Gotta tell ya. When it comes to a waisted online journalistic experience, The Daily Beast is less than a waist of time. For the fact that if your gonna go online with any type of story, at least the hell make it a readable article, not some kinda whore $#*! experience where one is left at the end of road in a Pay To Play Situation. Cuz I gotta tell Ya, there is much much very more free journalism on line that literally smokes The Beasts article from hour to hour. If I want to pay to read I'll throw my money at real writer journalists, no some off the skid's garbage $#*! rag. See ya

Daily Beast had notified the Ukrainian government where to find journalists Gonzalo Lira who was incarcerated and died from illness. I'm tired of so called Americans leaving Americans behind and even worse yet informing a dictator where to find a journalist that is critical of the Ukrainian government's situation.

When I feel bad about myself, I just think about all the people that read The Daily Beast. I have no idea how this is a legitimate media outlet. It's the real life news equivalent to the radio stations in GTA; if I didn't know better I'd think it was satire. Nonetheless, I'm sure readers of The Daily Beast enjoy sounding out the headlines between the breaks they take to clean the drool off of their chins.

Pure trash. Do these haters have real lives or just exist in dark damp basement? I feel sorry for the people who fall for their BS.

Why can't I give 0 stars? This "News" channel is on of the worst sites I've ever seen.

The Daily Beast is a terribly biased news source. They utilize sensationalist, clickbaity headlines that are not back up by any substantial facts whatsoever. They use unprofessional language in their writing, appealing to emotions instead of facts. Sometimes they even post outright fake news just to get those clicks. Overall, I would not get my information from here.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use this site. Use Reuters or something, they're much better.

I read an article about the terrible plane crash that occurred in VA on Sunday. The title is "Crashed Plane Behind D.C. Chaos Owned by Big-Time MAGA Donor Couple". How pathetic? These people lost their daughter, 2yr old grand daughter, nanny & pilot, and all you care about is what party they donate too, & if they support the NRA? Shame on you, Daily Beast!

I read the Daily Beast, well, daily. The editorial selection of articles is intersting and I quite like the layout of the site and find it very accessible. I take exception to one big thing, however: the editorial choices of headlines. For example: "Sanders blames poor people". If you read the article, what Sanders said is that poor people don't vote in great enough numbers and his candidacy would benefit if they did. But it's not the inflammatory headline TDB editors decided to assign to the story. A great site with room to improve.

Let's give the daily beast a taste of their own "Cancel Culture" medicine...
You see, it can work both ways... You accuse innocent free-thinking decent people of being "alt-right" and try to silence and shame them but people are sick of the likes of you trying to silence free speech because the views or lifestyle not align with YOUR political dogma.
So, as a moderate member of society, I see these "cancel culture" views clearly & openly expressed by the daily beast as extremely dangerous, equally as dangerous as many far-right viewpoints.
Shame on you, you are nothing but EXTREMISTS

We have been living with the coronavirus for almost a year and most of us can agree it has been a difficult time. And as with many things, people react to the extreme-one side refuses to wear a mask, ignores safety precautions and declares it a hoax. The other side becomes "quarantine snobs" and hides in their pod of close friends and family, condemning and criticizing others who are trying to go about their normal lives while following CDC guidelines. The recent "Beast" story on the horrors of living with COVID in Florida is an almost embarrassing example of pandering to the latter and represents the worst kind of journalism. Not only is it fear mongering at its worst but the facts are extremely distorted. For example, assuming that the UK variant has run rampant in Florida alone, when this state (like some, and not like others) happens to keep track of the different types of variants. And only interviewing those who choose to remain in lockdown until the virus is completely eradicated. Journalism 101: There are two sides to every story. One might expect this type of coverage from sources famous for ignoring the other side of the story (Fox News' recent impeachment coverage comes to mind) but not a supposedly intelligent left-leaning publication. Stop plagiarizing Fox's playbook and use your own, one that looks at *all* the facts and tells *both* sides of story!

Impossible to login - when you do login finally, it gives you a pop up saying you're already logged in, yeah you have to log in over and over and over just to read articles and every time you get 3/4 of the way through an article it vanishes. They constantly refresh the page so that you can't finish an article. I've written numerous emails about this and get the usual jibber jabber about whether my phone is updated. Yes it is. It has nothing to do with me and everything to do with their terrible programming which has been horrendous since the first day I put money down for this thing. It costs more than the New York Times or any two Conde Nast magazines and yet you can't even finish an article. And the ads are so incredibly annoying that it's ridiculous to think that you pay good money for this and still have to have the page half covered by videos Don't waste your money. But read the free articles because look at all the one star reviews below. Everyone of them is a Trumpist who objects to seeing reality put on paper, so you know the reporting is excellent and full of true news and not fake news.

Tip for consumers:
The daily beast reporting is outstanding and it’s unfortunate that their website makes it impossible to read the outstanding reporting

I thought that National Enquirer was a bad publication, but man oh man, these people top it off! How do people even read this? Your bias has to be on another level to able to confirm it reading this garbage. This is extremely detrimental to our society, we need to get rid of publications like this. We are supposed to believe now that if democrats lose in 2022 it isn't due to bad public policy, corruption, extreme views or plain old a total disconnect from what the masses want, no, it's because Putin interfered in the elections! Give me a break! Who believes this doodoo?

Tip for consumers:
Don’t, that’s my tip for others who want to use the Daily Beast as a trustworthy news source…just don’t. We need to wipe out these sort of hurtful publications if we want to grow and evolve as a society.

Gonzalo Lira has dissapeared and probably been arrested by the ukrainian secret police. Days prior The Daily Beast wrote a horrible one sided piece on him. They can be proud of themselves. I wouldnt be able to life with myself knowing this.

Biased and not worth reading. Out of thousands of peaceful, beautiful people fighting for fair elections in the US, the Daily Beast picks out one sign to label the entire group as racist. It is disgusting. Fails to mention how Antifa and BLM thugs were attacking innocent elderly people.
Avoid this media outlet completely. Communist rag

The Daily Beast has some of the best-written feature articles on the net, bar none. That's the good news, the rest of the news is the Beast's web interface is the worst on the net, bar none. I've been reading the beast daily for perhaps a year and there hasn't been a single session where the site hasn't bombed. Mostly, the problem started when they started trying to sell subscriptions to the "Beast Inside".

They need to fire their entire web-dev group, drop the begging for dollars, and they'll get five stars from me. It's funny, even though the site's coding is garbage, the articles are often so fascinating I'll log it several times just to read the fascinating news.

The Daily Beast is the king of media "disinformation" as it pushes an extremely progressive narrative under the guise that they are presenting news. The fact that so many read and believe it as if it were the Gospel is a sad comment on the culture of today's society.

The internet version of SNL. No value at any level. Prey upon the feeble minded and gullible. I don't appreciate the agenda. I would rate it a zero but this site won't allow it so I rate it a begrudging 1. Provides people the wrong perspective. President Trump is a good leader. The Democrats may win the election but their platform, ideals and tactics are criminal. Fake News supports the foolish doctrine. More government. Soros globalists. Entitlements. I'm all for helping widows, orphans and cripples. They need it. Fake News and Democrats will ruin our nation. So I push back to prevent it. Maybe one day they'll see the light? Democrats didn't believe in the Affordable Care Act. They were pandering for votes. Otherwise they would have made a half-hearted effort to make it bi-partisan.

That's just one example. Don't get me started.

How uninformed your reporters are (including,@JustinBaragona). Without any validity you spew lies in ink. How foolish anyone would be to read your articles and believe a word of it. My Pillow and Mike Lindell represent the millions of Patriots who have been silenced in the USA today. Your ignorance on the subject of free speech and our first amendment rights knows no bounds. Your lack of research, arrogance, and gall to report news without one iota of investigation is a travesty. I read TDB for writers like Clive Irving, Anthony Haden-Guest, Chistopher Buckley, etc. I really enjoy the entertainment writers like Kevin Fallon and Marlow Stern as well. I don't really lean one way or the other politically so I recognize the more-than-occasional disproportionally caustic spew of personal opinions. I get an excellent overview across a wide variety of subjects a couple times a day, I'm good with that. I will say, the continuous barrage of misspellings and typos is awe-inspiring (I've spent time as a professional editor in my day) but I am seeing that more and more across the Internet so there's no use in expecting any big change as far as that goes.

Articles are garbage. They give clickbait titles and flail to substantiate that point throughout the article whether it is a true claim or not. Why this site is one of the first suggestions on google is beyond me. It would be very unfortunate if people who didn't know any better considered this a factual source of information.

Horrifically biased click-bait site. I would be hard pressed to find anything pertaining to objective reporting, or an accredited writer that could slap two sentences together without the hyperbole of an angry 16 year old on Twitter. There is no news. This is their formula:

1. Throw a dart at a board full of anything Republican, right wing, conservative, or not-left-extremist
2. Not investigate any of the details but rather pick the opposing view to the extreme
3. Write it out like you're reviewing a punk rock concert
4. Give it a catchy title that will attract young, impressionable youth to read the title, but not look any further.
5. Give it some wild claims further down for the idiots who are now young adults and still believing this is reality
6. Post it under "News"
7. Rinse and repeat.
