A very long time ago, I shopped on The Outnet and my experience was fine so I didn't think twice about shopping on the site again in early December. I ordered a pair of pants that didn't fit the way I was hoping so I returned them. They received my return Dec. 23rd and still haven't processed it. I have emailed twice and both times received BS responses that really didn't have anything to do with the return not being processed. I'm going to have to dispute this with my CC. I took screen shots of my account on their website that proves they received the item. This is ridiculous. I will never buy from them again and I made sure they know that (not that they care).
Have never come across such a hard difficult frustrating method used to return goods. What's wrong with using the post office. Navigating the dhl website is frustrating and premium rate telephone and the local off drop off isn't local. Far to far to travel. Make sure your order is going to fit you before you place your order as it's an experience You will not want to go through. NEVER again, I've Unsubscribed, it's not worth the hassle
I bought a pair of Tod's sandals from the Outnet and one of the soles fell off after less than 10 wears over a period of less than 6 months. If it wasn't the inherent quality of the sandals, it could have been because the shoes were kept for too long before they were put on clearance on too long, causing the glue to dry up.
Before my most recent order, I've had a few pleasant experiences with The Outnet.
However, on my recent order, I ordered a pair of shoes that were in UK size. As I was unfamiliar with the UK sizing, I used the international size chart converter on The Outnet. It was only after placing my order that I realised that their size chart converter was so off...
So 11 minutes after placing my order, I rushed to cancel it. When customer service replied a few hours later, they simply informed me that it was too late for them to cancel my order, while giving me a very vague response.
From this experience, I believe that customer service didn't even bother to check if it was possible for them to cancel my order, especially because my item was only shipped out two days later. Furthermore, there's a $7.95 charge on returns.
Lesson learnt, I shouldn't have shopped on impulse The Outnet because they make things difficult for their customers. I personally feel that it wasn't entirely my fault because The Outnet provided incorrect information, which I used. The Outnet also clearly has an incompetent / lazy customer service.
This company has a terrible customer service ever! Bought a trouser, received with a hole in it, immediately contacted the customer service. The only answer they given me it was my own fault. Like I want a trouser with a hole in it?! Never buy from this company again!
I am really shocked with the service. I bought boots and noticed after 5 min that I may have ordered the wrong size ( as the confirmation email does not state the sizing...) and I called and asked that they change the size and they said it is too late, not possible! After 5 minutes... seriously...
Hence, i will have to return the boots once received, and i am looking the shipping fee in there. I told the customer service person I would chargeback, and she says I can... Chargeback is very costly for companies but no one cares anyhow... this is so unflexible... and makes me think that nothing is better than a real shop... and of course, no one caring about my request... or the follow up email i sent them. I will never buy with them again
I have placed an order and the customer care MRS Margaux cancelled my order. She didn't listen me. I have said her to call me but no. She turned a deaf ear... I was desappointed to see how much this site is more and more bad...
I'll never buy on the site...
This experience's shopping was so bad... Negative
I just got off the phone with a fellow staff at the Outnet. He could not have been more helpful or kinder.
This morning almost 10 am Tuesday of August 27th, 2019, I ordered an item at the Outnet Online--via a connection through Town&Country website.
An hour later, I reopened and tried to order another item.
Somehow, this time "the access was denied--no matter how often I tried again".
I decided to call the Outnet 888 number and the fellow gentleman helped me locate the item, place the order, and so forth by twelve noon of the same day.
I talked on the phone with many customer-service people from so many places, this gentleman from the Outnet is among the best. He was very polite and professional.
Thank you kindly for the wonderful assistance. Sincerely from Tanintara
I am very surprised with the bad reviews! I just received my first order. And it was even better than I expected.
The costume service was very friendly and helpful.
The price was good and very fast shipping.
I am looking forward for the next order.
Absolutely dreadful service. Ordered sunglasses, took days and days to arrive and they were then marked as delivered and signed for by someone i have never heard of and i have not received the parcel.
I personally would not use the site again, i have never received such appalling service from anywhere.
I had have only but good experiences with The OutNet. I have ordered twice only but both times I have been very satisfied with my products. The service has been phenomenal. They even upgrade me to comp. Express shipment (without me asking) when my order got delayed. So far they have been great.
I ordered 2 items (a bag and a pair of shoes) and because the total reached a certain amount, I was charged tax for them, which I accepted. They canceled the shoes without telling me ahead of time, and proceeded with the sale of the bag. But the tax they charged was for BOTH the shoes and the bag! I've returned the bag with the assurance that they will refund the cost of bag along with the tax they collected. Now they're refusing to refund the tax. Mind you, this is tax for both the bag and shoes--the sale of the shoes did not even push through because they cancelled it themselves. WHAT A SCAM.
In looking for the perfect gift, i came across theoutnet.com. After searching for the right cashmere sweater and linen pants for my fiancé I ordered them. The size I selected was based on their size chart. It's misleadingly wrong, the outfit is too small. I contacted them and they said they understand the chart is misleading and that's why the have another chart with actual measurements.
Who measures another person for Christmas gifts? Why do they have a chart that is admittedly misleading but the refuse exchanges or refunds?
Their service is poor. They are about short term selling and not long term customers. I've been spoiled by Nordstrom, LL Bean and others with customer service.
Avoid this site unless you take accurate, intimate measurements first... and even then, good luck.
My dresses arrive with marks/stains on the front. Customer service on the phone was a NIGHTMARE. The only good thing that happened was getting my money back. I will never shop with this company again.
I looked for my Rick Owens dream wedding dress for a year to no avail. No one had ordered it in a light color. Then it appeared on the Outnet. Buying from a new site, I feared it may be Nigerian scam, or might arrive with make-up on it, but saw they were hooked up with Net-a-Porter, who is great.
It just arrived. I am smiling ear to ear. It is real. So beautiful. Carefully wrapped in tissue, then inside a garment bag, and they included a little Outnet tote bag. So great. Ounet is like Pret a Porter Ross Dress for Less, where you don't have to leave home and everything is organized for you. I am now addicted to this site.
Thank you Outnet!
I received the incorrect item (wrong item and size). I returned the item.
I was informed my item had been received and a refund had been made. That was 16 days ago and my refund of £120 has not been received. Quite shocked really.
My first purchase was a pair of lanvins. I bought it on a saturday night, and got it by monday afternoon, and i live in Singapore. Great great job, i must say. Even some local e-shops don't ship that fast (esp over a weekend). Read the invoice that UK taxes were still included despite it being sent overeseas. If they can do away with that, they'll get 5stars from me ((:
I had an issue with Outnet and the customer service wasn't nice at first. I wrote them again and I got a sincere apology with offer for full refund. I am satisfied with the customer care now.
I just hope they inpect the product more carefully in the future.
I did an online chat w customer service at Outnet to ask if a coat I wanted to buy would be marked down soon. They said no. I ordered the coat and before I received it, Outnet marked it down 70% and sold out of it. When I asked for a price adjustment they said no. I spoke to Angie, Rachelle and Greg in Customer Service. They leave you on hold forever and disconnect you. Finally they told me to return the coat. Terrible customer service.
Delivery promised on the Monday, emails promising on UPS trucks Monday, Wednesday and Friday! I called them on Thursday and they said no way is it coming today but Friday! Ten minutes later it came - Thursday! UPS didn't know when it was coming and the OUtnet simply didn't care one way or the other. They are awful people. I know we are all in lockdown but expecting a person to stay in for a promised delivery three full days in a week is outrageous
I love Alexander Wang and his designs are breathtaking. I am so happy I found theoutnet because they have alexander Wang for 50% off almost all of his current designs. His items almost never go on sale. Wonderful website and great prices.
Answer: Yes. U cannot sell used, none branded products and advertise u are a registered dealer and all items are shipped in original designer packaging when they are not. It's called bait and switch and it is FRAUD!
Answer: Idk. They come without the correct packaging and several comments suggest manufacturer defects that lessen the product value upon inspection. I am not a product authenticator.
Answer: They could be authentic but not properly packaged. I suggest the others who comment that it is authentic have not had them checked for defect or other by an authentication expert. I would say buyer beware. The Jimmy Choo boots I received were obviously previously wore so not brand new and did not come with the Choo box, packaging, or tags. Just a pair of boots tossed in a plain white box with a piece of tissue paper.
Answer: NOT POSSIBLE TO RETURN AND EVEN IF YOU SUCCEED YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE A REFUND
Answer: I cannot answer for all of their handbags, but the one I ordered was definitely authentic.
Answer: My dress from Tory Burch was not. For sure!
