T-Mobile Reviews Summary

T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

T mobile is the devil.
October 17, 2022

I went with T-mobile to get my phones I was told they have no contract. I am so sorry I ever went to them. I was told I could pay off my two phones early but if you pay them off early you still have for the plan that you have for the 24 months they have on your phone but they say they don't have any contract. I asked if I could have my payment date pushed back two weeks as I am on Social Security and that's when I get my check. They never told me they were going to charge me $70 for two weeks to push the payment back. When I called and asked them what the $70 was for they lied to me and said the equipment went up. I am paying $192.88 for two phones a month that's ridiculous and that's with me turning in my iPhone 11. Don't sign any papers if you're going to get a phone with them make sure you have the money to pay it off right away. They lie right to your face tell you what you want to hear once you sign papers they have you I hope they all go to hell.

Bunch of crooks
October 16, 2022

Been with spectrum, boost, and metro pcs before they became t-mobile... by far the worst phone company of them all... never once have we gotten the bill we signed up for(always more) claimed no contract come to find out we have to stay with them for 2 years to get the thing we were promised (forced contract) horrible costumer service. Liars.
Crooks and cheats... do yourselves a favor and go to spectrum. They were a good company...

I have been T-Mobile customer for over five years. Today I went to store to upgrade my phone and was told if they helped me then I will have to pay $35 for assisted service. Or else I should do upgrade online. I tried doing it online only to find they made the online interaction so very hard.

In today's customer centric world where every company is trying to be most customer centric T-Mobile is going in opposite direction = make life hard for customers or make money on serving them.

I hope T-Mobile learns something before it is too late for them.

T-Mobile store at Cherry Hill Mall in NJ. 2000 NJ-38 Space 1880, Cherry Hill, NJ *******
Lazy a## customer service rep Natality with a nasty attitude. Sitting on top of a table, no proper greeting. Asked about iphone restocking fee, "I don't know look on the receipt". Get off your lazy a##, pull up your customer's account. Look like accurate information to give to the customer. Walked in the Apple store across, smiling and greeting. This store should be shut down.

T-Mobile is not trustworthy!
October 14, 2022

I have been a customer of Sprint for about 20 years. Now they're owned by T-Mobile. The warranty is a joke! The options for equipment repair involve putting the entire cost of a new phone on your credit card. No equipment replacement until this is done. All options involve sending your phone out for repair. What's the point of the warranty I'm paying for every month? Customer service cannot speak English and it's extremely noisy in their call center. T-Mobile takes advantage of their customers! Nearest service location 40 miles driving distance.

Dont Buy anything from this company. They are rip off artists. They fraudulently charged me $227.00 I would never do business with this company. I have paid my bill the entire time and needed to return a home internet unit which was suppose to be the $227.00 charge which took a act of GOD to get to them after repeated calls visits. Please pass this along. I will be a on a crusade to every customer NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

Very Very disapointmened with this company probably the worst phone company I ever ever had. Worst customer service they will not work with you pay them every time I get paid and what i have and it isnt enough come to find out I have been paying for a phone that was shut off a year and half ago my daughter moved I shut off service and she has new number, the old phone cant even make calls, when i asked why I have been charged for this when it was turned offf I got run around have to look into it. It has been I month now and they shut my service off. They owe me 100s of dollars and they have nerve to shut off my service when Im paying them 300 a month when it should only be 120. I would never ever recommend them. I may need to find an attorney and report to better business burrow. I was very happy with cricket got to cricket.

We used Sprint personally for over a decade. We used Sprint for our business for several years. We NEVER had an issue with service or devices. Since the switch to T Mobile, I have to spend an hour or so every few weeks to figure out why my phone cannot receive text messages or phone calls. They lied to me initially, stating that I could keep my paid off Galaxy in the switch. When I went in to get a new sim card, my phone was suddenly no longer compatible with their network, but I could finance a NEW phone! I chose the cheapest option, trading in my 1200 phone for $120 credit toward a BRAND NEW 5G COMPATABLE ONE PLUS PHONE! Since then, I have had constant issues with receiving phone calls meant for my business resulting in an unprofessional image to my vendors and customers and hours of frustration trying to figure out the problem myself while the text chat supporters give me the tech support version of thoughts and prayers.

When t mobile took over metropcs their service went downhill - FAST! I upgraded to 5G. Most times I can't get service if the weather is bad or conditions cloudy. At one point the service knocked out and my doctor had to call my emergency contact to get a message to me. I keep hoping the service will get better, but it doesn't appear that t mobile or metropcs cares. Right now I'm looking into getting another phone carrier. Maybe if they start loosing customers because of their poor service, they do something about it to satisfy ALL their customers.

DO NOT GET TRAPPED
October 10, 2022

Gradually increase your bill with bs charges, then fail to disclose full info when switching providers so you're stuck still paying them monthly. Refused to take full "balance owed" payment over the phone. JOYCE, EMPLOYEE ID #******* had me on the phone for almost 2 hours, consistently trying to end our call and COMPLETELY refused to let me talk to a manger/supervisor. Refused to give me a manager/supervisor name says it's "against policies and procedures". Lol. Refused to email me any information we spoke about, including the ridiculous policy of not telling me who her supervisor is. TMOBILE IS A SCAM - RUN!

October 9, 2022

I wish I could give this company minus zero!
It's the worst!
Most of the time no internet or extremely slow!
Constantly dropping calls. Sometimes every 10 seconds. It's a nightmare.
I would not recommend it at all.

I am absolutely appalled at how they handled customer service. We worked with an Angela I believe for about 3 hours and the 1 phone I wanted wasn't out yet an so I was going back and forth with the 3 Samsung S22's and said to her and another worker I absolutely no way would ever take the Samsung 21 FE. I decided on the regular S22 and there were other boxes from my husband's phone and cases ect. I didn't look at my phone till after dinner and found out she gave me the phone I said I absolutely didn't want. When we went back they tell me I have to pay the restocking fee even though it's her fault plus the screen protector there is nothing they can do about it I will have to buy a new one for the new phone and no credit for the phone she screwed up on. SERIOULY? Oh but they will be able to return the case how nice of them. Thanks for the great customer service on your mistake. YOU SHOULD NOT CHARGE A RESTOCKING CHARGE AND PUT THE SCREEN PROTECTER TORWARD THE CORRECT PHONE AND SAME THING WITH THE CASE! It is the proper thing to do when your employee screws up! Wish I could give negitive 10 stars. I can not believe they are not willing to help the customer with there Era. I was back right away it's not like I came back weeks later. Very poor customer service and very bad for there business.

Bad Customer Service
October 9, 2022

I went to T Mobile store located at 1215 W Pioneer Pkwy Ste 270 Grand Prairie, TX ******* Friday10/7/202. The manager is who one who assisted me. I needed a screen protector replaced and he told me were out and he would order me one. I located one not even 2 minutes after he placed the order so I showed him and asked him to cancel the order and he said No, I already placed it and you will have to wait now. I was having some info transferred from my phone and was waiting. Well, he goon to a worker because she did not insist a person buy the phone and told her next time you tell them we do not give out price quotes they need to buy something. Now, I drive out of my way to go to this location and will have to drive even further to go elsewhere. Truly thinking of leaving T Mobile after 14 years of being with T Mobile. I picked up a change phone so I have no proof.

Gateway device
October 9, 2022

I mailed the device 4 months ago. You received the package. If you did not receive the device you would have a note by the person who opened the package. The device was received by you. If you cannot find it, it means you replaced it. You have guts to keep charging me for it and I keep disputing it month after month. It does not take so many months to do any inquiry. Get to work t-mobile.
