I ordered a Nikon D7200 last year from their website. Like everyone else here claims, I received a call and talked to Brice. I don't have a complaint about the transaction so much, but the camera. I received it in a timely manner, but it, and the 18-140mm lens that came with it, were packaged in generic brown boxes with a photocopied black and white product label taped to each. The camera looked in good shape, but had a few scratches on the case. Also, there wasnt a product manual with it, which I thought was odd. I should have called to complain then since it was obviously a used model, but it seemed to work okay, so I didn't. Within taking the first batch of pictures, I noticed spots in the pictures that would indicate a dirty sensor- something that generally happens after using it for several months. The local camera service shop that I took it to get it cleaned said that it must have been used previously to accumulate the dirt that was on the sensor within the couple weeks I had owned it.
The listed deal on their website was better than others, but spend your money somewhere else with someone that is a legitimate dealer. Wish I had.
I ordered a Nikon D5500 camera (body only), in the description it was the WiFi version. Come to find out after calling to confirm my order their product description is misleading. I talked with a rep who then tried to say the $399 camera I ordered was really $550. Be very careful ordering from this website.
When I went to ask about a camera, they lied about the camera being in stock and they started yelling at me and said "what are you 12 years old?" And I asked to speak to the manager and they said that they were the manager and HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME! Oh, and also, they work for another "website" because when I called the website, it was the SAME GUY! Absolute scam! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS PIECE OF TRASH WEBSITE WITH TRASH PEOPLE!
I wish I had checked out this organization with the BBB prior to placing my order. They also operate under the name More4LessDigital.com.
I placed an order on 2/23/17 for a Canon 7D MKII for $949.00 from BigTimeCamera.com. After placing the order, I received an e-mail asking me to call *******113 and Ext #1 and to ask for Bruce. I do so, he tells me this camera is not in ENGLISH. Its an overseas or Import model. He assures me they have the lowest market price. Bruce tells me the camera does not come with a battery. I agreed to a new price of $1,248.00. I paid for expedited shipping (which he waived), which turned into extra batteries a 3 year product warranty on a very generic, lump sum invoice for $1,448.00.
I immediately called the company back on 2/23/17 and could not get anyone. I e-mailed, no responses. This morning, 2/27/17 I searched the web for reviews and I was devastated to read not one positive review. The BBB ratings are worse.
I called my bank today, 2/27/17 and initiated a fraud claim. Absolutely do not do business with these people.
I ordered Nikon D5500, but after 10 days passed and I didn't receive it I called to check what's going on.So the guy said it's not on stack and I need to wait 20 more days. Well when I put my order the website didn't said that the camera is out of stack. Its been a month since I ordered And I found all those reviews now.So guess what? Im going to call the $#*!ers tomorrow to cancel my order and I'm gonna wish them good luck with the crappie business
Black Friday Sales showed Nikon D5500 body for 399.00. A package deal for 499.00. I ordered the pkg. Then get an email to call and press #1 for BRUCE. I do so, he tells me this camera is not in ENGLISH. Its an overseas model. Cannot say what language it is. Has no battery, or WIFI. I need to pay an extra 150.00 to get an ENGLISH model and the battery. From reading previous complaints this is their way to get extra money from you. I wrote to Better Business Bureau and YES they are RUDE.
Wanted to order a camera and found the best price on their website. I saw all the reviews here, so I called just for fun and it was just as the others stated. They were rude, and insisted that the camera I wanted to buy didn't have a battery. When I said I already had a battery and then questioned if it was a "US version" the guy got very rude, screamed something that I couldn't even understand he was so belligerent, and then hung up on me.
Ordered Olympus stylus tg-4 on referral from sales person while I was on the sight and phone at same time. Camera does not perform as was represented by Jerry. He said there was no battery included in camera. So I bought a battery that was unneeded. He sold me a charger saying there was not one included. The one sent is for AA battery's that the camera does not use. When I called to address this and said I wanted to return all of it he said 15% restock fee. Email states 20% plus shipping. When I told him I was talking to him while I was on site to do order he said I put the order in on net and he had nothing to do with it. I have lost not only the 100 on restock and shipping but still was charged for things I didn't need because he said I did.
Ridiculous this can't be stopped. This has been going on for years, how can they be allowed to do this? I want to know if these are the same guys... New york accent... Says "sir, sir, sir" a lot when you are talking.
They are scammers. Just called to ask about a deal on their site. As soon as I mentioned the deal I heard Out of Stock and the person hung up. I don't know how they would do business with that kind of attitude.
After you order they will call and tell you, you ordered a non USA version and then try and sell you at hundreds of more dollars the USA version.
This place should be shut down, scam artist at there best.
I ordered a D810 and accessories. Camera was delivered, but $500 worth of accessories were not, including a battery holder. I disputed with my credit card company, and Big Time Crooks claimed that they sent the package. Also, the invoice was not itemized properly. The invoice listed the total price and the items that I ordered, but the prices were not listed for the items. This is a cheap stunt to prevent invoice disputes.
Stay way from this company. They are liars and cheaters and are only interested in taking your money. I ordered a camera from them online and was told batteries don't come with cameras and if you didn't buy the one they had the warranty would not honored if the cheap battery you buy online didn't work. Price? 3x more than the exact same battery online. The camera came in a generic box, no warranty and no instructions. Refurbished? Used? Nikon told us their new cameras always come with a battery, a warranty and instructions. The Big time camera store said they would send them but we never got them. They overcharged me but because they didn't send me an itemized receipt I had no proof. They have the scamming down Big Time. Guess that's where the name comes from. They are horrible to deal with. Stay away!
We didn't read the reviews of this place and lost about $200. They sold us a used camera as new and wouldn't take it back without the restocking fee. They are crooks and run more than just this company. I wish I lived close enough to pay them a personal visit...
I purchased a camera from the website for $158.00. A couple of days later, I received a phone call from customer service informing stating that they needed to confirm my order, and let me know that the camera didn't come with a battery. They sold me a battery over the phone for $29.99. When I received my camera, the enclosed invoice was for $228. When I called customer service I was informed that the battery was actually $34.99 and the charger was $34.99. I informed the rep that I didn't agree to the charger and he told me that I could return the camera, batteries, and charger for a refund minus a 15% fee. I informed him that I did not want to return the camera, just the items that I didn't order. He informed me that it was all or nothing. After reading the other reviews, it is apparent that this company has some very questionable practices.
I ordered a Nikon because the price was good. Their website said they'd send a confirmation email. No email arrived, and I was unable to check my transaction on their site. A day or two later "Jerry" called me to say that the camera was out of stock but would be in tomorrow and did I want to wait? Sure, no problem. Then Jerry told me that I had forgotten to order a battery (there is NO indication online that cameras don't come with a battery.) I ordered one, adding $18.99 to my $129.99 purchase. The camera arrived today,(the box lists a battery as coming with the camera from Nikon, by the way) with an invoice listing the cheap junk they sent with it that I didn't order (a case that doesn't fit the phone, some q-tips, a cloth and lens spray, a crummy little tripod, and a card reader/transfer device that looks like it came out of a bubble-gum machine at the dollar store.) None of the prices on the bundle of junk were itemized, nor was the camera price. At the bottom a line reads "Bundle package Includes" -- again, I did not order a bundle -- with a subtotal price of $178.95. With the camera and the battery, the price should have been just under $150.00. Shipping was supposedly free, and there's no tax. There's a box at the bottom of the invoice marked "Company Policy" that includes gems like: "Any cancelled orders are subject to a MINIMUM cancellation fee of 10%," "All returns are subject to a MINIMUM restocking fee of 15%," "If you refused a delivery or if a product is returned to us because you provided un-deliverable shipping address, re-stocking fee of 20% plus $15 refused delivery fee will be deducted," and so on.
Wish I had read these reviews before giving my credit card number to these scumbags. My next stop'll be the Better Business Bureau.
I won't waste time with a full story. Just read the other reviews. These "people" are big time scam artists. Don't buy from these crooks.
I purchased an Olympus TG-4 camera from these people based on them offering the lowest price. After placing the order I was sent an email to call them about my order. I spoke with a person named Jerry who told me that the black camera was not in stock (sound familiar), but would a red one be ok. I agreed to the color change. He then proceeded to tell me that no battery or charger was included and would I want to purchase them (I spoke with Olympus directly after realizing I've been had and find they do ship these items as part of their standard package). I did not agree to the battery purchase and I was not aware they were sending the charger.
When my camera arrived I found out I was charged an additional $90 for the battery and charger and included fees for "insurance & handling"
I tried to speak with this Jerry and he was extremely rude and unresponsive to my concerns.
I am currently disputing those additional charges through my credit card company.
I will NEVER do business with these people again. They misrepresent what you are getting and, in my opinion, are frauds!
I just wish I would have seen the SiteJabber site before duing business with these thieves!
Jerry sent my daughter 2 emails to call and confirm purchase. Strange! You don't ever have to confirm. I called and immediately asked if this was standard and he replied no, my daughter ordered the Turkish version of a camera instead of the US model. I could tell he was annoyed just to be talking to me so I gave him the same respect he gave me. I didn't trust his attitude after talking with him and said to just cancel my order. I asked for a confirmation number and he said yeah, hold on. Then he screamed Helllooo?! I said who are you talking to like that. I asked for his manager and he replied that he is the manager. He then proceeded to call me rude and said I'll get a confirmation number sent to me later. Of course after hanging up I went to write a review and came across this business on the better business bureau. Guess what their score is? An F! Complaints about products not working properly and overcharged. Do not buy from them!
