK

3G keep charging me £6 extra every month for Nor reason, I called them more than 10 times they keep saying we will call you back. Never received any phone call from them.

I don't recommend 3G to anyone.

10 years with Vodafone had No issues

Shame on 3G

I will NEVER EVER associate myself with Three UK EVER AGAIN. They are the most underhand company that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I had a contract with them for 2 years which ran out in July 2023. I contacted them to a week or so after the contract ended and they produced a final bill of £20.22 with no proper explanation. I spoke with a lady called Maria. Probably the most smug and arrogant person that I have ever spoken to. I had been with 3 mobile for over 20 years and will NEVER deal with them again.

They will steal your money. Give you nothing in return and if you complain they will gaslight you and be as rude as you cant even possibly imagine and lie to you and try make you think their failed business is YOUR FAULT. They will get SO RUDE and if you retaliate they will request you to be more professional as if im some professional three agent and they are the customer. You literally cant make this madness upp wow unreal

I been supporting these criminals for years excited about the most advances network in the uk, give them your money at your own risk. They cant even give you enough reception to make a call. 20 years later... advanced my a**

If I write a true & accurate review, it will be like War & Peace. Without the Peace!
They are impossible to deal with & if you want to keep your sanity you would not be so stupid as to have a contract with them.
They're seen as quite cheap, but you know the old saying….
"You buy cheap, you buy twice!" Just simply avoid like the plague.
Ps. I'm even annoyed at having to give them 1 star. There should be an option for zero.

Worst of the worst...

Worst of the worst...
Network is the worst
Customer is the worst

It keeps showing network is not register
I change my phone and still the same
I clean the simcard and still the same

Customer service keeps saying, your area is under developed every time i call.

It's been over 6 months and still the same.
Because of the contract i can't change the network provider yet.

It destroys plenty of my jobs.

After 10 years as a loyal customer had to leave due to the rediculous upgrade prices for a new phone and contract. Even a SIM only upgrade costs more than elsewhere. I even had 2 contracts with Three for years but staff were rude when you refused their rediculous offers. Please all use USwitch. I am now with I.D Mobile who use the Three Network anyway. P.s. Before you comment from the Comms Department at Three... i'd be looking for a new job if I was you, if you can't compete you're pending a takeover and job cuts or going bust.

Scammed my mum

They said they will change the unlimited £20 to the same unlimited to £6 because she has been a customer for 10+years but turns out it was a 4GB data plan lol

And for half the month she was on unlimted the other half she was on 4GB data plan even though she paid £20

Customer support are scamming thieves, slow, takes hours to make a small change, bad signal, ironically there were no signal outside their three local store with the three simcard LOL, absolutely waste of life do not use them

Unhelpful speaking with the staff today. I asked a few times to speak with management as Three took my money for a pay as you go SIM top up for a SIM that was INACTIVE. The team couldn't (so they say) reimburse my money even though I had a clear screenshot evidence. The number it let me too up was void. Yet I've lost my money. ONE HR and a half on the call to three different representatives. Kept getting referred back to the online chat help which couldn't help. As the number had no Acc to access! A massive company yet they refused to reimburse my money? I have been with them on another number for 8yrs! There is no option in the chat box to upload my screenshot evidence so the chat guy said he couldn't help me!? There is no email address on their website to send such a query. What a disappointment after being a good regular paying customer for 8yrs

In the UK Three worked fine but we specifically asked about using it in Spain and France. We both bought unlimited data only to find we were restricted to 12GB everywhere we went except UK. When we renewed - we ran out of data in about 2 days (instead of a month) because of some glitch in three's system that treated us as casual users. To get this fixed we spent over an hour "chatting " online. They refused to phone to fix the problem so we wasted all that time (we were using our data) getting it fixed, only to find when the 12GB ran out we had the same problem. Now I try to cancel my subscription but cannot obtain the email address and all other ways to contact them are almost impossible.

Your catch 22 system makes it impossible to contact you on a phone without a recorded message is disgrace whatever you try.

I am seriously pissed off a purchased a 3 Sim on Thursday the 1st day in country and 20 pound package this lasted 2 days in a place of limited coverage while hiking. As l needed a phone and to check internet against my better judgement I used my credit to purchase an unlimited data pack for 35 pound. You can imagine my surprise when unlimited data means virtually nothing as after 20 mins it said all data has run out. Unbelievable I thought Ned Kelly was dead. I have now flushed your Sim down the toilet where you dishonest practices and products deserve to be.

The only problem is you now have credit card number probably hocking it on the dark web as we speak. My plans are to least warn visitors to UK on as many forums as possible to your unscrupulous practices.

There was no way l was going to fork out any money for another 15 mins of net for your premium package so l have to use my wife's data probably being an astronomical amount per minute.

I became a customer of Three just over two years ago when I entered into a 2-year contract for a multi-sim and internet dongle. The network is fine for about 3 - 4 months then just cuts out every other day so you're essentially paying for a few pieces of plastic that do absolutly nothing. Basically just put them aside and kept paying until my contract ended as the customer service is none existent.

They will tell you that the contract won't auto-renew. However, this is a lie. The people in the store are worse than the ones on the phone, if you can get past the automated phone line... Press 3 to cancel contract, Press 1 to upgrade.

Absolutely horrendous. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.

I would give this company no stars if that was possible.

I ordered the hub router in April it didnt work in my area so cancelled it in the cool of time given. I was told I would be sent a package to post the router back in. I didnt receive this. But kept waiting and looking for it in the post.
I then recieved an email this month saying as I had not returned the router they would start to charge me. I then rang again to tel lthem I never recieved the package to post it back to them back and they couldnt find my account, I gave them the IEM number from the router as they requested they couldnt find it.

I took the router to a Threee shop to try and return it. They wouldnt take it. The lady who works for Three rang the Three number to speak to a very rude man and then the Three shop worker and I emailed Three and I was told I would receive an responce in 72 hours. As to how I could return the router

A week later no response|!
I did receive an email saying they will start charging me on next month £40 a month as I had not returned the router.

I just spoke to them again and they are emailing me a label to post the the router back myself.
Im not convinced this email will be sent!
Im stuck with the rounter I cannot return that they want to charge me for keeping!

They will cheat you out of cancelling in so many ways. Expect to spend hours on the phone trying to achieve this. I thought it was cancelled and then moved countries, in the meantime they kept billing my uk account for three years then sent debt collectors after me once they drained it. Emailed them twice and called three times trying to cancel, still have not got clear cancellation.

Three is a scam company. I will never be recommending you to anybody and I wish I'd never joined. I've not been able to properly use my iPhone and receive calls and texts that aren't through iMessage for over a month now because my old mobile number with Vodafone that I wanted to keep was not successfully switched over to my new Three SIM card. It turns out that Three made the mistake of switching over my old mobile number to my new Three broadband SIM card instead. I've just received a new SIM card today - after the previous SIM card never showed up - and guess what?! It doesn't work! The old mobile number still isn't showing up in my phone. I've tried turning iMessage on and off, turning my phone on and off, resetting my network settings, etc. and *nothing* is working. I can't enter the old mobile number that I wanted to keep into my phone, either, because it isn't receiving texts that aren't through iMessage, let alone no calls. Three has royally screwed up.

The live chat agents all suck and recommend me to do the same exact thing over and over again when I said I already have tried that procedure multiple times. They then try to push that exact procedure on me and never solve the issue.

What could have been a very easy fix has now turned into a huge pile of problems.

I'm past my wit's end and quite frankly, I don't see an end in sight to this issue which clearly is not on my end.

I sent in a complaint about 3 weeks ago and have yet to hear back. Three of course says they aim to reply within 14 days but I know by now that that's a joke. Going to have to go to the Ombudsman if this is unresolved after 8 weeks. You have another month to get your act together, Three.
