Ordered a suit online. Huge mistake. 1. Took forever to arrive. 2. Impossible to buy a swimsuit this way without trying on. 3. Returned. 4. Customer service is infutriating, took forever and four attempts to get a PARTIAL refund. The company deducts a non refundable fee of 5.99 for returns and another 6.99 for postage back. Don't do business with this company unless you don't mind being ripped off.
Purchased an O'neill rash guard. Rash guard broke down after first use. After reaching out to the company I was told that they would not replace the item. I was not requesting it to be replaced, but an offer to make it right, whether that be a discount on a future order, or something else would have been appreciated. Would never purchase from the company again.
Their prices are outrageous. Their specials are a joke: free shipping after $50 (gee, thanks). Getting a promo code is like pulling teeth. The criteria for "Price Match Guaranty" is so strict that I doubt anyone ever receives it.
The worst issues about Swimoutlet is how they get extra money during the checkout process. When you hit the final button to process your order, it will not indicate if there's any sales tax; when you are emailed your bill, this is the first time you see the sales tax posted and you realize, depending on your state tax, that you paid Waayyyy more for the item than you should have. If you have to buy a swim related item, shop elsewhere and use Swimoutlet as a last resort. Every google search you do on swim items has Swimoutlet listed first. This should tell you how much they have to spend in advertising to overcome their reputation. I would never shop Swimoutlet again.
I ordered a swimsuit while I was visiting a friend in Arizona. While checking out I received a promotion; send referral receive 20%off for friend $20 for you. I sent the offer to my friend I was staying with and she ordered the same suit. I did not receive the promo, 1st excuse why; was because friend didn't spend over $39. She was charged same as me $78 and after I pointing that out they said ordered from same IP address. I explained I was visiting. Beware don't plan on getting a promo. Hopefully I have no problem even getting the suit so I don't have to interact with their customer service.
Received the goggles just in time for departure for the shore. They are manufactured in diopters so ordering the right strength needs a quick calculation on their neat calculator. The results are put into the order form and you're good to go. What a great service. Reasonably priced, great fit and I can actually see where I am along the beach... plus keep an eye on my stuff.
Simple: SO sent an email that my order shipped. According to FedEx it did not. Why would a company misinform a customer? What is broken at SO? Logistics - ethics? That's it for me. From now on I order direct from Speedo.
Ordered a swimsuit from their website, and the size I ordered didn't fit. I went on the website to process a return and get a refund (originally intending to re-order from the website). I found out while processing my return that they actually deduct $5 from what gets refunded to you to pay for shipping back. This is pretty tasteless, considering most ecommerce websites offer free returns. Would have ordered from elsewhere had I known this.
You know, SwimOutlet has a return policy that is not as easy as most companies I deal with online. I had to drive my return to a FedEx store instead of printing a USPS label and putting it with the mail in my office to avoid a return fee in excess of $5.00. I will be looking for a different place to purchase swim gear after I use my credit.
I ordered 2 ladies unitard suits & 1 pair of water shoes from SwimOutlet. One unitard was too large everywhere; the 2nd unitard was too small in the top half of the suit. The water shoes were at least 2 sizes too big although they were marked my size. Each return cost me $5.99 in return shipping charges.
I have ordered every swimsuit for at least 20 years from SwimOutlet. I found its prices to be reasonable and the swimsuits to be of good quality, made to last.
These last few products were poorly-sized and didn't correspond to US ladies clothing & shoe sizes.
I am disappointed with these weird, substandard products, and the return shipping charges that the customer pays to return swimsuits that don't conform to US sizes.
I found this off-sizing in another Chinese brand, Attraco, where the top & bottom & sleeve sizes do not correspond to US sizing standards. Not only did Attraco charge me to return its poorly-sized products, it required that I open a PayPal account so it could reluctantly refund about 80% of the cost of the order.
I am a ladies size 12 which is a common US size.
All this to say "Buyer beware."
I ordered a Maxine of Hollywood swim dress, size 12. I have worn this brand and size before. The item seemed to be a second, did not fit well. The skirt was too long, the leg openings were too large, and the band around the top of the swimsuit was too tight. And overall, the suit was too long in the trunk! I was very disappointed with the quality of the product. I would not take a chance and purchase from swimoutlet again because it is costing me $5.00 to pay for the return.
Returned an item that didnt fit as listed. Was refunded minus the original shipping AND the shipping to send the misleading item back. I lost $10 in total shipping fees. Not happy at all. And will never purchase through swimoutlet.com again. Extremely dissatisfied. Happy holidays.
I have been a customer and affiliate with SwimOutlet for years. Slowly the products and services have declined. About two years ago they started taking products off my team affiliate page without letting me know. Since then the product selection has been drastically reduced. Now the order I placed in December (three months ago, and placed two more times since then) has been lost. They blamed me saying I must have a neighbor who is taking it from the front door. FedEx even told me on the second order that they lost it and I should receive it in a few days. After I followed up with them when I didn't receive it, they then said the order was lost. After a third notice that my third order was delivered (and wasn't) they told me my address in their system was incorrect (even though I have automatic ordering set up). I run a large swim school and depend on quality products and services. I'll miss supporting a swim specific company, but I just can't trust them. Sad...
Horrible company. Items took so long to arrive that my son's swim season was almost over. I contacted them after a month and the items will weren't being processed! They offered me a measly 10% discount due to the ridiculous time frame. What a waste of time. I told them to cancel the order and they tried to tell me, "it might be too late." What a crooked company.
So after I ordered a suit that was supposed to be 1-2 days shipping it didn't arrive. Called customer service and got disconnected the first time. Second time was told my package would arrive on time. The package didn't arrive so I called a third time. Customer service worker helped me get a refund but did not care to listen to what I was saying or connect me with a manager.
First off I NEVER write bad reviews as i don't like to speak bad about others.
This company has been awful to deal with. I am now in my 12 week waiting for a parka i ordered back in November. No one seems to know where the shipment is and when it will be sent out. I have asked neuromeres times and keep getting pushed off onto another person who has Zero answers. I do not suggest using this company for any products. As of January 26th 2021 I do not have my order nor do i have a date it will be shipped out.
This site has amazing deals. If you purchase up to $50, the shipping is free. This is great if you have a lot of things you need to purchase for the summer. They have an extreme variety of brands and different styles of swimsuits. Going to a local store, there is just not a great amount of variety.
I also purchased some items that I needed for the beach. I got a couple of beach chairs, towels, and a body board all from the same site. The items arrived in great condition. I would definitely purchase from this site again.
I recently purchased my 2nd swim parka from SwimOutlet.com. I tried it on while the tags were still on and it fit fine for me. After swimming, however, I discovered that when wet, I could not get my arms to slide into the arms of the jacket due to the ticking material, whose nature was such that it almost became sticky when met with wet skin. I chatted with so-called "customer service" on their site and they basically said that since it was "used" they wouldn't let me return it. I explained I was unhappy because I couldn't have known about the problem until I used it. I used the analogy that it's like saying I should have known the milk was spoiled before I bought it. The customer service agent then gave me the most passive-aggressive response I've ever encountered in a chat... she simply said "understood." And then silence. You can take what you will from my story. I'm personally not shopping there anymore.
I am shopping for a young teen and two differently shaped 10 year olds. It is a fantastic variety of gear. I find the different sizing for the different models of clothes very difficult to navigate. The prices and variety is outstanding.
I contacted SwimOutlet customer service about a suit that was almost-not-quite the same as my traditional Speedo Moderate Ultraback - purchased on Black Friday. That suit took over a week to deliver ("free shipping") and then ultimately didn't fit up top. Very frustrating.
After I called customer service and they arranged a return for refund - I went to the site and purchased a Speedo Moderate Ultraback - and paid $5.99 shipping. That suit arrived in Under Two Days!
Great Overall Experience with Swim Outlet.
The shorts I ordered were WAY too small, so I had to return. FYI: I based my choice on their sizing table.
What I realized is they 'discount' the order price AND, in addition to that, the customer has to pay for the return shipping fees. I paid $55.99 for the shorts. They charged me $11.99 for the return and $4.99 to ship it back to them. I will get a refund of $43.01.
Unacceptable--period.
Answer: Now many outlets very expensive because live expensive and all price go up
Answer: It sucks. They don't give you a full refund. They deducted $12.00 from my $60.00 shorts. And then they had the odacity to charge me for the return shipping fees! Never again.
