I enjoyed doing the course more because of the support I received from the staff especially from my personal tutor Miss Kerry Page, she is always there to answer any questions and she constantly check up on me to see how I'm doing.
I paid £1299 upfront for TQUK Level 3. This is a recognised qualification in England but NOT in Scotland. The Training Room are aware of this but do not disclose it. When I contacted customer services I was informed that it was MY RESPONSIBILITY to check this before I paid for it. As a good will gesture they offered me an extra certificate in anti bullying in schools which is not recognised in Scotland either. IF YOUR SCOTTISH I WOULD AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE. I have been duped out of £1299. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.

I received a 1:0 in university, I study as a hobby but this course is SHOCKING. No support from tutors, first initial phone call was incredible (at conning me). Please avoid!
Best decision of my life was to go on this course. I've got my dream job within the space of 6 weeks. I can't stress how helpful Liz shaw is as well as the people I met within the classroom!

I attended the first day in which I had to leave just after lunch as I was extremely unwell from an ongoing medical condition, I was then unable to attend the course, after speaking with the training rooms they advised as I had turned up it then meant I had to pay for the course, or attend any other, by this time they had stopped the course in Liverpool, I was advised I would have to attend Manchester, I agreed, 3 days before the course was due to commence I had an email advising they would no longer be running the beauty course, but again I would still need to pay! I'm summary I will be paying nearly £3000 for half a day
Used the training room to get my level 2 & 3 fitness qualifications, content was great and easy to access.
Had Claire as my tutor and was a great help throughout the process.

COMPLETE SCAM - I signed up with The Training Room to begin a Software Development course. I then had second thoughts about my ability to complete the course. During a telephone conversation with The Training Room, they advised me to not make any rash decisions about withdrawing from the course and I WAS TOLD TO ACCESS THE ONLINE STUDY MATERIALS BEFORE DECIDING TO WITHDRAW FROM THE COURSE. When I contacted them to confirm I did not want to continue with the course, they said - 'BECAUSE YOU HAVE ALREADY ACCESSED THE ONLINE STUDY MATERIALS, YOU ARE NOW LIABLE TO THE FULL £3000 TUITION FEES.'
Kerry is always there if I need to ask any questions and willing to help. Going above and beyond to ensure I have all the information I need to continue with my course.
I done there security ethical hacking course and relieved no help along the way never had any of there services and asked my tutor David for advice I was told to read it and read it again that's what I paid for thanks for that never had any help from there career or CV services and funny how the company doesn't have a customer services number so you can't complain then I study on my own the final video assent crashed loads of times and you have to restart from the beginning completed after about a week then comes to the exam I couldn't get the correct exam code then was told by David the best tutor ever that I had to sort it with comptia IT what the hell am I actually paying for avoid this company there only after your money

I had a really positive experience with the Training Room. I loved the flexibility of the course and the atmosphere of the group. The tutors were great and enabled and supported my progression.
I joined the Training Room back in October to complete my Teaching Assistant course TQUK level 3. The sign up and enrolment was easy and before I knew it I was on my way.
I have loved the course although I have found it tough at times as I had no experience in the childcare sector at all. I had to learn everything as it was all new to me.
The experience and the learning has been amazing as my teachers in the school I had my placement could see the amount of work, time and effort going in to the course and the detail needed but don't let this phase you it's all so worth it.
Megan has been a fabulous tutor and I can't thank her enough for the time, support and guidance she has given, to help me achieve my goal as a TA even when I was finding it tough she's been there.
Megan's feedback was in depth and I could see where I was missing detail or examples, also when the unit was signed off there would be extra resources to look up in that area to gain further knowledge.
I could contact Megan by email or phone and would have a quick response.
If your doing your TA Course ask for Megan!
She's fantastic and a book of knowledge.

Terrible experience. Was made to make a quick decision on whether I wanted to sign up to which I decided I would. Never regretted anything more! Don't sign up!
The tutor is rude and has no understanding of how to speak to students. Didn't have the relationship I would expect between a student and tutor. I was spoken down to a lot, every conversation was abrupt with no compassion towards me and how I might be feeling - not someone I would want to work with! They had come across really unprofessional. I was always left feeling worse after communication with my tutor.
The only professional experience I had which was good (although I never had the outcome I wanted) was with the complaints service - I guess they would need an excellent complaints service...
I have not been given the 2nd half of my course due to not finishing my 1st half in time (I've taken on the course elsewhere for free) however I wouldn't expect to have material withheld based on this! I'm now paying for a service I'm not receiving, although they have suggested I can pay for to extend the 1st term...

As part of the Professional IT course, this is segregated into two stages where all of our students have 12 months to complete each stage. This information is provided to all students with the Terms and Conditions.
Due to your progress to date, you have been offered the opportunity to extend your first course which will enable you to complete your first stage to then be able to progress onto your next stage.

I was promised course material and exam fees to be paid, even re-sits plus dedicated tutors to offer expert advise. I was unsure of signing up and was told I had 10 days to cancel. So I looked through the material and called to cancel within the 10 days but was advised i could not cancel because i opened the material. The tutor was none existent, I got an e mail reply directing me to online websites for help there was never any advice or knowledge shared by a tutor in the company. I had to make a complaint to the financial ombusman as the company refused to pay for an exam re-sit but after getting evidence of the call where the agent promised to cover re-sits the company had no choice to cover the cost. I passed 3 out of 4 exams I had to use 3rd party websites because the training room had no tutor to help me. I have about 1 year left in my contract and the company collect over £100 from my account each month but they are not offering me the career support they promised. I last received any contact from the company 4 months ago and they have never offered me any advice on finding work. I sent them my cv last year for advice and they replied to say 'yes that looks fine' they never offered any advice. I am currently making my second complaint to the financial ombusman as they have breached the terms of my agreement by not offering the support they promised.
My advice to anyone looking at this company would be stay away.

Answer: I have been taken to court by them when I refused to pay and I will have to pay over £5500 for their scammy training. It's unthinkable that Croydon County Court supported these criminals. Shame on you Croydon County Court but hey what can you expect from Croydon?!
