Tasker Tee M... deep cleaning
We hired Tee to deep clean condo unit including all appliances and windows... he did an excellent job within the time agreed and it was obvious he took great pride in his work.We highly recommend him and will certainly use his services again.
Director of the board, South West Oakville Condominium...
This company has no customer-service mindset at all. I've hired two taskers who messed up the jobs, and in both instances, TaskRabbit charged me anyway. In the second instance, the Tasker did such a bad job that I had to completely redo the job, and TaskRabbit only offered me a $70 credit on a $200 total charge. Not only that, they told me to dispute the charge with my bank, and then proceeded to aggressively defend the charge in communication with my bank. Horrible company. Will never use it again.
I signed up to be a Tasker in early March, paid my $20, and was told I'd hear back within 3 business days. It's now been 12 business days and I've inquired by email twice, each time I receive an automatic response saying they can't give me a timeline or provide any information on the status of my application. I cannot get ahold of an actual person, their "help" page is less than helpful, directing you to a generic web form only to receive a generic reply telling you to inquire yet again with the generic web form for help. I did agree to pay the $20 knowing it was non-refundable, so I will not be requesting it back, but I am extremely disappointed in what I thought was going to be a fun opportunity to help people and make money around my community.
Taskrabbit outsources their work to anyone including violent rude individuals. We had a person from task rabbit come to our condo and assault a resident in the lobby. IKEA was unable to assist and taskrabbit has no support. They don't answer their 800 number or emails. If you use this company you may deal with violent unprofessional "sub contractors"
Task Rabbit should let you know how long your tasker has been doing this job. I would want someone with more knowledge and better time management of putting IKEA items together. I will never use this service again, the workers are inexperienced in putting the IKEA items together. If I wanted my purchase to look like I have had it for years I would have put it together myself.
I bought a chest of drawers from IKEA and their site gave this company as an assembly option. Got a price quote for per hour charges and total estimated charge based on the product. The estimate I got was 110$ for 3-4 hours of job. The guy took 5 hours to assemble one chest of drawers! And I was charged around 225$. ( the price of the chest of drawer was only 500$) They have included ripoff hidden fees too. I could have assembled it myself in one hour or had someone do it for me for less than 50$ for sure!
This company will take your money and then they do not bother to help you they do not have a customer service number so have to wait hours on chat live which will take 2 hours to speak to text some one
Fitter left half job and run away
Do not use! It's a scam! Look at their horrible star rating!
Taskrabbits' business model is hitting your wallet hard and fast using a well known thief called Mediocrity. All they do is save you the time to find a good cleaner. They have cheap labor come and do a half assed job while you pay them a premium price. Their customer support is useless and with their desperate first to market scale quickly model it shows they don't care at all how you feel about your experience of being ripped off.
Where do I start. Everything about this company is bad really bad. Ikea should think twice about their contract with this company as their reputation is at stake. Customer service terrible, taskers are totally ignorant of your time almost taking advantage of the fact that our needs are dependant on them. Their website is designed by an amateur.
I wasted 1week scheduling/rescheduling, calling customer service multiple times because of the above. Finally we ended up assembling the furniture ourselves. Would never recommend them.
Let down on first two appointments early morning sms saying they weren't coming try another tasked. Next one turned up did job but scratched new oak flooring in three places. Site stated it was a two maned job, but only one turned up. 7 hours for job finished in 3, price absolutely ridiculous. Will never use again.
Taskrabbit have not tried to resolve my problem. The plumber came to my resident with a plunger in his hand and nothing else. He went to the bathroom and plunged the toilet and said "it's fixed", then he left. He was there 15 minutes and it cost me $91. When I called Taskrabbit to complain, they actually told me to call the plumber and tell him, however I went to the Taskrabbit website to get the plumber and I paid my money to Taskrabbit and they told me to call the plumber. They also gave me a credit of $44, so I just lost $47 because my toilet is still doing exactly the same thing I called for in the first place. This was a group home for the mentally ill, a nonprofit organization and I do not have $47 to just throw up in the air. My issue still has nit been resolved.
I've worked as a task rabbit and it's basically blind bidding by the task rabbits. We don't get to know what the job poster wants to pay. Even when I've made a "good" bid per task rabbit's "good bid ding" for making a bid at or less than what the job poster wants to pay, the job winds up going to the lowest bidder, often up to half of what my supposed "good bid" was. Posters always underestimate the work they need done and I've done many tasks for less than minimum wage. Why? Because task rabbit rates the task rabbit workers and if you don't do it, the poster can complain and you look like the bad guy. Task rabbit.com is the winner, next the poster who gets cheap college educated labor, the rabbits? Well?... kind of the gum on the bottom of the shoe, unless you like being taken advantage of
I assumed (incorrectly) that when you schedule/hire someone from Task Rabbit to perform a job that they would actually show up. Got a text saying they were too busy on another task and had to cancel. And that they would not charge me. How nice of them to not charge me for a service they did not even provide.
I had Kaye assemble my dresser this morning. He was fantastic! He arrived early and started immediately. His appearance and mannerisms were exceptional. Kaye was very friendly! I will be hiring Kaye for all my IKEA assembly jobs.
Thank you Kaye!
They have criminals that tell you you did not give them the correct info, then ask for more money! Better off getting a homeless person to help, likely better job and won't try to scam you for more money!
That suck!
I paid the $20 and filled everything out and decided to look at the reviews... WOW! This is a GREAT concept but clearly the people running it have let it get away from them and based on the reviews it doesn't seem it will last much longer.
Tasker did not did job correctly I'm trying to contact with Task Rabbit customer service they want me to send thousand of pictures. Water wasn't leaking send them the pictures too but they don't want to take care of the customers 2 weeks finally they close the case and told me to go to my insurance co and claim them. Very bad business this was my 10th job never complained. 1 star is too much for them try to use if you know some one or call company pay little extra but not task rabbit.
Thanks
This was my first time using Taskrabbit. I booked a 10:30 time based on the Taskers availability on the app. He asked if he could do it later and I rearranged my schedule to accommodate his requested 3pm time. He never showed up and didn't communicate at all. He completely ghosted me. Not a great experience at all.
I really need my job to be done so out of desperation I booked someone else for the next day. Hoping my experience is better but at this time I would not recommend Taskrabbit to a friend.
There's also no customer service support.
I bought $1,200 worth of furniture from Ikea with the recommendation that I call taskrabbit which Ikea owns an interest in to have them assemble my furniture.
I had made an appointment with somebody from taskrabbit and not only did he not show up, he never called to explain why he never showed up.
I went back to Ikea and all I got from them was some email addresses to write to their liaison at taskrabbit and have not heard back from them. When I contacted taskrabbit through their website, they have no phone number to call, all I was told was that there was nobody else available to assemble my furniture.
Stay away, not worth the trouble.
Answer: Mine responded and loved to chat. At the end, he cancelled the appointment. What a waste of time. Very disappointing.
Answer: Hi Carlos, thanks for your inquiry! When registering, a form of payment as well as bank info is required. The form of payment covers the cost of registration and the bank info is linked to your account so that you can receive payment from your Client once you begin tasking.
