T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

Phone service went down 3 to 4 days ago. After MUCH research, the coverage map said there was no interruption in service. After digging deeper we do have a tower being "Updated "... well and good. 4 days no service? And, no projection as to when it will be completed. I dont k ow if i have to wait hours, days, or weeks. Remember, its been 4 days of no service already. Customer service has no answers. I have spent hours trying to get answers. HOURS! Apparently this was a planned service, yet we got no heads up as to possible issues. At this point. T Mobile is a waste of time and money.
This is one of the worst customer service companies I have ever dealt with. We tried to switch our account from sprint to my fiancé's T-Mobile account and get him a new phone because his phone broke (it completely will not turn back on at all). We ended up dealing with this company from 11am to 6pm before we decided to give up and check into other companies. They kept asking for a PIN number to connect to our account yet we forgot the PIN number so they wanted to send a verification code to the broken phone after already telling them it was completely broke. Then they wanted to send it to our email, yet the email they had on file was completely wrong. They had no way to get into our account to help us. One guy lied and said he changed our pin and updated our email until we went to our fourth T-Mobile store for the day and they stillllllllll did not fix the problem! Absolutely ridiculous! Called them again and had to explain our story again, which ended up happening, probably more than 10 times. To say we were majorly irritated is an understatement. We literally tried so hard to stay with this company for them to not even help us. I have been apart of sprint for 17 years, they kept giving us the run around as well.
Got home internet over a year ago, have been lied to ever since on my monthly calls for customer service/outages, being told one lie or another about why my service is so spotty and why my modem needs resetting so often. Ive tried to get a new modem, they replaced the OLD one, with the OLD model, mailing the original back was a MASSIVE runaround hassle, the tmobile LOCATION wouldnt even TALK to me about home internet. "we dont do any of that" "we cant control any of that" weird, you just sold my buddy the new modem from the same EXACT location? WEIRD. Its not worth saving a few bucks when you are CONSISTENTLY resetting, having connection and latency issues, and the customer service isnt even based in this country so none of them care about their job or how happy the customer is, they just tell you itll all be fixed soon. WHEN IS SOON GOING TO COME. Dogsh! T service and dogsh! T connection.
In all fairness they are not as bad as verizon, the cell service is pretty ok. The problem is there customer service. Trying to buy a phone was a nightmare. Every single person that I talked to kept changing and increasing the price. I had the Megenta max, I was never able to acess my netflix and when I finally asked for a supervisor the woman was extreamly rude.
If you decide getting T-mobile service
If you decide getting T-mobile service, make sure you dont believe whatever the sales person says. Do not trust them. They are there to sell and the more they sell, the more commision they make. They are not honest, they try to rob you by just keep saying it is free. Make sure to find out about the monthly charges, equipment return period, and what is the consequence of something which was offered to you for free in case you dont like it. I got robbed, and I am stucked with huge monthly bill for two years. I wish I would never walked to the T Mobile store. What a mistake I made.
Customer service is no help at all. Don't get fooled by their custormer service. They dont solve your issue. They just try justify the bill. If you are not happy, customer service will not give you an inch. I am angry as hell. No one helped me and I can not dispute the charges or cancel the service. I wish I could give a zero star. Pathetic customer service, pathetic sales person, and phatetic manager who I spoke to and watested an hour of my time. I am more frustrated now.
Tmobile sucks, people talk crap about metro but honestly metro is far better than $#*!ty tmobile. Just switched from metro to Tmobile and for 4 yrs I didnt have any problem with metro, ilI just switched because they were giving deals for tradejn iphone 13 and I regret everyday. The data and wifi both doesn't work properly. Don't recommend it, doesn't even deserve 1 star
Got two new phones $600 w/ everything unlimited data and the works. Now I got two good 5G phones with 0G service. I'm not even pay them for the first month I'm so disgusted. I'd be better off sending smoke signals than mess with these thieving foreigners that rips off Americans for their hard working money. Totally disappointed, never will I put my money in TMobile or sprints companies again nothing but terrible and no reliability for a customer.
BE WARE!
TMOBILE YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE BITTEN OFF WAY WAY MORE THAN YOU CAN HANDLE! ALL THIS GARBAGE MERGING WITH OTHER COMPANIES HAVE CAUSED NOT ONLY EMPLOYEES TO LEAVE BUT CUSTOMERS! FIX YOUR DANG SERVICE THAT CUSTOMERS HAVE BEEN PROMISED OR KEEP FEELING IT! BEEN WITH TMOBILE 5 YRS NOW AND THE PAST YEAR HAS BEEN SO BAD WE ARE CONSIDERING PAYING WAY MORE PER MONTH INSTEAD OF DEALING WITH YOUR GARBAGE MUCH LONGER!
T Mobile dropped from decent cell service to CRAP! Does TMobile's account executives really believe by paying for commercials showing all this coverage but providing their customers with under one star service is the best way to do business, or the BEST con? They actually SUCK now. I can't have a conversation with any of my clients without breaking up on the entire call to the point where my client actually hangs up on me because it's so frustrating! I work 9-10 hours per day on this phone and am getting hung up on all day because my clients and I cannot communicate clearly! In my business, like most, it's VERY competitive... I CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE CLIENTS ALL DAY 6 DAYS PER WEEK! I'M SEARCHING NOW to find a clear network. IT'S NOT TMOBILE SINCE THEY STARTED MESSING WITH ALL THE TOURS. YES I HAVE A 5G PHONE! Top of the line. TMOBILE JUST SUCKS NOW!
TMobile owes me $380 for a non return fee for a home internet device that was returned. They have verified that the device was received. Then they gave a bill for an inactive account and sent it to collections to report it on my credit. Been dealing with them for 10 months without a resolution.
STAY AWAY FROM T-MOBILE!
After inquiring about an upgrade in June in store and being very clear with the representative that I was prepared to pay a little more on a new phone but not more than about $5, I was misled into believing that the new phone he suggested was "about" $20 per month, this would be approximately $7 more than the original. After receiving the phone the first bill came in at $95 which was a nasty surprise but I figured it included setup fees etc. The second bill was $83. The cost of the new device is 3 times what I was paying before, NOT just $7 more than the original, which was my stipulation in store. When querying with customer care, I was told to return to the store at 9.30 the next day and an "expert" would call and speak to the store representative and I could return the phone. The store is closed at 9.30am! A further call the next day to customer care revealed that what I was told the previous day, would never have happened and that as the "buyers remorse" period had lapsed there was nothing T-mobile could do.
Returning of the device has NOTHING to do with buyers remorse and everything to do with dodgy in-store "up-selling"! While not being specific about the actual price.
SO, the price misrepresented in store and lied to by an "expert". This is DISGRASEFULL service and treatment of a 3year customer. The entire mess is recorded on the t-mobile call recording system and can be verified!
You can be sure I will move to a different carrier!
There are almost no words to explain my experience with your 'combined' organization. It started 8 hours ago, and right now at 6pm at night, I am still on hold. Mid day all I could do is laugh, by early evening that turned to tears, begging for someone to just help me.
I started my day at 10am my the closest Tmobile store (120th and Dodge). I was informed I wasn't a delegate. So I left, had my husband add me, and then returned back to the store, to get back 'in line'. After 45 minutes I was informed I had to go to the Apple store. I left, and spent the next 2 hours at the Apple store, only to be told I had "assurant' and to go back to Tmobile. I returned to Tmobile and was told they are not a 'tech store' and to call another store. I called, and was told I needed to submit a claim on line. I went on line, and was informed I needed to call. I called and was transferred to 5 people, repeating my story each time. Assurant to Tmobile... This is UNBELIEVABLE. I'm still on hold
It really sucks when you cannot make phone calls to your other phone line. It's been going on for over 2 weeks now. The worst service ever. You need to get this fixed ASAP.
Listen y'all T-Mobile ripped me off too! But I made a phone call to the Better Business Bureau. That might be what y'all need to do.
After being forced to take the T-mobile Sim chip. My cell signal for where I live is spotty, and cuts off my calls. When I was sprint, I could walk around my house talking, and never lose signal. They say their system is better, but I beg to differ. After my plan is up, I am thinking about switching to another provider. Take something good, and mess it up by joining someone else. Very disappointed with the service I get. Compared to sprint, even if they are on the same network now. Sprint was still better, but thats just my opinion.
THESE PEOPLE ARE PRE-OCCUPIED WITH HAVING SEX WITH THEIR GOATS INSTEAD OF HONEST SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS. THEY KEEP TACKING ON MONEY AFTER MONEY AND THIS IS AFTER YOU HAVE PAID YOUR FINAL BILL.
Some lawyer should start a class action against T mobile. Absolutely the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with. They give you a promotion, then six months later take it away. When you protest they say lets see your contract, when they should have that. I say so if the contract says what I am claiming, you will honor it. They said yes. I dug around, found the contract, sent it to them and they claim thats not what they have. Its the contract I signed. I say send me the contract, they claim they sent it to your account, when you go there, there is absolutely nothing but past bills. Avoid these dishonest bastards at all costs.
I had sprint for a reason to get away from this constant reminder of always having to remind tmobile of what I needed as a phone service! Now back at one! I wont deal with this and you can say bye to my payments, I will definitely go somewhere else! Tmobile you are not for me! With no respect $#*! your system!
10 years I've been with Sprint and delt with the poor service and no the disregard for long time customers.
I chose to upgrade my phone and was offered 800 as a trade in towards the new phone but I wasn't allowed to finance the 400 balance. I have a $1,350 with sprint but you won't finance $400.
Bills paid on time.
10 years of service with you
3 devises on my account
Thousands spent with Sprint over the past 10 years along with multiple devises.
You take care of new people like they're gold but not your lifers.
Your loyalty and customer service is crap.
I went to the store and then called customer service to discuss it.
They would give me a lower grade phone and finance that remaining amount but not the one I wanted for 200 more.
Mind blow. Your no better then AT&T
Reception was very poor in my place. T-mobile send me a signal booster. For some reason I never used and forgot. When I moved to Comcast (I recommend) T-mobile put me in Money Collection for this buster. When I finish a deal with them, they didn't find that I owe anything to them. Never recommend. Avoid T-mobile.
Answer: Take the cheapest, clunkiest, most useless data coverage you can imagine. Now imagine it not even working. You pay for something that is USELESS.
Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
