T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

My Speed averages about 4 to 5 mbps, at nights drops down to less than 1mbps. They have replaced my modem and all they say is to get a different service. When I started with them it was over 40mbps.
I WOULDN'T recommend my dog get T-Mobile service. Y'all take people money and don't give it back. Y'all are the MOST WORSE AND WORTHLESS service provider I ever seen. That's why I'm with a number 1 service provider. Customer service gets a half star. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM T-MOBILE. I rather have a government phone than T-Mobile service or phone. T-Mobile go to hell. If y'all were on fire I would dance around and be happy. DO NOT GET T-MOBILE! STAY AWAY! DANGER DANGER DANGER! I HOPE BY THE GRACE OF GOD YALL DIMINISH LIKE SMOKE IN THE AIR.
When I took a 2 line T mobile Magenta max connection along with a home internet, I was told I would be getting a $20 discount on the home internet. They did not honour that promise and kept charging me $ 50. When I call up they would refund $20. Now they said that promotion is no more available. They come out with promotions to hook up consumers and thereafter go back on their words. What a third rate company is T- mobile? What's the agency in US to complaint against such poor customer servicers and cheating?
I loathe trying to talk or text with any of the T-Mobile "experts" (they call them) I am chronically having to decipher what they are trying to say. The T-Mobile service is OK, not bad not stellar...but the customer service is like a trip to Dante's Inferno. I have wasted at least 2 hours in the past 2 days just trying to order and track a new iphone (which I spent $1399 for) No promotions for me, of course. The worst part is the communications. I feel I am constantly talking with someone who is not a native english speaker and I have a hard time deciphering what they are actually trying to tell me. For instance - this comment was made on text when I asked what the delivery date will be for my phone "the estimated date that your order will be delivered is on 11/19 and 11/20 and once it is ready to shipped to extend my help I will be reaching you for you to be updated." What in the WORLD does this mean? OMG SO I am not a happy T-Mobile customer - of 3 years. But to be fair customer service seems to be a lost art with every company.
I just called T Mobile about the problems my mom and I were having in connecting our cellphones calls to the T Mobile towers in our area. Fortunately, Angelica Joyce who was/is the technician who assisted me, helped me solve this problem on both phones, and also provided me all the information I
Needed to know about the internet connections. I was so. Pleased with her services, because not only did she helped me solve this problem, but she also made my day with her lovely personality. I am happy to say that SHE MADE MY DAY! And also say, that T Mobile has great costumer services. Thank you Angelica and T Mobile for having Keep up the good work.
I cancelled my T-Mobile account on October 22,2021 for failing to provide reliable internet service during normal business hours for the last 4 weeks of my service because of work being performed at the cell site location I use, as per my location. In summary T-Mobile broke the agreement made with me for the unlimited plan I had.
The $75 charge is a cumulated summary of x3 $25 penalties for months after I had to cancelled the account. T-Mobile continued to invoke an "auto-pay" each month with a $25 penalty after they cancelled the account. So, they continued to carry the account forward each month after the October 22,2021 cancellation. This is NOT acceptable to me.
Here is a direct quote from Taylor Ouzts of T-Mobile Offline Services
"As of the date of this letter (December 22,2021), the account reflects a $0.00 balance. You should have received a final revised billing statement within seven business days of December 14,2021, which served as confirmation of the $0.00 balance (this subject to change if any payments are backed out by your financial institution. As the account previously received a service adjustment, T-Mobile processed a same-day cancellation and the system automatically adjusted for unused services following the cancellation, we find the charges to be valid and accurate as billed."
In summary, my account was always up to date with T-Mobile. They failed to provide the service I paid for after being very patient and I had to switch cell carriers. Customer service said that it will be back to normal when the cell site work is completed…they did not tell me this was going to be several weeks.
Additionally, due to the incompetence of T-Mobile's Data Management organization my personal information, Drivers License, Address, SS#, phone number, etc. were uploaded to the DARK WEB in a data breech affecting millions of T-Mobile subscribers, as I was informed by the McAffee Identity Theft organization and my primary financial institution CapitalOne that my data was found on the DARK WEB after their routine security searches.
So, the account was cancelled October 22,2021 and they continued to invoke auto-pay for months after the cancellation claiming $25/mo x3 months after. I do not owe T-Mobile anything.
I spent a total of 11 hours spanned over 3 days to try to straighten to get my phone to work. Couldn't make any calls, kept getting "restricted and unavailable" msg. Got so frustrated dealing with thier customer servcie and decided to just close my account. Only to find out the "NO CONTRACT" phone service has a 24 months contract that's tied to the phone. If i port out my phone number to a different carrier, the devices will be due in full; so the free phone that i received will not be free anymore and need to be paid for in full along with the other phone that i have been making payments. The phone that i've been making payment has a 24 mo. Contract and the free phone has a 30 mo. Contract that i was not aware of as that was never brought up when i signed up for service. So don't be fool by the "NO CONTRACT" service offer. Unless you plan to stay with them for 24 mo. Or 30 mo. STAY AWAY, there are better companies to work with.
I used to suggest TMobile to all my friends and relatives. This is no longer the case. In the last year, their service has gotten horrible. They've added lines incorrectly to our account through promotion mistakes and have been unable to remove them. At one time Tmobile had incorrectly added seven lines to our account with only four people on the account. They said it was representative errors, or that I had been tricked into adding line but they were unable to remove them. I spent HOURS on the phone with them and in store only to have representatives say each time it was all fixed but it never was. Finally two months ago I closed my entire account. I was also assured it was closed and I check to see I no longer had access to any account info online. Today they auto drafted $140 from my account stating that one of the fraudulent lines that I had reported as being assigned to us in error was still active. They still are trying to charge me for a line, service and phone that is not in use for a total of around $800 total. Again they assured me the line is close but I never receive any invoices or bills or paperwork documenting what they are charging me for...just a representative that says "take my word for it." I've reported TMobile to the BBB so I DO NOT RECOMMEND them.
If you get an advertisement in the mail about the 55+ deal for $27.50 it's a LIE! I called and the guy was like it's $27.50 per line for 2 lines. So I said I only need 1 line so that should be $27.50 right NO it will be $40! Liars! It's all misleading don't fall for it!
I cancel 4 lines for hardship, live reasons, 4 no later said I had 2 more lines that didn't know about
Tmobile never keep his promises, they charge you a different price each month, their service are bad and expensive for no reason. Don't use this company.
We switched our business phones to t mobile we immediately had problems.customer service is non existent. After loosing our customers and revenue we switched to at&t.paid t mobile account in full and they refused to send receipt or unlock devices so i could switch to another carrier. Lawsuit forthcoming
If you live in southeast Ohio don't get T mobile. Their cell service is horrible. I am going back to Verizon
The customer service is atrocious. I was trying to replace my phone (Note 20 Ultra) with my warranty. I have been transfered 6 times. I had to repeat my situation each time. The last person I talked to said he had to call me back because they were having issues with their phone connection. Before getting off the phone he said a number and I'm not sure if that's the number he will be calling me on or saying a number that was supposed to be my number. He just said the number and hung up. I guess he is calling the wrong number, I haven't heard from him since. Terrible. I need my phone (of course). One of my issues is that the phone won't charge.
I do not recommend using T-Mobile for anything they are terrible they always overcharge your bills shut your service off for no reason when your bills already paid the weekend stuff can't even speak English and they are horrible today I spent an hour and 15 minutes on the phone with these people! Better beware do not use T-Mobile f******
Me: ASK ME HOW TMOBILE ( in Grandville Michigan) stole my iphone!
I'll tell you: they make you think you can take a phone as a trade-in, then they pressure you and lie to you about getting into a 2 year contract with android phone deal(my dumbass believed they were HELPING me with good deal), then they said "you have 2 weeks to return phone and cancel contract if you dont like your new phone"
Well I changed my mind in 7 days, I go back and they would not return my iphone back, I didnt know what to do. Still to this day I will ask ppl to go to Verizon! Even boost!
DON'T MAKE BUSINESS W/TMOBILE. They are trained to lie to humble ppl and not so knowledgeable ppl about plans and deals! I am a single parent and they lied to me kept my iPhone and took the new phone back. Left me without a phone period. I struggled to get passed it. I struggled to buy a new phone
Was given a free exchange phone. Old phone sent after new phone delivered. Used shipping label sent by tmobile. Now I am being told the phone was not rec. Even though trking indicates it was. Tmobile is trying to charge me for the free exchange phone.
Horrible customer service, agents don't know what they're doing. Had to call multiple times with different answers from them and weeks later, they still didn't unlock my phone I paid for
At my age 71 I expect to make a mistake become confused or aggravated when it comes to learning new features on smartphones. In the last 18 years I've owned no less than 25 different style smartphones...
Honestly. Everything from water damage, dropped and ran over, dropped from a excessive height, and the last phone LG 6 mysteriously just totally quit. I refuse to pay $500 or $700 for God damn phone that's stupid. I'm not trying to impress anybody and there's nobody I want to talk to that f****** bad.
So I ended up replacing it with a T-Mobile cost me $220 phone. I don't even know the model. But here's what I do know. NEVER found anything so complicated user unfriendly malfunctioning lock me out. I can't call or text, even baffle people at T-Mobile trying to make it function correctly. Sun 13th will been 6 days. I've never been so God damn mad wanted to throw this bastard into the outer atmosphere You Know "Space" please forgive my inappropriate language I have two degrees a master on one. I've never had anything in my life so disappointing mind-boggling. I'm really at a loss describing, there's nothing to compare it to. It's that bad. Chris Peters
Flat out lied to by the person who sold me to change to this company, told my bill would be 75 dollars a month, it's 114. Never paid off my verizon balance, now its in collections and my credit is ruined. Also suffered lgbt discrimination here even tho they claim to be lgbt friendly and give out rainbow tmobile tuesdays socks. A joke. I hate tmobile.
Answer: Take the cheapest, clunkiest, most useless data coverage you can imagine. Now imagine it not even working. You pay for something that is USELESS.
Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
