Biased and not worth reading. Out of thousands of peaceful, beautiful people fighting for fair elections in the US, the Daily Beast picks out one sign to label the entire group as racist. It is disgusting. Fails to mention how Antifa and BLM thugs were attacking innocent elderly people.
Avoid this media outlet completely. Communist rag
The Daily Beast has some of the best-written feature articles on the net, bar none. That's the good news, the rest of the news is the Beast's web interface is the worst on the net, bar none. I've been reading the beast daily for perhaps a year and there hasn't been a single session where the site hasn't bombed. Mostly, the problem started when they started trying to sell subscriptions to the "Beast Inside".
They need to fire their entire web-dev group, drop the begging for dollars, and they'll get five stars from me. It's funny, even though the site's coding is garbage, the articles are often so fascinating I'll log it several times just to read the fascinating news.
I have ordered a couple of things through Daily Beast and never had trouble. But then one order from a vendor never seemed to show up--the tracking number I was given never seemed to be recognized. The support team followed up very quickly, and always got back to me letting me know what the status was. The item did arrive, and I Evey much appreciated the way the support team strayed on top of the matter and kept me in the loop. Thanks so much!
The Daily Beast is hit or miss - Former Vanity Fair and New Yorker editor Tina Brown started Daily Beast, a somewhat self-indulgent collection of original articles and syndicated work which calls itself, ". A speedy, smart edit of the web from the merciless point of view of what interests the editors."
Some of the articles are great. Funny original work like this article on David Gergen. Also, Tina Brown has called in such heavy-weights as the always brilliant Michael Kinsley. But for every excellent author, Tina Brown throws in a Randi Zuckerberg, the sister of the founder of Facebook, who is a poor writer and doesn't seem to have much to say of any importance.
So while I might be inclined to follow individual authors, I cannot find a compelling reason to keep coming back to the site. I just don't know what it's for.
I read the Daily Beast, well, daily. The editorial selection of articles is intersting and I quite like the layout of the site and find it very accessible. I take exception to one big thing, however: the editorial choices of headlines. For example: "Sanders blames poor people". If you read the article, what Sanders said is that poor people don't vote in great enough numbers and his candidacy would benefit if they did. But it's not the inflammatory headline TDB editors decided to assign to the story. A great site with room to improve.
I enjoy reading Will Sommer and his coverage of wacky QAnon and occasionally read Rick Wilson unless it's behind a pay wall.
The writing is done well but the content is garbage. The reviews seem to be biased and. Bull $#*! propaganda to create drama for people to share or discuss the site. Not even worth my time to get more in depth, if you want to read through some lame reviews that is your choice.
The internet version of SNL. No value at any level. Prey upon the feeble minded and gullible. I don't appreciate the agenda. I would rate it a zero but this site won't allow it so I rate it a begrudging 1. Provides people the wrong perspective. President Trump is a good leader. The Democrats may win the election but their platform, ideals and tactics are criminal. Fake News supports the foolish doctrine. More government. Soros globalists. Entitlements. I'm all for helping widows, orphans and cripples. They need it. Fake News and Democrats will ruin our nation. So I push back to prevent it. Maybe one day they'll see the light? Democrats didn't believe in the Affordable Care Act. They were pandering for votes. Otherwise they would have made a half-hearted effort to make it bi-partisan.
That's just one example. Don't get me started.
The annual fee was $35 and jumped to $50 without pre-notice. You can cancel, but only for future billings. Another money, money organization with no customer courtisy or sense of fair dealing.
Why can't I give 0 stars? This "News" channel is on of the worst sites I've ever seen.
The Daily Beast is a terribly biased news source. They utilize sensationalist, clickbaity headlines that are not back up by any substantial facts whatsoever. They use unprofessional language in their writing, appealing to emotions instead of facts. Sometimes they even post outright fake news just to get those clicks. Overall, I would not get my information from here.
After reading for over 2 months I have unsubscribed due to how biased they are. If you're going to write a daily news letter for all, keep the political opinions away. The articles are not necessarily opinionated, but may be far fetched and obviously favor one party over the other.
Impossible to login - when you do login finally, it gives you a pop up saying you're already logged in, yeah you have to log in over and over and over just to read articles and every time you get 3/4 of the way through an article it vanishes. They constantly refresh the page so that you can't finish an article. I've written numerous emails about this and get the usual jibber jabber about whether my phone is updated. Yes it is. It has nothing to do with me and everything to do with their terrible programming which has been horrendous since the first day I put money down for this thing. It costs more than the New York Times or any two Conde Nast magazines and yet you can't even finish an article. And the ads are so incredibly annoying that it's ridiculous to think that you pay good money for this and still have to have the page half covered by videos Don't waste your money. But read the free articles because look at all the one star reviews below. Everyone of them is a Trumpist who objects to seeing reality put on paper, so you know the reporting is excellent and full of true news and not fake news.
If you were ever wondering the race/skin color of every named person in an article this website is exactly what you are looking for.
If you want actual news that isnt an opinion piece then stay away.
I just ran across this site today and article after article is nothing but their opinion on wanting to get people to side with them. It's not journalism, it's hardly an opinion site. It's them snarkily complaining about EVERYONE that doesn't agree with them. It's a site solely with the purpose of perpetuating hate.
If you refuse to be interviewed, they make up nasty stuff. Very vindictive. Very personal. Just a personal blog and not a vetted news site or revered opinion site. Sad. There is nothing of value to be gleaned from this site
Bought Whitesmoke editing program from The Daily Beast store. Program did not work correctly. I contacted Support Heroes (Daily Beast support). Received a reply that the vendor would have to respond. Few days later vendor sends them an email which they forward to me saying: "Is the customer using a firewall? May have to re-install." Well I re-installed, the program still did not work. I get a pop up saying too many downloads. So the product is totally worthless; $79 down the Daily Beast drain (pockets). I have sent several emails to Support Heroes and no response. I asked for a refund, no response. I read that they do not offer refunds... ok... so I ask just for a bit of help to get the program working... no response. I get the impression that DBS just doesn't care. And since Whitesmoke sold the program at a deep discount, they don't care either... I bought quite a few things from DBS, but no more!
This is an insult to unbiased news period. All I ever hear is hateful references to Trump and conservative voters.
What happened to actual news, anyone? If I want to hear some grump old guy $#*! about his hamburger not being big enough I'd go to a restaurant and listen to the cook.
Unless you're LGBTQIA+ looking for affirmation you will find nothing useful. There's no reporting just progressiveness for the sake of being progressive. No substance.
Let's give the daily beast a taste of their own "Cancel Culture" medicine...
You see, it can work both ways... You accuse innocent free-thinking decent people of being "alt-right" and try to silence and shame them but people are sick of the likes of you trying to silence free speech because the views or lifestyle not align with YOUR political dogma.
So, as a moderate member of society, I see these "cancel culture" views clearly & openly expressed by the daily beast as extremely dangerous, equally as dangerous as many far-right viewpoints.
Shame on you, you are nothing but EXTREMISTS
How uninformed your reporters are (including,@JustinBaragona). Without any validity you spew lies in ink. How foolish anyone would be to read your articles and believe a word of it. My Pillow and Mike Lindell represent the millions of Patriots who have been silenced in the USA today. Your ignorance on the subject of free speech and our first amendment rights knows no bounds. Your lack of research, arrogance, and gall to report news without one iota of investigation is a travesty. Tune into Frankspeech.com to watch Absolute Truth & Absolute Interference to educate yourself!
Answer: Scam... another Snopes (liberal opinon-checking as opposed to fact-checking)
Answer: They won't remove anything. They currently have tons of ads for someone running for Senate that aren't true. Anyone they can get money from is allowed
