The Training Room

I have recently completed Leve 3 course with training room and had good experience. I was pleased and thankful for allowing extra time to complete course as it included placement to complete and Covid situation made it difficult to source placement. Special Thanks to my tutor Megan Ackrell for supporting and always being there for answering queries.
It's personal choice to go for online courses or attend face to face lectures but I felt in person would be better option as here you miss the connection and feels left alone through progression of course.

I have recently undergone the Level 2 and Level 3 in personal training. I would highly recommend The Training Room as your provider if you are looking to get into the Fitness and Personal training industry. The support from the careers adviser's and the knowledge and energy that the tutors bring is just what you need to get you into the industry. If you are based in the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire or any of the surrounding areas i would 100% advise getting over to the Reading training centre led by Amanda i have nothing but good words to say about her she is fantastic.

I got the news that I am a fully qualified PT yesterday and I am over the moon. My tutor Liz has been a massive help to me alone the way and I'm very grateful for her support.
I have enjoyed all aspects of this course and am now doing a CPD course as part of my package.
Couldn't recommend the course or Liz herself, enough!

When searching for PT courses online I come across the Training Room, I then inquired about what they could offer me and they got back to me with a lot of information. I also looked at some other organisations but they didn't offer what I was looking for, so I chose to go with the Training Room. This was the right choice because I work full time so therefore wasn't able to commit to a full time classroom based course, so I was able to do home learning at my own pace.
My tutor was a guy named Luke Crossley and he was amazing to be honest. He provided me with a lot of help and guidance and responded to emails more or less straight away. If you end up with him as your tutor you will definitely do well!
As for the loan agreement etc I have had no problems with that at all, I was able to get an interest free loan and I pay back a set amount each month, with the option of calling them if I want to pay a big chunk off.

I completed the Software developer course and am now Microsoft Systems expert along with my Oracle OCA Java and now work as a Java programmer earning £28k.

I am so thankful to the training room as they supported me all they way and made it easy for me to get through the material in three months and start my role.

I would recommend them to anyone looking to get into the IT industry as they provide the right qualifications that employers are looking for all around the world and the support is excellent with a permanent job at the end. It's the best decision I have made in my life!

I signed up to the training room to complete my level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Training qualification, they were able to offer me a great deal which included the Level 4 strength and Conditioning and Level 4 Nutrition qualification. The service has been excellent from first contact. My tutor Claire Smith has broken down the course to manageable workloads, is very prompt at marking my submitted work, replies quickly to any questions and gives me all the relevant information to help me pass. The course content covered is delivered by a user friendly online platform as im doing it via distant learning, while my tutor Claire provides additional learning material to help with the course learnings.
Very happy so far with the course and really enjoying learning with the Trainingroom.

Signed up for a PT course which I was fully committed to. Had issues signing into the portal, something which if you do voids any rights you have about cancellation which nobody advised me about until after I said I couldn't partake. After 4 days of issues i advises I couldn't take part in the course due to personal circumstances and still tried to convince me to stay. I maintained I couldn't do the course, even offered to waive my singing up fee, something I'm not bothered about, and still they hounded me saying I have to do the course as I logged onto the portal, albeit with issues and now I have to continue the payments. Well I'm not, I'm financially unable to keep up with the payments which I've told you number plus times yet nobody listens or understands or wants to help

Asked to cancel within my 14 days, this was completely ignored and have been threatened to pay if I don't they will take legal action

The Training Room is a really great choice for getting your Level 2 and 3 PT qualifications. I did the full time 5 week course and it has everything in it to get you going as a PT. Classroom always had a really friendly casual atmosphere so I was always looking forward to coming back and the material provided is really useful and in depth. Our tutor Jenna was amazing and effective in both delivering good content while still being approachable and providing a chilled out environment to learn. A lot of this course rests on your own individual hard work and is by no means a guarantee of being instantly inundated with job offers when completed. But if you have the motivation to complete the course then the Training Room has more than enough support to train you till you're confident in your coaching abilities. I've learned a lot from this course and can't recommend it highly enough as well as the professionalism and charisma of the training staff like Jenna, Martin and Darren. After finishing my first course through The Training Room (Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning) I still wasn't having much sucess reaching out to my assigned Career Support Officers (CSO). I felt like I was chasing my tail and not getting anywhere. My tutor gave me the name of another CSO, Beth. Straight away, she responded in a timely manner to my e-mails, and was more than helpful. In less than a week, she has reviewed my CV, and passed it onto Corporate Partners, so I can be contacted for any suitable roles in my local area. I can't thank her enough for all her support.
My tutor also has been a great support, responding to my emails in a timely manner, and giving me guidance, to lead me to the right areas.

The training room was amazing at signing me up, nothing, literally nothing, was too much; I received regular calls, so many that I actually recognised the number on my mobile, to find out how things were going, did I need any further information and/or assistance.
I have actually never written a review in my life but if I can help prevent anyone from making the same mistake I made, then it is worth it. THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD IF YOU HAVE LOGGED ON. It would appear that there are no extenuating circumstances which allow you to withdraw, even within the first 14 days, if you have logged on, so if the cost of the course is in anyway a money breaker, think twice and read the terms and conditions fully.

I finished the "Professional Network Specialist Course" with them recently and for the price, the support they offer is quite poor. The reading material is okay (quite a few mistakes in the practice tests though) but the tutor did not pay a lot of attention when talking about the subject and seemed like he hadn't read the course material I was given. In the beginning, I tried seeking help but constantly I was left more confused after talking to him than before so I continued studying on my own and passed the exams from the first try. Later I moved on to the job support they offer. It was pretty much the same. They didn't offer anything that a quick Google search won't provide, as the information about how to write your CV, cover letter and so on - they literally just sent me a word file with instructions I had already found online myself and that was it. Then, in a month and a half, they helped with job hunting by twice sending me an email with 5 links to 5 job offers and most of them were not really applicable to me. In the end, I am left feeling a bit scammed as their salesperson promised way more support than what they provided and for the money, I gave them for said "support" I probably could've paid for one or two more courses and certification exams.
