Swindled out of 6 mos SSI payments.

TEMPUR LUXE ADAPT KING

Big Nightmare Was Lied to Manipulated. Defrauded out of $5,000 of my SSI, due to trusting in him
But he swindled me knew I couldn't afford bed wasn't right for me. Confused I'm disabled.

Lied to by metromattress who sells Tempurpedic,I was swindled into spending $5,000 for Luxe adapt king mattress never for me. Caused my back to go out several times. Could never sleep more than 3 hours.
I got physically sick. And still am. Due to this 90 days of hell.
Was told they would honor Tempu 90 day guarantee. And waive $99 return fee. I contact regional sales manager Craig P, who sold me mattress. In day 11, and 13 telling him the nightmare I was having asked for advice. I have his personal email. After sale he stopped responding. I told him by email to pick up mattress and return to store if he couldn't help me. Then I again make contact with him on day 90, He claimed it was day 92 when I txted him to come pick up the mattress. After sending him several emails. Stating he wont take it back. I'm on SSI disabled both physically /mentally. Craig P from Metromattress lied, took advantage of me, and said he won't take it back before 90 days. Everything he said was lie to confuse me dupe me out of not being able to return.

Craig was unclear by so many things. I thought he said I had to give it at least 90 days to break in the bed before he would take it back.
I truly am confused by this whole thing and Craig was not honest to me on ANYTHING.

5] ANYTIME YOU NEED PLEASE EMAIL ME AND I WILL ALWAYS GET BACK TO YOU ASAP. -LIE

CRAIG LIED TO ME ON ALL 5 OF THESE ISSUES.

MUST SAY I HATED BED FROM WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED. EVEN THE DELIVERY PEOPLE WERE RUDE. AND I NEVER WAS ABLE TO AS CRAIG SAID, BREAK IT IN.

BEING DISABLED I HAD NO IDEA WHAT HE WAS GETTING INTO. BECAUSE I TRUST AUTHORITY EVEN WHEN I SHOULDN'T. I FELT COULD RELY ON CRAIG.
THE MOST I EVER SPENT ON A BED WAS $900 IN HIS LIFE BEFORE TRUSTING YOUR SNEAKY CORRUPT [ OR WHATEVER CRAIG WAS NOT TRUSTWORTHY]
SALESMAN CRAIG.

FACT THAT I BOUGHT A MATTRESS FROM THEM IN CORTLAND NY WHEN I USED TO LIVE IN TULLY NY
THAT I FELT I COULD TRUST THEM. SO I DIDN'T HAVE MY GUARD UP WITH CRAIG WHEN SHOULD'VE.

YOUR COMPANY TOOK AWAY 6 MONTHS OF MY SSI CHECKS.

HIS TRICKERY IS IT WILL MOLD INTO YOU. AFTER 90 DAYS THAT IS NOTHING BUT LIES!

CRAIG OPENED ALL THESE NEW STORES THIS YEAR IN NEW ENGLAND. RUN FROM METROMATTRESS DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL
STEAL LIE AND MANIPULATE YOU.

IF YOUR DISABLED OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS FLOOD *******@metromattress.com EMAIL WITH DISGUST HOW HE TREATS DISABLED PEOPLE AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THEM.

I've filed a fraud complaint with Mass State Atty General, and New York AG against both metromattress and Craig Ptaszenski.

I can only imagine the level of disappointment for many customers if they get Russell's advice.
This person was very weird to say at least. We went there and it seemed he was bothered by my mattress knowledge and my firmness preference. Totally surreal...
Very rude guy.
I would say, "so I bought this Tempurpedic mattress that has the tallest core", and he would immediately say "nope". Ok, I have the numbers from the Tempurpedic website but nope. Just an example, there were multiple nopes.
The guy also said that all Tempurpedic models will last 20 years. No more, no less, nothing in between, 20 years period... The mattresses will always feel the same according to him, so basically at the twentieth birthday, I guess the mattress will disintegrate into another dimension...
I said, "based in construction, my Pro Adapt Firm will be longest lasting in the entire line"; he immediately said, "nope"... Obviously he missed physics class, otherwise he would know that foam durability is strictly and exclusively tied to density. Not all Tempurpedic mattresses have the same dense materials. Having the tallest and densest core, thinner and densest comfort layer at 12" tall, makes the Pro Adapt firm the most durable Tempurpedic mattress, by far. Simple physics...
I also said, "so my mattress has broken in a little after two weeks", also got an immediate "nope"... I said, "the Pro Adapt firm you have here at the store feels a little different, a tad softer from people trying it out", again, an immediate, "nope, that's not possible, they all feel the same". Everybody knows that foam mattresses break in a little after several days of usage, but not according to him. Even Tempurpedic tells you on their website about foam break in period. Also there can be noticeable discrepancies between the same exact models, because the manufacturing process and chemical combinations are not always the exact same. But of course he wouldn't know...
The guy doesn't know much of anything about layer construction, thickness, and properties of Tempurpedic mattresses. He literally doesn't know the difference between the core and the comfort layer.
He's a big guy, well over 250lb, and his preference was the luxe soft and he wishes it was even softer... Well that's ok, there is also petite people who love a very firm mattress but that's s rare personal preference. You can't recommend, as he was, to a heavy person to buy a soft mattress with absolutely no support for your weight. I was trying for the heck of it the Luxe Adapt soft, sinking like crazy, and he was like possessed saying, "but you are supported"... Ok man, I am sinking seven inches into the mattress but I am supported... So he doesn't even know what support is when it comes to a mattress...
I bought my Pro Adapt King at amazon for $2799, instead of $3999 at the store. He was saying, "that's impossible, something wrong with that, Tempurpedic controls the sales prices". If you go to the Tempurpedic website they will tell you that other retailers will have different prices. So he was wrong again.
I just wanted to go there to test mattresses because we wanted a change, maybe go for something a bit softer, but it turned into a "no, I'm right and you're wrong scenario". I wasn't even mean, or trying to be a smart lecturing guy at all... I was shocked with this guy's attitude. My guess is that he have some insecurity issues, and an obviously tremendous lack of knowledge of the products he's trying to sell, making the perfect environment for his personal tantrum.
Again incredibly bizarre and unpleasant experience.
But hey, the mattress is great regardless of being a bit firmer for our taste, Tempurpedic makes great products and we will be coming back in the future, just not at this store with Russell the "nope guy".

DON'T BUY FROM ANY FLAG SHIP STORE!

Because; if you buy from flagship store, tempurepedic.com will never help you.
Tempurpedic stores are like official tempurpedic store but NOT!
Honest Experience... If you like to buy Tempur-Pedic DO NOT USE STORES. I bought from Tampa international Plaza store. I paid almost $8000 but it was terrible experiance. Because if you have any problem with mattress or base you have to deal with store or Flagship customer service which is not Professional, official tempur-pedic customer service can't help you because you bought your stuff from the store so YOU HAVE TO BUY ONLINE which is official tempur-pedic and they are always helpful. Me and my wife bought mattress and base which is $6000, we still trying to return they don't excepted. They are giving hard time, we call to tempur pedic they didn't help us because we bought it from the store and the store have different customer service.
What happened?; we bought mattress and base, delivery late so I called the customer service, they transferred me FLAGSHIP customer service, I ask delivery, they said base is out of stock! Ok, so when I get it? They said no time may be 2 months. Are you kidding me? If it's out of stock; why did you sell it?! Why didn't you tell me before?! Why did you waiting for my call?! So they said that they will send better one. I believe them but after delivery I don't like the base because our base was 14 function on remote but new one 6 function on remote, there is no gravity and tv Function. I want to return it but FLAGSHIP customer service tell us no return for base. I call tempure pedic customer service believe me 30 TIMES may be more! Finally I decided to return everything, finally one of the manager from official tempur-pedic handle it. Her name was Mary *******625 she said that they will send better one with more Function on remote, they will not charge but same time they will not be happy. Because store lose money. Is it my mistake? But I feel bad and I offer $600 from my card. They take the offer, I gave my AMEX card number. They didn't charge to my Amex card. I though they understand and tempur-pedic handle it. Everything was ok but after next month WELLS FARGO call us and they said store charge us $1,800!
I call Mary "no answer" I call customer service "no help" I'm so tired. How can I trust to people from tempur pedic?. SO DON'T USE THIS STORE FOR SHOPPING! TRY TO BUY ONLINE TO GET OFFICIAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND REAL HELP. MY PROBLEM STILL NOT SOLVED!

Huge Mold Problem Underneath Tempur-pedic Mattress

I'm writing this review to hopefully inform other readers who might be considering purchasing a Tempurpedic mattress to do your homework before forking out 3-6K on this very expensive mattress. Here's our story--
My partner and I purchased a Tempurpedic Contour in July 2012. This month, January 2016, we lifted the mattress which was sitting on a frame slated for this bed, since we were purchasing a new bedroom set. To our shock and horror the underside of the mattress was completely covered in black, green and yellow mold. We are clean freaks, do not allow our dog on the bed and have a residential cleaning service come 1x per week. We immediately called Tempurpedic customer service and were advised to file a claim which we did the same day. The moldy mattress was moved to our garage since who knows what and how long we had been exposed to this highly dangerous bacterial growth. We contacted the store where we purchased the bed and they could do NOTHING for us since they said it was a manufuctors problem not a retailer problem. That left us without a bed to sleep on for the next 7-15 days ( the amount of time Tempurpedic advised us it would take to review and settle). Wow! This was unacceptable to us so we went to the local competitor and purchased a new non-Tempurpedic mattress since sleeping on the floor was not an acceptable option. Upon doing further online research for this issue we discovered dozens and dozens of identical complaints-- Mold under the mattress. But here's the kicker-- Tempurpedic would DENY THE CLAIM-- ( remember our mattress was well within the warranty period). We refuse to be blamed and made the victims of his problem. Mold growing underneath and NOT on top of a mattress is clearly a manufuctors defect and not a customer defect. We are so furious with having paid $3,000 for a defective mattress that is now sitting in our garage-- we spent over 14 hours posting reviews on every site we could find to inform potential customers of this issue. It's very likely that our claim will be denied, and if not, Temurpedic offers an identical replacement mattress. We never ever want to sleep on a Tempurpedic memory foam mattress again. I have lost my brand loyalty. If you currently own one of these mattresses please, for your own safety and health, lift it up and see if mold has started to grown on the underside. You can also search You Tube for videos of this exact problem. I hope this post helps others.
