The website is not very forthcoming on the fee that they charge for making the reservation. When you click on their site for the taxes/fees explanation it does not mention the Snaptravel fee! The $67 in taxes & fees the site was going to charge for the $234/nite room was was substantially more than booking direct with the hotel for the same room at $269/nite.
I PAID OVER $100 MORE THAN THE HOTEL PRICE. ALSO, THE HOTEL STILL CHARGING ME FOR STAYING WITH THEM. OVERPAID AND DOUBLE CHARGE. WHEN MY WIFE READ THEIR STATEMENTS THAT THEY ARE CHEAPER THAN DIRECTLY BOOKING WITH HOTEL. BUT THAT'S NOT TRUE. TAKING 3 MONTHS TO FIGHT WITH CREDIT CARD COMPANY. HEADACHE AND OVER PAID.

The very first time using snap travel I drove approximately 5 hours to a hotel room that was not available after I was guaranteed 100% that my room was paid for they use my credit card they build it and then sold it out from under me got there with no hotel room no place to stay slept in my car at congenital heart failure my legs swelled up I called them up and they're not willing to do anything for me they're not willing to apologize change their policy or do anything to stop it from happening in the future they don't care about customers

My husband made a reservation on June 24 for a hotel (date of stay Aug 7 and Aug 8,2022). Reportedly, the Snaptravel Expense Report says this hotel stay is fully refundable through July 28,2022. Today, we tried to cancel this reservation but cannot get a response through Customer Service (no one answers the phone). We tried to cancel through the Messaging ap but were told that we did not have a reservation even though our credit card has been charged. The e-mail we received does not have the "Cancel Reservation" link. This company appears to be a scam.

I made a reservation through here for Oceana Boutique in San Clemente California. I arrived at 9:30 pm and they said the office was closed and refused to give me my reserved room and refused to refund me. They said I was late and there was nothing they can do. They did not even try to help me find another hotel to stay or offer any other kind of assistance. No where in my reservation or any of the emails I received was specified that I had to be there before 9. So they kept my money for both days which was my original reservation. I will do my hotel reservations through Hotels.com as always. This website is a scam..

They have the worst customer support. If you have a problem, on SITE (hotel) you can get a lot of problems
Becasue customer support are slow and they never answer the phone or dont understand you. They even JOKE WITH YOU and they say is nothing they can do. FEW monhts ago I HAVE A PROBLEMS in hone HOTEL and they just put me to wait hours and hours. After 5 hours i was able to check in in the hotel and they giveme a 80$ usd credit to use in their site but guess what? I am not able to use those CREDITS months after that i stil cannot use a single penny for that credit and when i call to customer support they say is nothing they can do bcz those credit are only accepted in certain hotels WORLDWIDE but they dont know wich hotels are that... that i need to test it all? Wtf NEVER NEVER TRUSTHEM

I have read negative ratings of snap travel here and have no idea how these folks could have gotten so goofed up booking a room. My experience is the opposite. I signed up with snap travel and then sent a text message seeking rooms and they responded with links to hotels. I checked the links out. The other reviewers talking of all kinds of drama was not my experience with snap travel. I think text messages are ushering in a new way to book hotels. I booked two hotels with snap in a few weeks with no problem.
ST refused to speak to the hotel&change incorrect dates. We had to pay twice for a stay. DO NOT use!

I have 6 emails stating they have issued a refund and they have not. It has been over a month. Then I get an email with a bogus phone number telling me my ticket is now closed. I booked through them without knowing I was doing so. I thought I was on a Hampton Inn site. We got Covid and supplied the hotel with positive test. They credited the amount back to Snap travel and authorized the refund. Snap Travel never credited it back to me they just kept sending me emails that they had and I should see it in 3 days. SCAM ALERT!

They put a cheap price but once you arrive in the hotel they don't care it the hotel charge more
I book a hotel with them and paid the price they advertise $46 once I arrive I was charge $79 more. I told them about it and they did not care

Not sure HOW these reviews are so positive. I made a reservation at a hotel for 2 nights and when I showed up to check in yesterday there was a sign on the door stating they do not take reservations from Snaptravel as they are a scam and have had major issues with them. The receptionist at the hotel proceeded to tell me she did not even have rooms as the one I had booked/reserved on their site. I have called Snaptravel 3 times and each time was told I would receive a call back from their Urgent Department in 10-15 minutes. I have not received one call back and the last person told me the reservation was confirmed on their end and it was just to bad for me and I would not be getting a refund. I never leave reviews but I am incensed at their poor customer service and will be turning the company in for fraud. Just pass, its not worth the savings (which you won't get anyway), there are much better companies/web sites. I have never had an issue like this and travel all the time!

Tried to book a 3 night stay at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in Nassau. Put my credit card number in to book and their website said "processing " for 10 minutes. Finally had to turn the computer off to stop the spinning ball. I assumed the reservation never went through. Never received any confirmation from Snap so I called hotel and made reservations over the phone. Guess what Snap billed my credit card for over $1600 after I already paid hotel for the phone reservation and now I'm stuck paying twice for same reservation. I have been fighting this double charge for over two months now and getting nowhere. This company is a TOTAL SCAM! Beware- their website failed on my booking attempt and now they are extorting a $1600 non refundable non cancel able fee. Total scammers - they should be ashamed. Booked a room in SF for three nights at incredible rate…have to admit I was skeptical because there was limited information on the hotel on the site, but I used other booking sites to confirm that the hotel was real and open…Decided to give it a try, and immediately received a conformation from snap travel which seemed legit. But then a few minutes after I received one from Booking.com??? In that email it said I had made a reservation at a hostel across the street from the hotel I booked. I called the hostel and they confirmed that my reservation had been sent there. The man also informed me that snap travel is frequently doing this! If they don't have any available rooms at the hotel you booked, they send you to the nearest hotel with vacancy! Haven't received a refund yet either :/ Absolutely a scam, don't know how they have an "A rating" from the BBB!

They talk down to you and even when their website is wrong and they book your room different than what you picked online, they refuse to help you fix it. They threaten you with nonrefundable and if the hotel wants them to call and cancel they will not. They ask for a written letter from the hotel. Really the worst travel site around. You think you are saving money and you truly are not, you are not getting what you think you paid for and then they have the nerve to ask for a huge tip because they tried to help save you money.

We display the room rate and then the additional hotel fees are in the "About" section of the hotel card, both pre-booking and in the customer's voucher post-booking. This is separate because they are not charged by us but rather mandatory payments to be made directly to the property and at their sole discretion.
