I ordered a down comforter that was never delivered, after 2 1/2 weeks. I checked with UPS, and got no info. I checked with The Company Store to cancel and get a refund. They cancelled, but said I will only get a refund after UPS delivers it back to them. You see the problem here. And Company Store is making their problem mine. I may never see that $269.38 again. It is highly likely that UPS lost the order.
They claim UPS could not deliver because of bad weather. Well, that explains 3 of the days out of 2 1/2 weeks, but not any other. They claim I cancelled with UPS directly. I did not. When I called Customer Service, I was transferred to a supervisor, who claimed I had asked to be transferred to her. I had not. Just all around mistakes that make for a terrible customer experience.
I returned a $400 purchase. Per UPS, The Company Store received it on 12/24. As of 01/19 no refund was showing on my credit card statement. I have called the company and at this time have been on the phone with them for 20 minutes (longer than it is taking me to write this review), trying to resolve the issue. They have confirmed that they received my return. Don't know what the hold up is.
Jan 7th I order an item. Crickets. I follow up with two more emails and nothing. Then, I call and the person says that they have to see if the warehouse can cancel it. Pathetic process. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
Ordered two terry robes as gifts 2 weeks before x-mas. Five phone calls and four emails later, they arrived today, a month later with incorrect monogram. A scarlet "A"? Seriously? Never again.
I place an order for flannel pajamas. The confirmation said they were mens pajamas even though the picture was a woman. I immediately called customer service. They answered with hello, not the name of the company so I immediately felt something was off. They said it didn't show up on their computers yet and call back in 30 minutes. I did and got the same answer, different person except I got my order number so I figured they had the availability to change my order. She said call back in 45 minutes. I said you are closed in 45 minutes and she said call in the am, they order will not be shipped by then and hung up on me. I called back immediately, was hung up on two times, mind you we were getting close to closing time. I finally got a man and he said he didn't see the order. I asked for a supervisor and she told me the order was already shipped and couldn't cancel the order.
I am waiting now for my cc company to pull the charge. I did put a review on their webpage and they took it down.
Don't buy from them.
This company has really gone down the tubes. Twice now I've placed orders only to be told that they ran out. Anticipated this and the chat staff lied. Done with this company!
I ordered Christmas stockings for my son and his family on Nov. 13th. Two of three arrived but despite phone calls and reassurances that the third would "definitely go out today" it is still in the warehouse on Dec. 22nd and is now projected to arrive "after the holidays." Thanks a lot Company Store. Merry Xmas to you too.
Let me start out by saying I have been ordering from the company store for THREE decades. I ordered a robe very recently. I realized the wrong size was ordered after I did a color change (reverted back to xs). Called immediately to cancel order, and they could not find the order. Told to call back in an hour. Called back in an hour, told the order had " literally just gone down 4 minutes ago." They said don't worry just return when you get it. Got the package. Initiated return that can only be done through UPS. This system requires you to put in the tracking number to sent a QR code. You can't print a return label from your phone from the UPS site. The UPS site also doesnt send the QR code to your email. So when you get to the UPS store, you have to pull up the UPS.com site again and put in the tracking number again. What kind of convoluted return system is this? I then called them back again. The customer service rep stated they would send me an email with a printable label, but it would take 24 hours to show up. Called back again, a while later, finally the customer service rep sent me an email that showed up, but still couldn't be printed from my phone. I had to go to my desktop computer to print. REALLY? This is the 21st century. Not worth dealing with this company anymore. I had always been so happy with this company. Not so much anymore. So sad.
I bought the medium down comforter from The company store. There wasn't very much goose down in it that's for sure.
I ordered a linen set in late September and when nothing came and no email came I called in November and was on hold for a long time. The service rep cheerily told me that the item was in stock and would be sent in 5 days. No e-mail confirmation. Another 20 minute call later a few weeks after I was able to cancel the order. This was not worth the frustration nor time suck of over 30 minutes of hold music to figure out why it takes 3 months to get an set of linens from an established company that seems to have terrible communication policies. After 3 months and another long hold- I asked for a full refund never having even seen the item which apparently was still "getting ready to be shipped"
OMG, with high prices and sales laughable, worse was yet to come. I bought 2 items on 12/2/21 and 2 weeks later had not received any communication re the order being shipped. Never received a reply to my enquiring email about my order. CEO is not employing enough customer service people to answer emails (!). When I called I was told "your order was delivered." NO IT WASN'T. I have no desire now to even look at the itmes I order, getting a full refund. It's not worth the aggravation, no bargains and only good if you're a card carrying masochist and like to waste your time dealing with them. AVOID!
I made a large order and a few months later several of the towels were falling apart. I never received a towel I ordered and when I emailed them to ask about it they tried to charge me again. Luckily my PayPal info on had changed so they couldn't but I never received a refund or the towel and also was not able to get a refund for towels filing apart.
I received the pillowcases I ordered and they're fine, but the matching duvet cover has been back-ordered multiple times. I ordered on 9/26/21, back-ordered until mid-November, now it's back-ordered again until March 2022. I'm only willing to wait for it because it's the matching color and I won't find the exact right color anywhere else.
Horrible smell, like old fish... washed in hot water twice. Had to throw away. Disgusting smell that just got worse. Never again. Plaid flannel pajamas for my grandson.
I'll never order anything from this company again. I bought a comforter from them now all the feathers are coming out.
I purchased a waterproof mattress pad in July. At the same time, a memory foam mattress. Now in November, I spill coffee on the pad and it goes right through to the mattress. Contents are 77% cotton and 23 % polyester for the top. Bottom layer is 100% polypropylene. Purchase price $115.00 plus tax. When I call them to tell them about this they try to convince me I did not have a waterproof pad. They no longer sell this pad. I tell them the pad has ruined my mattress. They just argued with me for 5 minutes so I wil try and find my receipt. I guess they don't know what polypropylene is. Do not buy from this company. They do not stand behind their products.
I didn't even have to open the packages to see that the quilted merchandise was crap! There was NO quilting and what they called quilting was just a stich through the fabric probably done by some child in a foreign country. Even my coworkers were shocked by the quality and the price I had paid for the quilt and pillow shams.
Now, I'm having to fight for my refund and they are telling me that it's due to my bank/credit card company processor being slow to process the transaction. Excuse me! I work in the processing industry and know that it doesn't take weeks to process a credit transaction.
I bought two sets of percale sheets in Jan 2021. Several small tears appeared in the bottom of the flat sheet in one set. I examined the bed closely and nothing explains these tears other than a flaw in the material. I called and was surprised to get the run around being past 90 days blah blah. When I asked if she wanted to lose me as a repeat customer, I was transferred to a supervisor who doubled down on the runaround. I again asked if she wished to lose me as a future customer. Her response was to bump my concerns to headquarters where someone will call me in 72 hours. Defective products should never amount to a hassle like this for any customer.
Also, I have been bombarded with printed catalogs every since the purchase and twice asked for it to stop. This customer service should be relabeled "company service". I will mend the tears but that ends doing business with such clueless people.
Very disgusted with this company…I had to return an order and was told I would get my refund…. That was one month ago and no response whatsoever …. It was a mattress topper that is absolutely useless to me …I paid well over $200.00 for this piece of garbage…I will contact the BBB and file a complaint…. This company tells you what they want you to hear…
I have now tried 3 times to order a blanket. Each time I was told its in the warehouse, and will ship overnight... only to call a few days later asking where it is to hear, order was canceled since they don't have it... this is horrible. Esp sine i spoke with a person who claimed they were checking and yes, my item requested is there and will be shipped overnight

Answer: It has been easy to get hold of customer service and eventually worked out multiple problems. Let me add, their were too many problems to continue doing business with the company.
Answer: Legitimate Business selling stylish bedding and home products. As a satisfied customer for over 25 years, I will shop elsewhere as the quality is now poor and cheaply made.
Answer: Not only that, but return labels are much cheaper than paying retail USPS charges. Never shopping there again.
