T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

Tried their service for a month on a month to month plan because thinking of switching. Service is no better than Verizon. Cancel service pay their final bill of $80.4 with Créid card and no saying they can't fine it. Send them a copy of the Créid card statement and they don't care. Now it's in collections and RPM was sent 5 paid statements and still say pay us and we look into it. STAY AWAY FROM T-MOBILE
Ordered a gateway internet device during a promo they had. Which was demo for 3 weeks for no charge and if I didn't like it I could send it back. I ended up trying to request a refund 2 days in only to learn they wouldn't not accept their own promo and they would bill me for the time. Which was fine. I wanted them out of my life. Only to spend 40 minutes on the phone to be hung up on and an hour and 15 minutes in a chat with one of their workers asking questions like," will anyone in your family want to use this if you cancel?" Especially when I was only chatting and calling to cancel. To which the worker told me I would not be charged for the cancelled service. Now we fast forward to the end of my first and last billing cycle. I had to call again and be on hold again to ensure they actually cancelled my service (they did not) and they wanted my monthly bill payment after I sent their gateway back. All in all a waste of time, money and effort. If you'd like to save any of those and the grey hairs they give you. Just stay away
They tell you one thing and that tell you another. Horrible customer service. Will still charge you for service if you cancel! DO NOT USE THIS CARRIER FOR YOUR CELL SERVICE
We have been with Sprint since 2012 and this is the worst customer service experience I've ever had! EVER
WE'VE BEEN on the PHONE with them 24/7 every week! I'M SOOOOOO OVER AND DONE WITH THEM! WE'RE LOOKING RIGHT NOW FOR A competitor to take and transfer these phones right now!
Nothing but problems. Think you have one solved and next month same thing, over and over. The insurance company they partner with "assurant" total scam.
Been with them 13 yrs. Love TMobile. Talked to a lady named Nina from the Phillipines earlier. She was AMAZING!
Disgusting customer service that's T-Mobil! The support service manager cannot correctly take the card details for process to the automatic payment. It's not professional. But, they don't even try to correct their mistakes and apologize, they try to take more money from you and convince you that it's your fault. It's easier to use free wi-fi in a cafe than to do business with this company.
Customer service is horrible. When emergencies happen they do not want to help. They don't care about their customers at all. Do not get T-Mobile. Save yourself the headache and hassle
I canceled my business account in November
I'm still getting bills! I've been told that this is not correct. Now it's a final bill?
Non-English speaking
No supervisors available
Noone knows who to connect to
Really?!
They don't even ask for an account number!
It's a joke!
Been with tmobile about 11 years. Equipment is average, coverage is good not great, customer service is horrible. It seems a language barrier or understanding of simple issues. This is what happens when a company is more interested in profits and outsources everything sacrificing customer service. Having to explain over and over to c.s. Reps and when they get frustrated they hang up on you. I would never recommend tmobile, I'm looking for another business carrier as I write this.
Went into a T-Mobile store in Spring Hill Mall in West Dundee Illinois. Talk to a nice gentleman named Taylor that ended up being a scam artist a liar. I walked out of T-Mobile store thinking my bill would be $175 ended up being $250 for the first two months then it went all the way up to $375 for the last four months in today. I'm ending my T-Mobile contracts find the phones out and saying I won't back to Verizon.
Scummy marketing practices. When I ordered a new line, there was one price in the cart but they doubled it and said after billing me that I wasn't eligible for the promotion but would not refund charges.
Paid deposit then decided not to get there service so called and canceled the dirty basterds kept my deposit I will never even think about t-mobile again even if it was free NEVER AGAIN
Avoid being lured in by overcharged phone plans offering " free phones "which usually will total to 5 times mores than what you would of just paid upfront. They're 80 dollar a month plan gets added fees which will bring you up to around 100-130 a month. Ridiculous. Be careful canceling as well as if you even do it one day after your billing cycle they will charge your for the full month. Never will I ever suppose T-Mobile again.
Tmobile will never tell you the truth. They will over bill you. You will not get any customer service watsoever. Buyers beware. You will be sorry if you sign a contract with them.
Phone broke, mgr defect- Samsung flip. Had the insurance- they charged $100 even though it was defect. They sent the wrong phone( they send fold instead of flip)Spent a month trying to get correct one(flip). Finally received flip and sent fold back and have tracking number showing received. Then they say they did not receive the flip back. Well that's because you sent us a fold not a flip. They agree they received the fold. They charge us. For a flip- which of course was never sent because someone screwed up and sent a fold which they received back. 5 months later- hundreds of hours of phone calls weekly and every annoying customer service person and mgr you talk to tells you they see the problem and it will be fixed in 7-10 days. Yet for some reason it's 5 months later. And the same thing repeats again, same conversations same explanation yet no one can seem to fix the issue. They sent the wrong phone but because we didn't send back the one we were supposed to get(because we received fold instead) their computer says it wasn't returned. This is ridiculous and the straw that makes us give up on TMOBILE.as they are beyond incompetent.
They told me I had until the 29th to make my payment, than turn my number off on the 19th and charge me $20 per line plus all kinds of late fee close to an additional $100 to turn the service back on. I'll be changing cell provider ASAP. Stay away from T-mobile if you want an honest cell provider company
They only steal money! The customer service is a bunch of total incompetents! After spending hours with them they still couldn t resolve my issue! My paid phone is still unlocked! If you want frustration in your life go for this company!
I had call t mobile 3 days talk to manager managers all 3 days they said they would call me back and did so I call back ask to speak to manager over there head they said I can't and they can't they will send them a email it will take a week for them to get back t mobile have made my address public this is not kool I have someone trying to kill me and now t mobile has help them find me I ask t mobile to take my address down they said they can't they make everybody address public this not kool I have the police involved now
Answer: Take the cheapest, clunkiest, most useless data coverage you can imagine. Now imagine it not even working. You pay for something that is USELESS.
Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
