I bought a an item from here due to their good prices and online reviews. This was a mistake as the reviews I read were on THEIR website. They state free shipping, however they do show in their terms and conditions there is shipping insurance charged. Okay fine. They did not have the color I choose in stock and asked if I wanted another- I said no. They asked if I wanted the higher model and they'd give it to me for their price "to make me happy" They lied, they charged me $10 more than their own listed price. I never received a receipt via email. Only a receipt in the box which was $40 more with nothing itemized except a "bundle price". I called for a refund and they wanted to send me a memory card instead. I said no. This was a few days ago and I'm still waiting for my refund. I know they are lying about the cost of taxes and insurance cost as my family sells online for our living. Do not buy here!

I tried to order a Nikon camera that was $80 less than anywhere else on the internet. It also said that I would be getting some accessories, for free (bag, tripod, etc.). After I placed the order on a Friday, I kept checking for a confirmation that never came. I called the company on a Monday, and they told me that my order had shipped and that they would be sending me an email with the tracking #. They also asked me if I wanted a battery as that was not included. I chose not to purchase the battery as I could get it much cheaper myself but thought it strange that the camera would not come with one. I waited another day, and still no email. When I called them back to ask for tracking info, I was informed that my camera was on backorder for 2 - 3 weeks. I mentioned that I was told on Monday that it had been shipped, they said there must have been an error. So, far, my credit card has not been charged, so as long as they don't, then I will just consider it a lesson learned. I should have checked the other SiteJabber reviews first prior to dealing with this company.

I ordered a camera online for a great price through their website on Thursday, and they emailed me to confirm the order the next day. They told me to call them in the email in order to confirm it, and the order wouldn't get confirmed until I call them. Unfortunately, I actually have a job and have trouble finding time to call them during their hours. When I finally got a few minutes of a break, I called them to confirm the order, but I never reached anybody, I was just on hold for five minutes. I tried later the same day with the same result. I emailed them and asked if I could just confirm my order online, but I never got a response, even though I emailed three times. When I finally got somebody, they told me that the camera didn't come with any of the necessary equipment (Battery, battery charger, memory) and that I would have to buy them separately, then they put me on hold. They wanted to charge me an extra $140 for what comes with the camera anywhere else! I will never even visit the website again. This company should not be in business.

I ordered a camera for $239 and the description said a battery/charger was included. I never, ever received an email confirmation despite emailing multiple times, no response. I called and Jerry said there was no battery with it, and I stupidly agreed to a $29.99 battery. They charged me $318.95 and sent the wrong color camera! I called again and they said to return the entire box, not just battery/charger as Jerry first told me to do. And they had to receive within 7 days ($40 shipping)! Then they would credit $318.95 and there is a restocking fee, too?! What a scam to charge $79.95 for battery and charger that you didn't order! What a ripoff! Don't buy from them. The customer service was atrocious!

BEWARE
February 26, 2016

I ordered a camera from Big Time Camera for my daughter's bday. I wanted to make sure it showed up on time so I paid an extra $40.00 for 2 day shipping. I received an email from a man named Jerry stating that I needed to call him to confirm my order. When I called Jerry he explained that he needed the last 3 digits on the back of my credit card. I gave him the information that he was needing(which was also given at the time I placed my order) I asked Jerry if the camera would still be here within the next 2 days and his reply was " NO WAY"! I asked him why not, especially since I paid for it to be. He stated that it was not his fault and was very rude. I told him to just refund my 40.00 shipping payment and to just use the free standard shipping. He then replied with " let me do you a favor, Im just going to cancel your order for you" I told him NO I don't want the ordered cancel because it was a gift for my daughter and he said, I don't care if her birthday is ruined or not. That isn't my problem. I am the boss and I can do whatever I want. And you need to know your place as a women" I about came unglued. I have never been treated so horribly. Needless to say he refused to let me talk to his boss. I am so happy that he cancelled my order because I'd rather give my hard working money to a business that appreciates its customers. Please beware of this company.

Beware-Nikon S7000
February 22, 2016

I was curious why I had to call to confirm order. Jerry said he needed my 3 digit code. Then it sounded like he said it did not come with a battery would I like to buy one? I said forget it because I can get one down the street with a battery. Then he said it does come with a battery -this was a back up one. When I said ok to the camera order then, he said "too late" he had already cancelled order. Really? Felt like a missed a scam, so I feel ok it worked out this way.

Scammers!
January 27, 2016

If I could give a negative score I would! Lloyd is disrespectful and a liar! He said the Nikon 3700 does not come with a battery and charger although the box and paperwork says it does! He said I got the "overseas" version and was upsold to the "American" version. The Nikon box we received is "not the box you normally get from is. We send you a white box unless you order the battery and charger." When I confronted him with the fact the box says it comes with a charger he said, "I don't care what the box says." What the hell is that about! When I told him I was ripped off and wanted to return the product he said I will be charged a 15% restocking fee and return shipping. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau.

Jerry is Scum
January 25, 2016

Pretty much the same as everyone else. Was charged $100 more for a charger and a battery. Jerry claims it does not come with a battery. Then why does it say on the Nikon box "battery and charger included"?.

SCAMMERS!
January 15, 2016

I had the same experience as everyone else. I ordered a camera that was advertised on their website for $334. Took 5 days to get a confirmation email which requested that I call to confirm the order. When I called they asked if I meant to order a battery as they claim that one does not come with the camera. I agreed to order a battery which they said was $54.95. Got the order 4 days later and the invoice enclosed said they charged me $443.90! I called to tell them they overcharged me and was told that I was charged $54.95 for the battery and ANOTHER $54.95 for the charger (which I NEVER agreed to). When I attempted to return the camera for a refund they told me that there is a 20% restocking fee. They wanted to charge me nearly $90 plus shipping to return the camera. WHAT A RIPOFF!

I'm in the military and don't have alot of time to buy or research so. When my wife told me that she wanted this camera I looked it up online and found it on big time cameras for a good deal I bought it, a week later I hadn't heard anything from them about a tracking number so I called and they said it was shipping to day and asked if I ment to get batteries for it I asked it doesn't come with batteries. Jerry (the sales guy) said no but he could add one for 39.99 so I said yes. After thinking about it I looked it up and found it takes double AA. S so called them back they said we will refund it when you get it. Ok so I never got a tracking number still then when I got the camera it came with double AA's. Also the so called batteries and the extra charger I bought came together and was 12.00 on amazon, so I didn't even need them. And they billed me 80.00 extra. So I called actually talked to jerry and he lied out his $#*! saying that he upgraded me cameras and I was charged for the batteries and the Charger that came in the same package. And I'd gave to send back the hole thing in order to refund just the batteries. Huge scam. Will never use again and will be going on the military black list.

Also want to add that manager of bigtimecamera.com told me if you use regular double A batteries in Nikon camera it will void the warrantee. I called Nikon and they said this is not true. I called back to bigtimecamera and confronted him with this information and he insisted Nikon was not telling the truth. So again do not buy from Bigtimecamera.com unless you want to be ripped off and disappointed

A total scam operation
December 21, 2015

I had much the same experience as everyone else. I order a Nikon D7200 body for $775. They then called and said it was an import model with no warranty and that I needed to buy the US version (for $920) to get a warranty. They even told me my lenses would not fit the import model which I knew to be a lie. So I bought the US version for which they charged me $928. What I received was an import version in an open box with no warranty exactly what I had originally ordered for $153 less than what they charged me. Make note that Big Time Camera is a fraudulent front for More 4 Less Digital which is really in New York and Not Florida. Google "More 4 Less Digital" and you will understand why won't do business under their former name.

Major scam
December 10, 2015

I ordered a Nikon camera from their website for a low price. I received an email from them the following day requesting I call them. Their Rep informed me that I ordered the European version of the camera and not the USA version. The European version does not come with any accessories like a battery. This information was not on their website. He stated he would sell me the USA version that comes with a battery for a significantly higher price. I agreed, as the quoted price was still very low. I soon received a charge from more4lessdigital.com for a price substantially higher than the price quoted over the phone.

I received the Nikon Camera and discovered it was not a genuine USA Nikon camera. I requested a refund. Their Rep told me that the higher price was due to my being charged for shipping insurance and that I would have to pay a 15% restocking fee for the camera and for the shipping costs. If an item is returned, the free shipping is no longer free. He explained that all this was lay out on the "Terms & Conditions" portion of their website. I later discovered this to be true.

I sent the camera back to them months ago and have not received any type of credit from them. I never received an online invoice with order details.

I researched more4lessdigital.com, the company that charged my credit card for the camera, and discovered a wealth of negative reviews that goes back to 2010. Apparently, bigtimecamera.com is only one of many names more4lessdigital.com goes under.

Before ordering from this company, I found entirely positive reviews on ekomi-us.com. After my abysmal experience with this camera merchant, I discovered that ekomi-us.com has many bad reviews on them. They are criticized for not allowing negative reviews on their site so online merchants can sound better than they are. I was unable to post a negative review on this site.

If you are considering ordering from this company, read their online "Terms & Conditions" and reviews on more4lessdigital.com. You might also read reviews on the questionable practices of ekomi-us.com. If you see a camera deal that is too good to be true, it might be this online merchant going under another name.

This is a scam! I am a purchasing agent for a multi million dollar company and I can't believe I got scammed on a personal purchase. This company applied a $100 additional charge for a battery and charger that I did not agree to. They would not send me an order confirmation for a full week, and when they did send me one it did not include any relevant information (ie model numbers, price break downs, warranty information) and they backdated the document to two days before I even made the purchase on-line. I have filed a Regulation E with my credit card company to try to get my money back, and I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Horrible experience!
December 3, 2015

I was shopping for Black Friday deals and I found a good deal on their website. I placed my order but because I was unfamiliar with the site I took a screenshot of everything about my order. When I never received the confirmation email regarding my order, I got skeptical. When I called the company they agreed to send me the email and again never got it. At the same time that I requested the confirmation email the gentleman on the other end of the phone also asked me if I needed battery as he saw I did not order one. He told me it would be $39.99 for the battery for my camera. I agreed to it as I knew I needed one. Still not receiving a confirmation email I called the company a second time and did finally receive a email regarding tracking information only. When the camera came I realized that they had charged my credit card almost $100 more than what the price was that I paid for it. When I called the company they told me that I agreed to purchase a battery AND a charger which each cost $39.99. I did not agree to the charger. When I questioned their ethical ways, the manager spoke over me, got very defensive and rude, and threatened to hang up on me because I was angry. Apparently customer service is no longer a part of this company. I would be more willing to have paid $100 more for this camera from a reliable, friendly, and trustworthy site. Lesson learned!

I was looking for a specific camera and found it for a good price at Big Time Camera. The first warning sign was that they did not send an email acknowledging my order. When I called to ask why, they told me the camera did not come with a battery or charger -- a crucial point not mentioned on the site -- and the hard sell began. I declined because I had shopped the camera at other sites and I knew that other sites sold it with battery and charger included. Several days later, I still did not have an email confirmation of the order, so I called again. They told me it was back ordered, and there would be a 3 week wait. No one had advised me of this before I called, so I wised up and canceled the order.

Same issues for the same camera as noted above, Olympus TG-850.
Also, I order a Canon XS50HS on May 26th, 2014. Still fighting with my credit card company. Finally this company responded to my credit card company and said that I received the order, case closed. A package did arrive on June 20,2014 but without the Olympus camera and several of the other items they offered as part of their Memorial Day Sale Special. If still not convinced, simply do an internet search from any browser. There are enough complaints online to keep you reading for hours if not days. Simply search Thedigitalpros.com. Also if you are foolish enough still to buy from this company, understand this: your credit card will be billed by another. Com company. In my case it was "Moreforless.com".
And one final note: Beware of the credit card department for one of the largest USA retailers: CABELA's and their credit cards issues through "Foremost Bank".
I sent them a lot of information when I filed a claim against this company, they reviewed everything and refunded my money. Then the website sent a reply and simply said that they have confirmation a that I received a package from them. I had already explained this issue in my original complaint. The bank contacted me and basically said that I had lied to them and that they were recharging my credit card and I had 2 weeks to provide additional details or they would consider the matter closed. So I am now providing the original receipt, the modified receipt showing an amount charged to my credit card but not agreed to and about 50 pages of online complaints with the exact same issues that I have. And copying the links to several hundred more complaints. I have an excellent A+ standing with this credit card that I have had for almost 15 years. Their response to me is simply not acceptable! Oh yeah, if you order form this company, they will require you to call them and confirm your order. Then they will offer you a variety of options, they will not take no for an answer; and if you disagree with them, they will strong arm you (threaten you). Now you know... always buy from someone you trust or at least research to company online first. I always do but this time, our vacation was coming quickly and I skipped corners. Never Again. (period)

This company is a complete SCAM! It also operates under different names... AJRichie. I called to place an order on an Olympus Stylus Tough TG 850 which they are still advertising for $189.5 minutes after I placed the order I get a phone call telling me that the camera is out of stock but It was the foreign model that did not b
Come with a battery or a charger. But for 249 they could send me the English version of this camera and they woyld throw in a cleaning kit and case and a tripod. Something didn't sound right and they do not take calls on the weekend so I called first thing Monday morning after reading reviews of this company and after not receiving any email confirmation of this order. I said that I wanted to cancel my order as it had not yet been sent out. The rudest person I have ever spoken to in customer service says that I cannot cancel the order. I would have to pay a 10%cancellation fee and they had overcharged me and added sales tax even though they are supposedly in FL and I am in NY. They will only cancel your order if you agree to sign a form which states that you will not file a dispute with your credit card company! They are LIARS CHEATS AND SCAMMERS! Stay away I wish I had!
