T-Mobile Reviews Summary

T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

T-Mobile buys out sprint
December 2, 2022

As we all know, T-Mobile bought out sprint. This is the worst buy out I've experienced as a customer. As a sprint customer, I keep getting the run around at T-Mobile stores "I can't touch sprint accounts"…okay well I keep getting texts that say my mifi is no longer compatible because of T-Mobile but yet the stores can't do anything about it. Needless to say, I'm jumping ship and starting new elsewhere. I hope all Sprint customers do so as well.

I purchased a Samsung watch with my phone. The watch quit working in August and they sent a replacement that wasn't the same color watch. I sent it back back and received another watch that wasn't the same so I sent that back. The the third watch was also the wrong color a d when I called customer service they explained that with warranty replacements I have to accept what they send and it may not be the same as what I bought. Now the fun begins, I was charged $500 in late fees for not returning one of the watches on time. Turns out it was lost at the warehouse. I then spent hours and numerous phone calls trying to get the fees removed. I thought I finally had it resolved when they billed me again for them. Three months and a dozen hour long phone calls I may have it resolved 3 months later. Worst customer service ever!

T mobile a joke
November 30, 2022

I am paying for three phones on my account due to technical issues with each of them. I thought getting I phone 12 and paying 160 down would resolve issues, not even close. I phone 12 within weeks Sarai would not open websites and as I was transferring my number to Verizon. Still had T-Mobile service and made calls, due to how much T-Mobile stinks calls would not go through or could not call 211. Glad I am now with Verizon. Nor10Plus was a free phone then T-Mobile started charging 9.99 per month. Paramount plus they say pay for a year. Not the case during set up they told me to put my card on file with paramount. They are liars stay away from T-Mobile wish sprint would come back.

Not surprising
November 30, 2022

I've been researching home internet and cell phone plan options. I was very interested in T-Mobile although their overall reputation is that they kind of suck. But I was willing to give it a go. I was going to try the home internet even understanding it might be a little bit different than what I have but it's got to be better than AT&T! So I just went to a store to get some more information. There were two sales people there. One woman was there. So obviously they were not busy. I started asking some questions and they have no offers on the home internet. Additionally they've added a $35 initial charge-you can call it what you want. Which means the difference between their cost per a year compared to AT&T is $2 difference a month. I know that if you bundle services you can get a better rate so I started talking about plans. I asked if they could put together what my options were. I was told once they do a credit check they can. So I'm supposed to walk into a store give them my social security number so they can see if there might be a plan I might like? No wonder nobody goes there.

New phone scam
November 30, 2022

I'm a 19 yr loyal customer. In July 2022 I went into the t-mobile store in Santa Maria, CA on Betteravia rd to look into upgrading my Samsung galaxy s 10. I was told l qualified for a galaxy s22 with the trade in of my s10. Great. On Aug 1st i received my bill, they added the phone to a payment plan. I called 611, they removed the charge. Sep 1, they added the charge back in, I called they removed it. Oct 1 they added the charge back in, I called 611 and they removed it. Nov 1, I called, they fixed it, here it is Dec. I need to make another call. T-mobile once again screwed it up. I'm considering cutting my losses and switching to ATT or Verizon. I'm ready to kiss 19 year goodbye. This is how they treat loyal customers.

Unhelpful. Rude. Dishonest. Don't go with T-Mobile. Definitely don't go to the Marshfield WI location. Some of the worst interactions I've ever had, in my life. They're trying to get a commission, not help people. Very unhappy to be stuck with them in a two-year contract.

Just watch your bill!
November 26, 2022

Paid $178 for 19 months receiving a $60 credit each month. Now no credit being issued so bill is $239. Only have to pay higher rate until May. Hopefully this will straighten out. The service is very good in my area and the equipment is great. Billing -- not so good.

Shiesty and over charging
November 22, 2022

I switched to T-Mobile July of this year and that was the DUMBEST decision I made the whole year of 2022 I started off with just home internet and that's probably where I should've stayed to be honest my modem stop working I instantly called 611 and was told just unplug the device in take into the store nearest you well I ended up using both hot spots entirely and was still billed the same awwww I didn't mention the store on 58th and Kedzie just up in moved in I'm sure I know why this guy took my money for a screen protector and cases and pocketed the money and set me up for a 13 month installment plan now REALLY they only cost $5 $10 top at Walmart see what I mean just grimmy one of my iPhones was stolen not even a week into my first month with them I suspended the line and was still charged the entire bill I spoke with a(EXPERT‍) and was told I can get on a payment plan because I voice to them my bills were due all at once in I was no longer working to me this a god send so I went to the app to pay my bill and was short maybe $35 from the $177 payment but I'll load the money in my card as soon as a store that loads cash onto prepaid debit cards we'll tell me why that $35 turned in. A little over $100 T mobile are crooks ‍

REALLY?!?!
November 22, 2022

16 calls at least in 3 weeks, complete waste of time. T-Mobile you don't send a SIM card with my new OnePlus 10 Pro. (actually uses 2) 3 weeks later it arrives. In the interim T-Mobile gave me grief in texts and emails about returning my current device. Well... How does it activate, migrate data, run, without one? Then 6 calls to activate the SIM. Then 3 calls (at least to migrate data. Finally the Philippines got OnePlus on the phone in France. 4 minutes later, success! Thank you T-MobilePhilippines! THANK YOU ONEPLUS! Shame on you T-Mobile US! 4 missed scheduled callbacks! Really. Makes me feel real (NOT) warm and fuzzy about being a customer over 6yrs.

Don't do it, you will regret it
November 22, 2022

I signed up for their internet. The device came in 2 days with a $35 activation fee but it never connected to the majority of my devices. There were no instructions provided. I spent hours attempting to connect my television. After I gave up I tried contacting t-mobile to return the device. It took them at least 2 hours and several emails to send me a return label. I returned the equipment for the company to tell me the $35 sign up fee was non refundable. Of course they didn't mention that until after they had their device back and they sent an e-mail that my refund would be $0.00.
What cowards!
I tried to contact them for a refund and was put through vigorous sign in attempts asking for me to log in through their app which I had deleted weeks prior. Finally get someone who attempts to help me and offers a prepaid gift card. Total crooks!

We were at the t mobile at 1204 Millersville Pk Space #19, Lancaster, PA ******* to check out what you have to offer for senior citizens. We were waiting a long time for a sales person as they were working on other people. So we sat down and waited, then another person came in after us, and the sale people helped her instead. We were furious that because she was standing up and we were sitting down they tried to help her 1st. We left the store very upset. That is not customer service

The service from the store representitives was great and they were friendly however the card purchased for my phone didnt work, nor did a subsequent card we installed. Perhaps the company policies need to be changed so customers are able to get a refund for things that they are unable to get to work. I am not sure but perhaps it may have been my phone and older technology but if that were the case, the tmobile representitives should have been aware of that, and stated that due to the outdated programming or age of the phone, it will not work. Regardless, we were unable to get a refund on the sim card that did not work in the phone and I feel that it is wrong to have to pay for a service that did not work.
