They will cheat you! Signed up for NextSock, a 3 month subscription where a couple pair of socks are sent out for 3 months. Paid $24 on Pay Pal because I didn't want a rag like this to have my credit card info. After they got payment, they informed me that the invoice number they assigned needed to be entered with a 3rd party that would actually send the socks out. BUT WAIT... In order to do that, the 3rd party DEMANDS you give them your credit card info.
Quote: "The $24 was not paid to us and you will not be charged when entering your credit card information you will only be charged if you choose to continue your subscription after your prepaid term."
Sure, after they screw me out of $24, I'm going to now give them my credit card info... How delusional are these maggots? Oh, and did I mention that there are "NO REFUNDS"? These people are sleazy internet criminals. Don't even think about doing business with them!
Will Sommer has absolutely no idea what he is talking about half the time! He still has no idea what drugs really work for Covid! All this newsletter seems capable of is misleading people!
There is nothing worse than a so-called 'business' or 'company' that claim to 'go after bullies in politics and to be unbiased', however, they ARE the bullies and extremely biased. I don't have to say which side of the political road they favor. And, if it is THAT evident, they should not be trusted as any sort of 'news' at all. Just a bunch of biased, angry and opinionated fools. When I see a real news entity NOT always attacking the POTUS in a negative way, whether it be obvious or passively aggressive as does 'The Daily Beast', I tend to appreciate getting the facts and forming my own opinion. Their name (daily beast) suits them very well.
It's baffling. Today they write how Trump has proclaimed he, himself has ended covid. While I wouldn't put this past him, TDB sites zero evidence and citations to their claims. Meanwhile, the article generated over 3500 upvotes on Reddit. Humanity, especially in the US is seriously de-evolving.
I'm so GD sick of this GD site crashing more and more and more for the last two years I'm thinking of canceling my Beast Inside subscription. I don't understand why they can't update their server to accommodate the traffic they get, my god is a site you have to pay to read. I'm paying. FIX IT. This same issue is why I quit reading Raw Story.
Calling your President a Racist on the first word of the title of your post! First, off he is not a racist and for you to presume or spread lies that he is a racist in your TITLE, it should be illegal. You will get sued and you will apologize for making false accusations and instigating violent riots against the President of the United States.
The Daily Beast Online News Current Affairs Cheat Sheet
Tina Brown, former editor of Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and Talk Magazine lunched 'The Daily Beast' in October 2008. A year later it joined up with Newsweek and is now 'The Newsweek Daily Beast'
The name is derived from the newspaper 'The Beast' in Evelyn Waugh's 1938 satire of sensationalist journalism, foreign correspondents and war reporting. (Seventy plus years later, 'Scoop' is still very funny)
The Daily Beast 'Cheat Sheet' (must reads from all over) is a good source of links and backgrounds to top stories. Newsweek is obviously favoured, but not exclusively. Fast overviews, some good writing, interesting topics.
The Daily Beast http://www.thedailybeast.com is a worthwhile bookmark for news hounds. Recommended.
I don't even think The Daily Beast could even come close to being a legitimate news source. It's so overwhelmingly biased that it actually bleeds into their narrative all the time.
So opinionated to the point that they seem to be spouting fake news at you. This new site is also incredibly intolerant of any views outside of ignorant liberalism.
Daily Beast is awful! Lies, no integrity, truly terrible! I never click on anything they show anymore. You can assume that whatever they print—t's NOT true. A true RAG—sad!
Lying defamation and other harsh articles. Hope they get sued over Exodus Cry article and much more.
A big fat o what a waste of time I would rather go back to work than listen to this garbage,
Not informative unless you want to believe opinions of the nobody's!
Is there not any talent anymore?
The rag freely uses the label rght wing to disparage people they do not like. It would be interesting to see a piece in which Democrats are called far left.
I read TDB for writers like Clive Irving, Anthony Haden-Guest, Chistopher Buckley, etc. I really enjoy the entertainment writers like Kevin Fallon and Marlow Stern as well. I don't really lean one way or the other politically so I recognize the more-than-occasional disproportionally caustic spew of personal opinions. I get an excellent overview across a wide variety of subjects a couple times a day, I'm good with that. I will say, the continuous barrage of misspellings and typos is awe-inspiring (I've spent time as a professional editor in my day) but I am seeing that more and more across the Internet so there's no use in expecting any big change as far as that goes.
I bought an items for@$200 and realized before it was delivered I had made a mistake and it wasn't what I thought it was. I immediately contacted customer service and was told somewhere in the fine print it says certain items are not returnable because the price is so low. The VERY SAME item I discovered is for sale for $90 less at multiple retailers and online. If I could give a negative star rating I would. Plus I will NEVER EVER use them again and will stop reading their site as well.
SCAM WARNING!
I purchased "The Cube Bluetooth Speaker" from thedailybeast.com.
Be aware that upon receipt, the item turned on, but before I could get the speaker to operate and within 1 hour THE SPEAKER was completely inoperative. I tried to contact The Daily Beast for a refund, then realized there is no phone # for a person to speak with OR a return address!
Through a series of emails, they informed me told me they are sorry and that "all sales or final, no matter what!
I have contacted my bank to cancel the financial transaction for the bluetooth speaker as there is no recourse.
BE ADVISED THAT PURCHASES FROM THE DAILYBEAST.COM ARE A SCAM, BUYER BEWARE!
Extremely biased lying hate machine. That shows extreme violence and malice towards those from the Right. Hates those follow their religious values and condones murder of the unborn.
Just read an article by Brendon Hong and the headline was verbatim: China's State Media: We Should Carve Up Facebook Just Like TikTok
Facebook is and has been banned in mainland China for a number of years as well as many others such as YouTube, google, Twitter...
Hong is an wumao无毛, how could China carve up a website they already don't allow in their country? The hypocrisy is that the Chinese govt has a Twitter and fb account and yet they're banned in the country The daily beast is nothing more than a tabloid with little to no journalistic integrity. One star is too high a rating
Bought 2 items on Black Friday. Offered them on Xmas. Both were defective. Never got refunded because I was told it was too late. I am never shopping there again and you shouldn't either.
Terrible... Far left lies & twisting of the truth. With Chelsea Clinton on the board of directors, what else would anyone expect? Showed up on my phone & I hate it. How do I delete it?
Answer: Scam... another Snopes (liberal opinon-checking as opposed to fact-checking)
Answer: They won't remove anything. They currently have tons of ads for someone running for Senate that aren't true. Anyone they can get money from is allowed
