If I write a true & accurate review, it will be like War & Peace. Without the Peace!
They are impossible to deal with & if you want to keep your sanity you would not be so stupid as to have a contract with them.
They're seen as quite cheap, but you know the old saying….
"You buy cheap, you buy twice!" Just simply avoid like the plague.
Ps. I'm even annoyed at having to give them 1 star. There should be an option for zero.
If only you could give zero stars
It takes hours to try and sort your problem and they never do what they say they will... third chat with customer relations today, so 3 hours so far... let's hope they do what they have promised three times so far... stay away from this company is my advice.
Don't get me wrong, everyone is polite and says how important it is to get it right for you, they just never do what they promised
The only bonus is that this issue arose on my pay as you go sim, and I was just about to move our contract sims over to them... lucky escape there.
After a two years contract, I needed to cancel my contract as Three do not offer good rates outside the UK. So, I lost my sim and could not get from a Three customer service representative my PAC code to transfer my number to another network. My contract ended in June 2022. My last payment to Three was made in August 2022 by direct debit £37.16, so I had to cancel my direct debit towards them. I was paying for nothing... As a result, Three came up in October with a charge of £79,33.
Horrible. Service is baffling not content at all. I called because nothing was working. Like usual. I called but they said to kill myself or suck it up. Got a new machine installed in the gaff. Insulted me in whispered English because they thought I was foreign. I'm not. They kicked my cat wouldn't recommend
If i could put no stars I would.
Absolutely disgusting and no point in talking to the complaints team as you never get a straight answer for anything.
They will rob you for any amount, where ever they can find a loop hole.
They do not like to provide you with any evidence of chat due to "data protection" or receipts for bills that you have paid.
The frustration I had trying to get straight answers and help is appalling.
I would not recommend three to anyone.
I had an issue with the promotional deal not being applied after the 45ish days they said it would,
I got in touch with them and they sorted it out there and then the guy on the phone was so helpful to me that I felt the need to write this review to show that they are not all negative and its 5 star's from me.
Thanks Three.
Unfortunately I made a mistake and renewed my contract. I don't know what happened to this company. I have had the new contract for over 3 months and have had two complaints filed. I'm trying to change my surname after the wedding, I've already sent 2 emails after which I should receive an email ID with a number, but I don't receive it, so I can't change my surname! I don't want to write about all the complaints, but I can advise you to choose another company if you want peace of mind!
On May 21,2024, I visited the Three store at 49 North End Road in Croydon to activate the 5G Home Broadband service. Unfortunately, upon verification, I discovered that the service is not available in my area.
Within the same week, I returned to the store to cancel the contract. On May 25,2024, the store staff initiated the cancellation process by contacting customer service. On June 21,2024, I received the return envelope for the 5G Home Broadband device and promptly returned it to Three.
To my surprise, on July 1,2024, I received an email informing me of a £34.14 charge related to the contract. I immediately paid the charge. Customer service initially informed me that these payments would be refunded; however, upon my subsequent call, I was advised that no refund would be issued.
"I have made payments up to now: on July 2,2024, for £46.16, July 15,2024, for £34.12, and the upcoming scheduled charge for the end of the month of £454.96, due on July 31,2024"
I would like to emphasize that I acted promptly to cancel the contract as soon as I discovered the service's unavailability in my area.
I kindly request your intervention in this matter to ensure a fair resolution. I believe that due to the service's unavailability in my area and my timely efforts to cancel the contract, I should not be liable for any charges.
I was with 3 for seven years they were originally very good low price tariffs and decent coverage. Now the coverage is average to low in many places in London London been such a hub for everything you would've thought that 3 would up again in London but it is actually bad trying to run a business through a hotspot with no coverage is impossible. Although the customer service is in India I would say that people are very friendly and do try and help they have a impossible task offering good customer service for such a lousy company. I wish there was zero stars as I would give it zero.
Absolutely awful customer service! Trying to get an answer from the complaints department is like pulling teeth! Absolutely no compassion, but a rude and extremely antagonist experience! An awful experience throughout, and I for one will never recommend them!
I had an issue regarding my account and was promised a £5 credit was to be applied to my account, after contacting three several times to get this sorted and be reassured "I Will surely sort this for you" everytime and being told every time that it was done, it was never done. I have wasted so much of my time trying to rectify an issue Three said would be sorted at first point of contact, after this i am leaving Three and paying three months line rental just to leave them, i will never use them and would urge anyone thinking of using them to go elsewhere, (signal is pretty bad as well). Even when i stated basically what i am listing here to the last agent i contacted, nothing was done to leave me in anyway confident that Three would fix this or even care, i myself work in customer service and would be ashamed and embarrassed to be any part of an interaction like this.
For 6 years I was with EE and never had any issues with connectivity or calls, to save some money I swapped to Three and boy do I regret this decision nearly daily! In busy areas like cities and towns the 4G internet just does not work and I always have 0 bars in my home town and work town! I can't wait to switch back to EE! I would rate 0 out of 5 if I could!
I have been a customer of Three for 9 years. Been living abroad in the past years, but keep paying my monthly 10£ for just in case traveling free roaming package they used to have… came to UK few weeks ago. And was not able to use my data. From Dover to Ascot to Donington festival where the phone was completely out of network for 5 days. To be in full center London, waterloo train station to Oxford road and not been able to send a Pic via iMessage or load a map or open a page. Spent 45 on the phone with CS and useless. Went to EE popped in a new SIM card and problems solved… in few months when I plan expires. Guess who will get a new customer EE that is!
Oh my days. And I thought the uneducated customer service (in India) could not get any worse. I just asked the woman I spoke to from India customer service for a deadlock letter as I've exhausted everything with them, and they are not able (as always) to deal with my complaint. I knew straight away (because of how uneducated these people are) that she wouldn't even know what a deadlock letter is. So I asked her if she even knew what one was, she replied... a letter you get from debt collectors... I told her to just put me through to the complaints dept which I did ask from the start but she wanted to know (as always) what I wanted to speak to them about. These people always create more problems for the problems you already have. If you are thinking about joining three? Think again. Seriously.
Every customer service human at three are thick as s.h.i.t
I've NEVER come across any customer service in my life as stupid as these people.
Great Service and awesome deals right now. Their feel at home offers are insane. Thank you as you have saved me a fortune over the last couple of years. I cant recommend these guys enough especially if you travel alot like me!
Be warned! I purchased a sim only deal for 12 months contract in August 2020. My internet speeds were less than 1mbps. When i called Three customer service they told me to call back tomorrow and ended the call. After 10 days of calling, i finally got to speak to someone. They said they were having issues with a mast and would be fixed in 4 weeks. I asked if i could cancel my contract without paying fees and they assured me i could as i could not get any internet at a reasonable speed. I switched mobile network, and now i am getting at least 10 calls a day from Three demanding £180. Then the letters started, and now they have put a debt collection agency on to me who are pestering me around 5 times a day.
Please, stay away from this company.
Find someone else, i know Three are cheap, but when things dont work out, no matter what they promise you... its just going to end up nasty.
I became a customer of Three just over two years ago when I entered into a 2-year contract for a multi-sim and internet dongle. The network is fine for about 3 - 4 months then just cuts out every other day so you're essentially paying for a few pieces of plastic that do absolutly nothing. Basically just put them aside and kept paying until my contract ended as the customer service is none existent.
They will tell you that the contract won't auto-renew. However, this is a lie. The people in the store are worse than the ones on the phone, if you can get past the automated phone line... Press 3 to cancel contract, Press 1 to upgrade.
Absolutely horrendous. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.
Having a horrendous time with three, keep getting conflicting emailing from them, I've returned the home broadband to them, got the proof, even email from three saying thanks for the return, now yet again another email saying they haven't received the return, bloody awful. Am fed-up, and trying to chat over the phone to them is even worse. It's causing me great anxiety and stress.
They lying to customers, don't use this company, you gone overpay. Had contract and at the end they offer me new 7£ pounds per month, sounds good, but in real they starts charge me 19£ and for cancellation now i havve to pay 60.30£ Worst company what i ever used before.
Signal is bad in most part off uk.
Would give less if I could.
Quality of services provided is a disgrace their broadband never works too the capacity it says It can. Getting in contact with customer support is nearly impossible once you are able to the staff name you jump through unnecessary hurdles to tell you they can't help. They will chase you for money that you don't owe them too. I have a balance of £5 which I have been told by 4 different advisors at 4 different times that I don't need to pay as it's a then error but 3 months later I still get emails and phone calls telling me I owe the company £5.
I have wasted about 15hrs of my life attempting to contact 3 to resolve a very simple issue of returning an item and the issue is still ongoing.
All the advisors are foreign and probably not paid a single penny for there work all in all an awful company.
Avoid at all costs pathetic company
Answer: The company is a legit scam for sure. Bernie Madoff Ponzi scheme.
Answer: Simply dreadful! The love cutting you off if you ring with a complaint.
