I was a dedicated Sales Manager for Tempur-Pedic in Tucson at the Encantada Mall. I was given no training whatsoever and treated horribly at the end of my tenure. I am a native Tucsonan, my family being here for over 150 years. I do not recommend purchasing Tempur-Pedic as their margins to produce their product and what they are selling their "sleep systems" is ridiculous. Plus what they paid me and my employees was pennies on the huge amount they were making on each bed and base. We were not even paid commissions on their way over priced bedding especially their pillows. Imagine paying $280.00 for a pillow as a consumer. And then us the employees get nothing in return. Look at these reviews. More than half are of my stellar salesmanship and the excellent experience they received at Tempur-Pedic La Encantada. Look at the one most recent by Ms. Joan Prost who came back to my store because I was the best and even bought me lunch and invited me to Christmas dinner. I am a well respected person in my community and am telling you now Tucson do not spend the money on what they are asking you to pay for their products. I am here for the people I love so much in The Old Pueblo. Tempur-Pedic is definitely not here to give you "Undisturbed Sleep". They are here for your money only! I am helping several of my friends as a consultant to purchase their beds. Saatva is the only company to look at and now so are my friends. They have the Seal of Approval of the American Chiropractic Association and Tempur-Pedic does not. And their prices are way better and have a superior product. Saatva is money well spent. Look them up.
I have owned a Tempur-Pedic Mattress for 6 years and it has the biggest dip in it over 2 inches! And they will not stand behind the warranty the worst customer service I have ever received. I paid over $6,000 and it is supposed to have a 10 year warranty! There warranty department is a joke took several weeks and multiple attempts only to say the mattress was abused and or stored wrong after the second set of pictures. I would never buy a mattress from them again! I would how ever by a sleep number bed! The first one I had lasted 14 years with no issues just thought a new bed would be better for my bad back and it was for a few years the dip started many years ago but I just slept on the other side once I got married we need the whole bed not just half of it. Save your money and by a cheap mattress from Walmart! I have there bed on my boat and its amazing especially since it was only $400. You can see here how stained up it is... NOT.
Terrible. My wife and I bought a King mattress and spent thousands of dollars on it, we were told it was a 25 year warranty. It started sagging and we can no longer use it and my warranty claim (that took like 2 hours to do) was denied. It's sagging so bad we can't even sleep on it. I've been sleeping on my couch cause it kills my back to sleep on the sagging Tempur-Pedic mattress. They said it was denied cause there were stains on it. What does that have to do with the mattress sagging so bad I can't even use it? We keep a mattress cover on it and it's been our bed in our bedroom since we bought it, not damaged or improperly stored etc. don't waste your money, buy from a company that stands by their stuff and replaces defective products. Tempur-Pedic will leave you hanging. I'll never buy from Tempur-Pedic again and never recommend them to anyone. I'll also find any way I can to express my frustration cause I feel we were wronged by them.
Have had 3 Warranty Claims and now on our 4th but having difficulty with their Claim Form. Very difficult to get anyone on the phone and always directed to "Complete the Warranty Claim" on-line only. This would be OK but their on-line warranty does not allow posting pictures (on Pg.3) in the small greyed out area provided - it downloads just below so site will not allow us to go to the next page. I've complained 3 times and they just keep updating My Claim Number - Has been 1 1/2 weeks - now must wait another 7-10 days for response and solution.
It has been 2 weeks and my mattress still hasn't even left its initial location. I have been lied to over and over about the progress and now the ETA is 4 weeks after my order was placed (and who knows if it will even deliver then). Worst delivery and tracking experience I have ever had. I expect better from a $3100 purchase.
I wish I could give a no star because that is what Tempur-Pedic deserves. I intended to order a King Size mattress topper but according to Tempur-Pedic I ordered a Queen size topper for which I have no use. I did not open the box and asked Tempur-Pedic to exchange it for a King topper. Their customer service is ridiculous and their staff are like a bunch of broken records stating they have a no return policy. I would avoid doing business with them at all cost. Judging by the consistency of their poor reviews the company clearly does not care about their customers.
We bought Tempur-Pedic mattresses a few years ago, and after two years one mattress failed to provide support. I submitted a claim, which was swiftly denied, with comments about the surface sag measurement when the mattress is not in use. The mattress has failed. The mattress does not properly support me, and I sink more than half the depth of the mattress in the center, with the head and foot positions remaining at near-full depth, basically creating a hole for my mid-section to sink into.
Tempur-Pedics warranty criteria isn't relevant to the qualities we look for in a mattress, rather their production factors and an arbitrary measurement that has absolutely nothing to do with comfort or support.
Tempur-Pedics customer service was quick to respond with a denial of our request, and spurned our requests for a representative to come to our home to observe the mattress failure.

I have been trying to show them the problem my mattress has and filled a claim. They asked me to add a stick and a quoter coin next to the stick, but this test never will show the problem I have.
The problem I have is the mattress gets very deep in the areas where I make more pressure. It wasn't like that when new.
They don't really want to take a test to show this problem. I have been asking to do something and they keep saying the coin is not 3/4 deep. The test they requested just shows problems without making pressure on the mattress.
I ordered Tempurpedic Prohi king size pillow around 3 weeks ago and I am already having difficulty sleeping on it due to reasons below. The pillow sinks in and becomes completely flat in less than 15mins and the entire night I have to keep adjusting my neck and head for the pillow to reset. Now, I am having neck pains since pillow completely lays flat 90% of the time in the night and pillow lacks to provide support for my neck. It has only been 3 weeks and the pillow already has formed head impression on one side.
This is an expensive pillow, that I have invested into and don't appreciate having these problems so early on. I contacted the company in regards to above issues and they told me that they can't help me. Worst customer service. Please don't buy this pillow-it's totally hyped up and not worth the money at all. I would have given only half star if there was an option.
The return policy is a sham. How do you try out a split king bed without an adjustable base, then if you are unhappy and uncomfortable you cannot return the base and are stuck with an expensive piece of equipment that is useless. Rip Offs. 90 night trial? Makes no sense. Very uncomfortable, sheet slips off continuously especially when using adjustable base, bed sleeps hot and is hard even in medium, mattresses slip apart during sleep, you can feel every move your partner makes keeping you awake during the night. Very unhappy with this highly over priced bed. Tempur Pedic customer for more than 15 years... never again. Rip Offs
Purchased one queen and one king bed. Worst deliver and customer service I have ever experienced. Supposed to have white glover delivery and set-up. Got unprofessional, lazy, and stupid instead. Received numerous faulty parts and had delivery people refused to set-up beds even though I was promised white glove. No matter how many times I complained and asked for assistance I was never given the service promised. Good mattresses, but, not worth the nightmare experience of delivery and set-up.
The Tempurpedic Neck Pillow has caused SEVERE NERVE DAMAGE AND PAIN from it's terribly flawed design! I purchased it because their old version was my favorite, but it's no longer available. I unfortunately chose this new model to replace my old one and it's literally THE WORST PURCHASE THAT I HAVE MADE IN MY LIFE! I now have permanent damage to my neck and shoulders and they have the nerve to refuse my request for refund under the warranty, even though the defective product is clearly cracked and falls under their terms of warranty. Do yourself a favor and avoid the pain. Their products are all worthless now and lack the quality they had in the past. It's very sad that this piece of garbage even made it onto the market!

I need to get my old tempur pedic from like 10 years ago that was used for a year shipped down to Florida from New York because these new models are awful. I bought the softest queen there was and it nowhere near compares to the softness of about 10 years ago. I've stained it so I can't return it but the break in they claim is bs; just making you wait long enough to stain it so you're stuck with it; bed is very stiff. Back to mattress toppers in the mean time for now... 5k to be unhappy
I have suffered from years of sleep problems. The solution turned out to be this type of bed. When you watch those late night TV informercials, they do seem too good to be true, however, I did buy a Grand Bed and found it was one of the best purchased I have ever made for my sleep health. I cannot recommend these beds enough to anyone who has sleep issues. The only disadvantage is that once you get used to this type of bed, it is hard to travel and sleep on the old style mattresses.

I have been a Tempurpedic owner for a little over three years. Paid DEARLY for it too. BUT by the end of the third year, I found that it was a bit soft under the ol' butt. I was terribly disappointed about this and consulted Tempurpedic. You have to go through quite an ordeal (which includes removing your mattress from the bed and putting it on the floor and taking pictures). Not only can I not lift the king mattress, but I have no space in my tiny bedroom to put the mattress on the floor. So I am caught between a rock and a hard place. Think that if a customer has a legitimate complaint about a $3000 bed, Tempurpedic should send someone out to look at it.
I've had ny own landscape business for forty years...college degrees in Ornamental Horticulture but a blue collar job...and started suffering from spinal arthritis at 35 years old. I bought the first generation Tempurpedic about 27 years ago when the only retailer was Brookstone and when $1200 was alot of money. I kinda felt guilty for spending the money but when I realized how awesome it was I realized I'd made a great choice...to the point that several friends and family also bought Tempurpedic based on my adulation.
Back then Tempurpedic had a 20 year warranty and after 23 years I felt that it needed replacing so I went right out and bought the model that the sales rep said was comparable (at $2800) and have regretted it ever since. I wake up every morning with so much pain in my lower back and hips that this morning I almost postponed the work I had scheduled today but knew that these might be the last decent weather days before cold winter weather settles in.
While I was researching customer satisfaction reviews for other brands online tonight I saw this site and found out that there are alot of unhappy Tempurpedic customers out there and when I saw this opportunity to give an honest review I seized it.
Although it's a fairly new purchase I can't wait to cut it up and make dog beds out of it for my sister's black labs.
I will agree with the others on this site. Go for the real deal and get tempurpedic. Costco knock off was not as good so we returned it and paid the big bucks for tempurpedic. It is better. It lasts forever and you use it every day.

We bought their mattress when the company was small - cared about its customers - also when they had no competition. Unfortunately, our 1st mattress did have to be replaced due to serious sagging issues. Even though that was an ordeal,
The lady was great to deal with, she even verified that we would have a new warranty starting with the new replacement mattress.
It has now been 8+ years and this 2nd mattress has lumps, ridges and is extremely uncomfortable. I contacted the company's customer service - who now is also doesn't also outsourcing that portion to place a wall and not take care of customers issues regarding their "supposed warranty".
Basically, I was blown off regarding the warranty replacement stated in the paperwork for issues prior to 10 years - and remember this is our 2nd go round with a bad mattress...
