Heard about your store from friend and I'm glad i did. Great prices and with the extra 15% off for being a new customer was awesome. My only problem was you use fedex. In my opinion the worst delivery service, Order was four days late

This is the best online shopping experience I have ever experienced. Quality merchandise was shipped quickly. I received a free gift(a stocking cap) as part of a sales promotion. To top it off the boots went on sale shortly after my purchase and they reimbursed me the difference. The people I communicated with were the best.

Ok I guess

Meh. I got a good deal, but they started offering free two day shipping on orders over $75 a day after I bought my $350 dollar boots. I wrote to them to see if they could do anything and they never responded.

A big reason I chose to buy from them instead of other discount retailers is that they promise free extras on orders over $300. I got my order, and despite their promise there was nothing extra included. I wrote to them again to ask about it and again, havent received a response. I likely wont buy from them again on principle.

The rotors are terribly bent. Don't even want to ride it honestly. Sounds terrible. Got the bike wanting to get into mtb but the rotors are bent so bad it's embarrassing to ride. Would love some replacement rotors. You guys really should put "Fragile" all over the boxes

Slow Shipping, Wrong Items, Zero Support

Placed an order on Black Friday 2020. Didn't get my items shipped until a few weeks later and when it arrived, one of the items was incorrect. When it arrived I immediately emailed them asking for the correct item and they promised they would ship it after I finally got through the automated responses to an actual person. Later, they sent me an invalid UPS tracking number. After waiting several weeks for that to arrive, I contacted them again at the end of January and they said that it's no longer in stock and they need to refund me. It's been 2 weeks since I was promised a refund and I still haven't gotten it. I'll never buy from this company again no matter how good the deal is. Their failure to ship product and repeated failures to fix their mistakes indicate that they just don't take customer satisfaction seriously.

Poor return service
January 26, 2018

No return information included with order, so it's taken extra time online and on phone with customer support to get instructions. Return shipping is not covered, which is an expense that will prevent me from shopping with The House again. Easy returns should be a standard best practice and affects overall shopping experience.

Terrible customer service
December 18, 2021

Bought a new Burton snowboard and bindings for our 9 yo for Christmas within the Xmas delivery time frame.

No confirmation. No response to email. On hold for now 45 minutes.

I live in Minneapolis and will never purchase from them again.

The products I ordered are awesome and showed up quickly... thanks to 686 and Grenade! Ordering thru The House should have been easier in my opinion. I was charged twice, so was my girlfriend. My girlfriend even received a different customers personal info... her name, address, what she ordered, ip address etc etc. Long story short... happy with my gear.
Will buy direct or from local shops moving forward

I ordered a set of skis from the pre-season sale, which was not well-labeled. I had to ask two staff members for more information and got conflicting answers about the skis. After deciding to order anyway, the skis arrived very fast - in a plain, long, white box with no packing materials whatsoever. The shrink wrap holding the skis together had shredded in transit, and they were loose in the box, causing some scratching, and the box itself was bent as it was very flimsy.

The skis turned out to be decent despite the scratches, and I am looking forward to using them this season - just wish a bit more care had been taken with them before they reached me.

There are way too many companies online to waste your time and money with this one. I ordered a Roxy shirt and a pair of Reefs. The shipping stated 3-8 business days, I received it in 10. Not great to begin with, but not a deal breaker. When I opened the package, only the shoes were in there. The shirt was nowhere to be found. I called the company today to see what happened and they stated it was out of stock so they just didn't send it. I received no notification whatsoever. Too bad-I am leaving for vacation this week and was excited to bring it with me. Lackadaisical attitude and turtle slow shipping will have me directing my online business elsewhere!

The House had the best price for my item, shipped VERY quickly - a great transaction. Their after sale communication suddenly became a daily barrage of sales propaganda. Had they been more circumspect in how they relate to me, I would have put them on my list of "check first" vendors. Now, they can just hope to show up in a future search.

Ordered some shorts because of the great price. They arrived promptly, my fault for ordering the wrong size. The return process is straightforward, no need to complain about filling out a paper form like other reviewers, I own a pen. Money was refunded to my CC promptly.
Ordered the correct size and for cheaper than anywhere else on the internet.
Consider me a happy camper... maybe I'm easy to please...

Just what I needed!
March 15, 2018

I live in the rugged mountains of southern Oregon and I m an avid hiker. I hike in the snow and needed warm waterproof pants for snow hiking. These fit perfectly, color is lovely, they work! Pockets nice and deep to carry my phone, keys, whistle and pistol. Highly recommend! The sale price was a determining factor too.

If a coat and a sweat shirt had a baby it would be the DC Snow Star! Best of both worlds. I got the wrong size but after an easy exchange my son who never wears coats will live in this sweat shirt. I'll feel better because it's almost a coat.
