I ordered a camera which said it was 'In Stock" and said "Free Shipping" I received no confirmation email so I called them. They said that it was out of stock but would be back in tomorrow, and they confirmed that it was free shipping, but that there was a shipping insurance fee of $20 ish dollars. I've never had any additional charges added to "Free Shipping" Free shipping should mean "FREE". It should have only been the price of the camera. I cancelled the order immediately. The customer support was very friendly until I asked him about the charge and cancelled the order. Then he said,"good luck finding it cheaper" then hung up on me.

A Big Ripoff!
June 2, 2016

I purchased an Olympus TG-4 camera from these people based on them offering the lowest price. After placing the order I was sent an email to call them about my order. I spoke with a person named Jerry who told me that the black camera was not in stock (sound familiar), but would a red one be ok. I agreed to the color change. He then proceeded to tell me that no battery or charger was included and would I want to purchase them (I spoke with Olympus directly after realizing I've been had and find they do ship these items as part of their standard package). I did not agree to the battery purchase and I was not aware they were sending the charger.

When my camera arrived I found out I was charged an additional $90 for the battery and charger and included fees for "insurance & handling"

I tried to speak with this Jerry and he was extremely rude and unresponsive to my concerns.

I am currently disputing those additional charges through my credit card company.

I will NEVER do business with these people again. They misrepresent what you are getting and, in my opinion, are frauds!

I just wish I would have seen the SiteJabber site before duing business with these thieves!

I bought a an item from here due to their good prices and online reviews. This was a mistake as the reviews I read were on THEIR website. They state free shipping, however they do show in their terms and conditions there is shipping insurance charged. Okay fine. They did not have the color I choose in stock and asked if I wanted another- I said no. They asked if I wanted the higher model and they'd give it to me for their price "to make me happy" They lied, they charged me $10 more than their own listed price. I never received a receipt via email. Only a receipt in the box which was $40 more with nothing itemized except a "bundle price". I called for a refund and they wanted to send me a memory card instead. I said no. This was a few days ago and I'm still waiting for my refund. I know they are lying about the cost of taxes and insurance cost as my family sells online for our living. Do not buy here!

He does Grey Market Purchases. Found out they weren't an authorized Fuji dealer. Reporting them to Fuji and the FBI I C3 Unit. Any unauthorized charge can be blocked on your card so if he tries making you buy batteries then proceeds to charge you after you tell him no, it is fraud. Their day is coming.

ABSOLUTE SCAM!
May 1, 2017

When I went to ask about a camera, they lied about the camera being in stock and they started yelling at me and said "what are you 12 years old?" And I asked to speak to the manager and they said that they were the manager and HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME! Oh, and also, they work for another "website" because when I called the website, it was the SAME GUY! Absolute scam! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS PIECE OF TRASH WEBSITE WITH TRASH PEOPLE!

They had a red NIkon P600 listed for 600. I ordered it. A couple of days passed, with no shipping notification. I called. Oh the red is out of stock would you like a black? Sure I said, no problem. When will that go out? Its in stock so tonight. Buy the way they said, this camera does not ship with a battery or a charger, would you like to buy that extra? How much, I ask. $39.95. No, I can buy two batteries and a charger on Ebay for $19.95. Three days pass no notice of any kind. I call back. Oh they say, the Camera is on Back Order until May 15. Thanks, I said, just cancel. My guess is when I did not order the overpriced battery, the camera suddenly went out of stock.

I ordered a camera for $239 and the description said a battery/charger was included. I never, ever received an email confirmation despite emailing multiple times, no response. I called and Jerry said there was no battery with it, and I stupidly agreed to a $29.99 battery. They charged me $318.95 and sent the wrong color camera! I called again and they said to return the entire box, not just battery/charger as Jerry first told me to do. And they had to receive within 7 days ($40 shipping)! Then they would credit $318.95 and there is a restocking fee, too?! What a scam to charge $79.95 for battery and charger that you didn't order! What a ripoff! Don't buy from them. The customer service was atrocious!

Order a camera from big time camera at a great price. They then asked me to call to verify payment details which I thought was kind of weird but whatever. Called in and at the end of the call he gave me the real price(150 bucks higher) than what i ordered from the website. He said that the camera i ordered was an asian model and it didn't have english menus(i later found out that that isn't even true) so i agreed to the higher price because he said he would through in an extra battery. (everywhere else the camera comes with the extra battery anyway so that was total crap) I also confirmed with him that I would get the camera kit, bag and other stuff that they advertised on the website and he said sure. Got the camera and none of the other stuff that was supposed to come with it. Emailed a couple of times with no response. Very dishonest and by the time I got everything i needed it cost more than all the other websites that sell the same camera.

I wish I had checked out this organization with the BBB prior to placing my order. They also operate under the name More4LessDigital.com.

I placed an order on 2/23/17 for a Canon 7D MKII for $949.00 from BigTimeCamera.com. After placing the order, I received an e-mail asking me to call *******113 and Ext #1 and to ask for Bruce. I do so, he tells me this camera is not in ENGLISH. Its an overseas or Import model. He assures me they have the lowest market price. Bruce tells me the camera does not come with a battery. I agreed to a new price of $1,248.00. I paid for expedited shipping (which he waived), which turned into extra batteries a 3 year product warranty on a very generic, lump sum invoice for $1,448.00.

I immediately called the company back on 2/23/17 and could not get anyone. I e-mailed, no responses. This morning, 2/27/17 I searched the web for reviews and I was devastated to read not one positive review. The BBB ratings are worse.

I called my bank today, 2/27/17 and initiated a fraud claim. Absolutely do not do business with these people.

Jerry is Scum
January 25, 2016

Pretty much the same as everyone else. Was charged $100 more for a charger and a battery. Jerry claims it does not come with a battery. Then why does it say on the Nikon box "battery and charger included"?.

Beware-Nikon S7000
February 22, 2016

I was curious why I had to call to confirm order. Jerry said he needed my 3 digit code. Then it sounded like he said it did not come with a battery would I like to buy one? I said forget it because I can get one down the street with a battery. Then he said it does come with a battery -this was a back up one. When I said ok to the camera order then, he said "too late" he had already cancelled order. Really? Felt like a missed a scam, so I feel ok it worked out this way.

Also want to add that manager of bigtimecamera.com told me if you use regular double A batteries in Nikon camera it will void the warrantee. I called Nikon and they said this is not true. I called back to bigtimecamera and confronted him with this information and he insisted Nikon was not telling the truth. So again do not buy from Bigtimecamera.com unless you want to be ripped off and disappointed

I ordered a Nikon D7200 last year from their website. Like everyone else here claims, I received a call and talked to Brice. I don't have a complaint about the transaction so much, but the camera. I received it in a timely manner, but it, and the 18-140mm lens that came with it, were packaged in generic brown boxes with a photocopied black and white product label taped to each. The camera looked in good shape, but had a few scratches on the case. Also, there wasnt a product manual with it, which I thought was odd. I should have called to complain then since it was obviously a used model, but it seemed to work okay, so I didn't. Within taking the first batch of pictures, I noticed spots in the pictures that would indicate a dirty sensor- something that generally happens after using it for several months. The local camera service shop that I took it to get it cleaned said that it must have been used previously to accumulate the dirt that was on the sensor within the couple weeks I had owned it.

The listed deal on their website was better than others, but spend your money somewhere else with someone that is a legitimate dealer. Wish I had.

A total scam operation
December 21, 2015

I had much the same experience as everyone else. I order a Nikon D7200 body for $775. They then called and said it was an import model with no warranty and that I needed to buy the US version (for $920) to get a warranty. They even told me my lenses would not fit the import model which I knew to be a lie. So I bought the US version for which they charged me $928. What I received was an import version in an open box with no warranty exactly what I had originally ordered for $153 less than what they charged me. Make note that Big Time Camera is a fraudulent front for More 4 Less Digital which is really in New York and Not Florida. Google "More 4 Less Digital" and you will understand why won't do business under their former name.

This is a scam! I am a purchasing agent for a multi million dollar company and I can't believe I got scammed on a personal purchase. This company applied a $100 additional charge for a battery and charger that I did not agree to. They would not send me an order confirmation for a full week, and when they did send me one it did not include any relevant information (ie model numbers, price break downs, warranty information) and they backdated the document to two days before I even made the purchase on-line. I have filed a Regulation E with my credit card company to try to get my money back, and I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

This store sells gray market goods. They will call the "overseas" models. They also practice bait and switch where they sell you a camera $60 cheaper than a retail store. FYI the average large retailer (with much larger buying power than this mom and pop shop) makes 8% margin on a digital camera, they make their money on the warranties. Bigtimecamera.com will call you after your purchase to tell you your color is not in stock. They will then tell you it does not come with a battery. They will lie and tell you a retail store only sells digital cameras with a "20 minute battery pack". They will sell you the "5 hour" battery for $25. After a few days they will tell you the camera is on back order and say you need to purchase the $60 AC cable or charger for the battery. If you balk at the scam or question the transaction they will charge you a 15-20% restocking fee. For more info about gray market goods visit fuji's website.

I was looking for a specific camera and found it for a good price at Big Time Camera. The first warning sign was that they did not send an email acknowledging my order. When I called to ask why, they told me the camera did not come with a battery or charger -- a crucial point not mentioned on the site -- and the hard sell began. I declined because I had shopped the camera at other sites and I knew that other sites sold it with battery and charger included. Several days later, I still did not have an email confirmation of the order, so I called again. They told me it was back ordered, and there would be a 3 week wait. No one had advised me of this before I called, so I wised up and canceled the order.

Scammers!
January 27, 2016

If I could give a negative score I would! Lloyd is disrespectful and a liar! He said the Nikon 3700 does not come with a battery and charger although the box and paperwork says it does! He said I got the "overseas" version and was upsold to the "American" version. The Nikon box we received is "not the box you normally get from is. We send you a white box unless you order the battery and charger." When I confronted him with the fact the box says it comes with a charger he said, "I don't care what the box says." What the hell is that about! When I told him I was ripped off and wanted to return the product he said I will be charged a 15% restocking fee and return shipping. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau.

SCAMMERS!
January 15, 2016

I had the same experience as everyone else. I ordered a camera that was advertised on their website for $334. Took 5 days to get a confirmation email which requested that I call to confirm the order. When I called they asked if I meant to order a battery as they claim that one does not come with the camera. I agreed to order a battery which they said was $54.95. Got the order 4 days later and the invoice enclosed said they charged me $443.90! I called to tell them they overcharged me and was told that I was charged $54.95 for the battery and ANOTHER $54.95 for the charger (which I NEVER agreed to). When I attempted to return the camera for a refund they told me that there is a 20% restocking fee. They wanted to charge me nearly $90 plus shipping to return the camera. WHAT A RIPOFF!

Ordered a Nikon L830 camera from BigTime Camera on 4/4/2016. On 4/15/2016 I called to get status of order, on backorder until 4/30/2016. Called on 5/6/2016 to get status, no Nike L830 available, ordered Nike L840 for higher price. Argreed, to transaction. Agent called hung up before getting final price. Customer Service is always in a rush, never asked if you are all set. Very poor service. Will not use this business again.
