T-Mobile's reputation is marred by significant customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived deceptive practices regarding promotions and service quality. Many customers report issues with billing, unresponsive customer service, and difficulties in resolving problems, leading to frustration and a sense of betrayal. While some reviews acknowledge initial satisfaction with service and product offerings, the overwhelming sentiment reveals a trend of distrust and disappointment, particularly concerning support after the sale. This feedback suggests a pressing need for T-Mobile to enhance its customer service approach and better honor promotional commitments to rebuild trust and retain customers.

I really hope I can give them negative reviews. Their system error messed up my bill, and they insist charging you the extra fees was valid. Plus, their customer services will never admit what the other representative just said or promised. They will put a notice under your account, and form a team to cheat and play with you instead of solving the issue.
I started with Nextel, then carried over to Sprint and now T-Mobile. Since it became T-Mobile, it is an absolute nightmare.they deceived me and put me on a lease plan even though I told them I wanted to buy a phone outright, and we didn't notice it until I paid for the phone about three times, and they were completely unhelpful, sent me a copy of the lease agreement, which was not signed, and I had never seen in my life, then day refused to refund one penny of the overpay. The only thing they would do was change in their records that the phone is mine not a lease. This is a iPhone 8 with a turn in value of $17. Then my husband passed away and I needed to cancel the account. I didn't have access to the account number, as it was all in his name, and I had terrible trouble, so I called them and ask them to tell me the account number and the transfer pin, and they flat out refused to help me, told me that it couldn't be done by anybody on the phone I would need to wait 7 to 10 business days for a callback number. That's how they treat someone who was recently widowed. And by the way, my husband worked for them since they were Nextel, and there was never ever any trouble like this till T-Mobile took over, I never saw such malarkey in my life. I wouldn't do business with them if they were giving away phones and service for free.
Mobile phone paid monthly and unable to send messages. Made me waste hours on phone and unresolved. Can't text. Made me delete redownload change all settings. Terrible service. Girl screamed in my ear as she picked up.
For starters, I've been waiting on a credit for roaming fees that are NOT valid charges since October, it is now February and nothing has been done and I have spoke with several reps, supervisor's and manager's and my $1,198.25 credit has still not been applied to my account and they cut my services off on all 5 lines that I have with them and I've been a loyal customer for 17 years. This is ridiculous! The right hand has no clue of what the left hand is doing. I will definitely be terminating all my lines and going to Verizon where they actually care about their customers.
Car mechanic fixed my TMobile phone - something that no T-Mobile employee could do after a week of calls and visits to store.
I switched to Tmobile and was told I would be able to keep my number. Upon making a call I discovered I DID NOT HAVE THE SAME NUMBER! I called tmobile back and was told it would take 7-10 days to switch my #. Since this was a work phone I could not accept that and cancelled the phone and went back to my old service. For 3 months t-mobile continued to withdrawl money from my account. I called numerous times and was finally issued a refund for two months and told I would have to call back for the 3rd. I continued to get bills even with a cancellation verification #. I also had a verification # for the refund that I never recieved. I call every month and I can never get this settled. The sim card was used for one call and thrown away. Today I recieved a bill for $242.83 and my credit report shows 120 days past due for an account that was cancelled. I repeatedly ask for a supervisor and am given the run around and I can barely understand the person on the phone. I will gladly pay double the price for my phone service with another company than ever deal with this again. Not to mention they started sending Bills to my work address that I never game them. Worse experience of my life! I would have given 0 start except it would not allow me!
Never been treated so poorly as I was by t-mobiles late night customer service, and I was with Verizon for 16 years, so I have dealt with my share of cell phone jerks. These were the worst of them all though
Phone carrier that has the most educated customer service reps out there. Always polite. Treats you with respect and compassion. Fixes any issue I have ever encountered over the years. Thanks T-Mobile!
T-mobile on Foxcroft in Martinsburg WV - Customer service from the store has been good, but the phones we bought when we were transferred from Sprint are a nightmare. OnePlus Nord N10 is a fine phone when it works. But it is buggy as hell. And this is not just a lemon - we got three of them and they have all been bad. One phone has been replaced once or twice, and the refurb phones they give us are exactly the same. Display will go dim to the point of being unreadable in any light, and phone has to be rebooted. Video recording will frequently crash. Sometimes the pink screen of death that requires a complete factory reset. Everyday, even multiple times a day. I just had video recording crash 5 times in a row before I restarted the phone. Warranty is useless. These phones aren't broken - they are all just crap and when you complain you just get another one. Very dissatisfied.
I have been with T-Mobile for 20 years. The last year they have gone downhill so bad. It's pathetic you call and you get these foreigners but you can have understand who don't know what they're doing or don't want to do it and they switch it back and forth and want to keep you on the line telling you this and that and they tell you they take care of it and lo and behold 3 days later or two weeks later it's right back. I've been with them for 20 years. I'm trying to get a pin number to transfer my phone number. I have been doing that for 4 days now. 4 days and I still haven't got it. They do not know what they're doing. I would not recommend T-Mobile to anybody. Nobody 18 years ago. They were good but they're garbage now
The worst customer services supervisor don't know what they are doing to get you they tell you something when the bill comes is something else a lot more money and all they same you sing nothing we can do, don go with t-mobile, Verizon is a lot bette
T Mobile is selling a Manufacturing defective Z fold phone for 2000.00 with just a 1 yr. Warranty per T Mobile.doesn't matter how many new Z folds they replace.you only have 1 yr from T Mobile Purchase. However Samsung has 1 yr. On the phone.so my first Z fold only went 9 Mos before factory defect screen cracked all in fold.replaced by T Mobile.to only receive another defective Z fold less than 6 mos... which T Mobile will not honor warranty on the phone.furthermore TMobile Customer Care Services for over a week in trying to speak to a Manager or even a Managers boss
Have laughed at me (Rep. Amanda).Supervisor Allan lied to me as well Manager Kim lying to me and most recently Manager Rueben.hours of phone tag and chats which will result in redonedant questioning to the point of evassive action T Mobiles part. Most Terrible Network their is...I will not stop informing and showing everyone and everywhere I go.and as for Samsung never buy another Samsung product again and or T Mobile POS Network.
First unit quit working after a week sent another they can't hook service up again sent to store 4 times, only agents who can't speak good English and not able to finish hook up unit, bad service company and store,
I wanted to switch over to T-Mobile from AT&T due to 5G availability where I currently live. This was the worst experience I have EVER had with a cell phone service. When setting up the account they misspelled my last name, therefore my card would not go through to authorize the account. I had to call back and they couldn't find the account after I told them multiple times that my last name was misspelled. Then, when setting up my eSim they disabled my service and said I would get a text message with instructions on next steps. This never came through. So now I am without cell phone service in the middle of work... let's just say I called AT&T and begged them to take me back. NEVER AGAIN!
I won a free tablet( ha) at a fair. Nothing is free was told I had to sign up for discounted service for 12 months immediately I did what a foolish thing to do, don't do it. When my first bill arrive I did receive the discount but they changed the terms to 24 months ( the first lie). When attempting to set up the pad it didn't work was told by the representative at one of the stores to bad we don't guarantee giveaways and more that 14 days had past ( it had been 19 days before I attempted set up) so much for there service. So I've paid for 18 months for service that I've never received and at my fault I let payment go overdue and they canceled the service that I never received and now have to pay for the free tablet or be taken to collections. MY ADVICE IS STAY AWAY FROM T-MOBILE
I have been with Sprint for a very long time then it became TMobile. I have struggled paying my bill and they gave me chances and when my bill was high I was given time Now that I don't owe alot they don't. The representative were not kind or helpful..
I find it truly amazing how this company is still in business. Terrible on all fronts. If you want to be scammed, lied to, degraded, or just looking for a bad experience, TMobile is your company!
I have been a Sprint customer since 2001. My service was great until the T-Mobile/Sprint merger was completed. Since then my signal is in reliable. I upgraded my phone, Galaxy S21. Changed the SIM card to a T-Mobile card. Service got worse. I frequently cannot send or receive texts make and receive calls. No one at T-Mobile can explain why. This was hyped up as the biggest 5G network and greatest network. After 22 years I am considering AT&T, Verizon or CSpire. My contract ends in March 2023 so it may be goodbye to T-Mobile. Customer service is great, but having reliable service is what I pay for.
Chester, employee #******* and Chloe employee #******* gave me all the reasons why my service has not been fixed the last 2 years. I've been given all the excuses, they don't care if I lose money due to bad cell phone signal (5 bars and hangs up on all my customers), but they sure want their over priced bill paid every month! I've been with T-mobile for 11 years, service and customer service gets worse every year!
They go around in circles to keep you from getting a refund. 85$ for five days of service, switched carrier, now no refund, what a sorry outfit.
Answer: Take the cheapest, clunkiest, most useless data coverage you can imagine. Now imagine it not even working. You pay for something that is USELESS.
Answer: This is typical of t-mobile. It will not let me leave a review.
Answer: T-Mobile will let you keep your old number... IF IT IS AVAILABLE. I do not know the requirements or rules, but years ago, I was allowed to keep a number I had had for years past.
Answer: See, your other customers see the same thing. In plain words, you suck ass.
Answer: Better Business Bureau is the only way to force an american to talk to you
