SnapTravel won't refund travel nights!
September 5, 2022

We had a family check in to the room above our hotel room at Hilton Garden in Bothell, Washington, and kid was jumping up and down non-stop. So, we decided to check out ONE night earlier than our paid reservation! Hotel referred us back to SnapTravel and the Chat Agent told me that they will NOT refund us for the early check-out! That's THUG, ABSURD and MORNIC!

Don't use SnapTravel.

I made a quick reservation but needed to change it. Too bad. Already sent and booked and charged. No way to get resolved. Ha! Gotcha! I'll know next time not to even go to this site. I'll use something else. Man o man its hard to sit down after dealing with that program!

Horrible policy's
September 5, 2022

You can't modify your booking you have to cancel your reservation and re book but they also had a no refund policy on my reservation so I couldn't get a refund. All I wanted to do is change the date of my stay but they say you have to cancel and rebook can't even modify and pay the difference in price so pretty much stole my money even though it was over a month from my reservation.

This being said, a refund can be issued or request a modification from the travel supplier if you are able to provide us written confirmation from the hotel management that a refund has been agreed upon.

Booked my flight, they deducted $1400 and then they cancelled my reservation WITHOUT THE REFUND. 5 days later I needed to call to beg to process the refund. Will see if they did it. Very bad experience. #ST*******

I booked my hotel reservations for labor day weekend through snaptravel. I drove 6 hours with my daughter to arrive at the hotel and they did not have our reservation. I provided the confirmation number I received and it did not work. The hotel was fully booked and they were not able to provide me with a hotel room during a holiday weekend. I had to call around to all the hotels in the area for availability. I found one hotel with 1 room left not thanks to snaptravel. This was an absolutely awful experience and I ended up paying A LOT more for the hotel room last minute on a holiday weekend. I will NOT be using snaptravel in the future. The front desk said this was the 4th person this week to experience what I had from snaptravel.

Only way snaptravel would work is if you don't run into any problems at the hotel I just hate how now in days we get no warnings if the hotel require a deposit especially after renting from them for years. But snaptravel wouldn't even change the dates on my reservations, I accidentally booked the wrong night and they wouldn't refund me the money the first night but I said forget it went home and tried to come back the next day to check in why tf the hotel talm bout it's a $80 deposit fee that I couldn't pay for smh ‍ but whatever that's besides the point so I let snaptravel know I couldn't check in or pay they gave me such a run around and they have the power to refund reschedule all that but they choose to be $#*! heads and try all and every way to keep your money and they text me false advertisement all the time I wonder if I could sue them.

Furthermore, the requirement to put down a security deposit is standard for hotels. It is not a charge but rather just a temporary hold on your credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. The hold is released if no incidental purchases (room service, mini bar, Wi-Fi, etc.) or damages occurred. The payments are never charged by Snaptravel but rather mandatory payments to be made directly to the property and at their sole discretion.

Thought I was booking online direct at hotel. Has exact pics. Immediately charged me and I thought it seemed way overpriced. Went to check out and asked for itemized statement. The statement was $75 less than was snap travel charged me. Asked hotel why and they said it was booked thru Expedia. I never use Expedia. My confirmation number from snap travel wasn't even a light one the hotel could pull up. I can't contact snap travel to inquire

I notice every time I click on a hotel price it almost changes instantly to a much larger cost.So they lure you with fake prices and don't think that should be a legal tactic on their part. Fake price advertising and should be looked into! Look at the pictures for proof!

They are an absolute joke. They disguise themselves as a first party booking site, then redirect you. Hide the fact they are non-refundable. As soon as I realized I attempted to cancel 6 weeks in advance. It took me hours, multiple calls and emails. Half of the contact mechanisms they provide either don't work or are outdated. After finally getting a call center I was met with abject incompetence and disingenuous placating. I was disconnected the first time the second time the agent refused to escalate my complaint to a supervisor citing "policy". This is fraudulent and worst, or unethical and predatory business practice at best.

Snap travel is SCAM.

SnapTravel is a total SCAM!
Don't ever try it!

We had the worst ever experience today, first time booking a flight from IST (Turkey) to EWR( NJ) with SnapTravel! What a scam! An absolute fraud!. They gave us a big headache and force us to pay $250 more for our flight by wasting our time.

Venice Beach Vacation Condos and Snaptravel run the criminal enterprise. Total SCAM! They advertise places when someone is renting a room as a hotel. I booked two rooms and arrived at Venice Beach Vacation Condos around 8 pm to check in. No hotel, no lodging signs, nothing. Snaptravel in the confirmation email wrote "In order to check-in to the hotel, you will be required to present a valid photo ID that matches the guest name on this reservation. " The address property was a personal condo, everything was closed down. When I called the Snaptravel support center, a person with a heavy accent pick it up. Screaming kids and animals in the background. Clearly, Snaptravel agents are using some internet phone system, because the delay was astounding. The agent barely was speaking English, and they were only repeating like a robot "no refund, that is a non-refundable reservation." Are you kidding me? Seriously? But wait, they inform me that there is an additional $99 housekeeping fee that I will have to pay. Wow, so first they scamming people by advertising Airbnb room rentals as a hotel establishment, and on top of that, they will charge you a housekeeping fee for non-use. This is criminal. Stay away from Snaptravel travel agency and Venice Beach Vacation Condos.

This was the wost experience I have ever had with a travel agency. I book a week vacation at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf and Spa Resort through Snaptravel. After filling out the paperwork I realized I hit the wrong key stroke which indicated I didn't want a non refundable ofer. I immediately sent a text to the Snaptravel website telling them that I had made a mistake and wanted to correct it. They proceeded to tell me that I booked a non refundable offer and they couldn't adjust this. Keep in mind this was within 5 minutes of it actually happening. Whose room was I taking? If this was done after 5 months would there be a different policy? Isn't there a difference? I didn't even have 5 minutes to correct a mistake. What kind of customer service is this? What kind of customer service is this? Stay away and don't trust them to support you.

I booked a room and the hotel doesn't even have me on the registration. I paid for a flight and now I don't have a room. Which I paid in full with snap travel they say wait but who wants to wait last min for vacation plans.

When you pull up Snaptravel in Chrome, there is no space for google reviews. This should have been the red flag! The hotel price I agreed to was $319. After submitting payment, I still got no TOTAL receipt. It was after I got back from my trip, when I found a link in an email to a receipt. Snaptravel charges double taxes from the ordinary rate and then they add on tips. So my Total was now $386.40. I could have booked directly with Hyatt and gotten points and such for that cost. Rip Off. I contacted them and they said they'd give me the tip back ($7) but that was it. Have contacted my card company.

I booked with SnapTravel on Aug. 21 at Holiday Inn Express Lexington and was told by a notification that I would receive a $30 credit toward my next room if I booked again through SnapTravel within two weeks. I booked again at Tru by Hilton Savahhan Midtown on Aug. 26. At first my credit showed up but when I went to book the room it disappeared. I contacted Snap Travel through their online chat. The representative put me through the hoops with getting all the details of my stay when I had already given her the confirmation numbers. At first, she sounded sincere like she wanted to help. Then she said she couldn't issue a refund as the system generates the credits and there is nothing she could do. I did however now have a $90 credit so why don't I use that? She advised. Bait then hook. I told her I wasn't that stupid.

Flight was delayed to next day causing us to try to modify our reservation. We didn't want a refund, instead to change the day to when our flight was rebooked one day later. You cannot reach anyone on the phone. We were only able to text & half the time it was to a bot. Also, because we booked thru snaptravel, the hotel could not change the date of our reservation. Snaptravel was absolutely no help & extremely insincere, stating it was in our booking that we could not modify our reservation. $$ down the drain. First & LAST time we used snaptravel. Lesson learned. I've attached pictures of their responses. Hopefully it will help you to think twice before booking with them.
