I booked wrong hotel
October 6, 2022

Worse customer service seen, by mistake i booked wrong hotel and i want only talk to them to change the hotel. Julin was so rude and not professional at all. Never seen this kind of customer service, im not cancelling my hotel just changing it. I never ever get anything from this company. I recommend you guys pay more and get from better company not cheap like snaptravel. Poor poor customer service and staff.

Worst Hotel Agency I've ever used. Basically I've spent the last 3 weeks confirming a hotel booking. Snaptravel says to wait til the last day but the hotel claims they are booked up, and by now if my name isn't there, it prob won't be Saturday when we show up. I've talked to at least 10 agents and a "supervisor". They ALL give generic scripted answers and do not try to fix the problem outside the same answers. This is a non refundable room too. I'll spend a year trying to get my money back from this crap company. Snaptravel needs a huge lawsuit against them. How this is legal, I don't know.

Scam
September 30, 2022

I booked a flight from Los Angeles to Madrid and when I got the confirmation it was the completely wrong flight. They booked multiple flights instead. They booked Los Angeles to London, London to Madrid, Dublin to Chicago, then Chicago to Canada. When I tried to call them about the mistake they never picked up, I also called the airline and they had no record of of any of those tickets. I called my Credit Card company and reported it as fraud. After my Credit Card company tried to get a hold of them I got an email from Snaptravel threatening to sue me. I then sent the email to my Credit Card company. STAY AWAY!

The site glitches when booking. They stole from me.

The website glitched and forced me to reserve a day after I would be there. They refused to fix this or offer any refund or help. They block you from getting help from the hotel staff that is standing right in front of you by instead making you fight with an French AI for and hour until you give up. Absolutely terrible. They are thief.

I proceeded to try and cancel this reservation on 9/3,9/4,9/5. With no luck on their online system. I proceeded to call the hotel directly and cancel the reservation and received a refund and I was informed by the hotel that there was no reservation under my name or my wife's name. When speaking with the hotel rep, they advised me to dispute the charges with the original payment method. I cancelled this reservation because we were away at a friend's house on 9/2/2022 when we received news of the fire near our town that began in August 2022 had breached several fire lines and our town was in the direct line of the fire. We could not have gone on this trip due to securing our home after the notification was sent. We soon went to a level 1, then 2, then 3 evacuation. We have just now been allowed to return to our home 9/15/22

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. HORRIBLE COMPANY

This company is horrible. I had to cancel my hotel reservations due to a tropical storm heading to Orlando, Florida. I was going to Orlando for a conference which was canceled due to the expected weather. I reached out via text which is the only way to reach them went back and forth with them and got no resolution and definitely NO refund. This is the only online travel site that doesn't refund, I had co workers that booked through Other site and they got full refunds. I will never book through Snaptravel again! Horrible customer service and they are very inconsiderate to their customers!

Flight price fraud, unfair business practice

Booked flight with them, referred by Kayak, as they had the best price.
Charged my card 3! Times and didn't issue any tickets
Then I got email that the price went up 600$.
By doing this they create fartificial turnover volume trying to trick company investors in sales volume.
At the end they offered 30$ less for business class transatlantic flight than the airline.
Not worth it.

Unhelpful customer service

This website give you a hard time to modify a reservation and will not help you in any kind of way.
I called the number on the website and is not longer available then I called another number to modify my reservation and they suggested to do it online. I search the modification option online and there's no option to modify anything. I finally got on the phone with a representative name Jen and she was sorry so many times and unable to help me with a modification or to contact the hotel to make any modification. These websites need to be out of the business. And I blame google for this, Google is always showing the top paying advertisers hotels and not the affordable hotels.

This website is a scam

I paid Snaptravel over $500 for a hotel room to attend a wedding that unfortunately was canceled due to the pandemic. When I contacted them with the situation, they provided me with a voucher to use when the wedding got rescheduled instead of a refund. When I went to use the voucher, the hotel said that it wasn't valid and I needed to work with Snaptravel. When I contacted the company, I spent over 4 hours being transferred to multiple customer service reps all giving me the same answer that there is nothing that they could do to help me. Now, when I am actually attending the wedding at the same venue, I am out of pocket again for the hotel fee, out $500+ of my hard earned money as well as 4 hours of my life I will never get back. Do yourself a favor and trust any other travel site and avoid this one.

My daughter booked a room through your agency on 7/17/22 at Wyndham Las Vegas. She flew from Texas and arrived in Las Vegas 9/16/22 and when she went to check in her room, the hotel was gated and had a permanently closed sign. She was alone, upset and did not know what to do, she knew no one there and had no place to stay. I am furious that my daughter was subjected to that type of danger, that no one from your company informed her in advance that the hotel had closed, where did her money go didn't it raise a flag when her payments was sent back to your account receivable, who dropped the ball at my daughters expense. She called immediately and to think your employee did nothing to help her, all she got was a sorry and a refund, no help to secure another room with a sister hotel or nothing, but I guess when your safe behind your phone who cares right, well this was my daughters safety at jeopardy, and this type of business and situation from a reputable enterprise is not acceptable. She had to pay triple to find a room that day of and then again the next night, something needs to be rectified. Your company needs to reimburse her for both hotel nights she alone had to secure and pay at a high price for herself at no fault of her own. Her vacation was ruined before it was able to even begin. I pray your company is truthful and stands behind what your site promotes and advertises as your moto for or all to see and trust. 100% GUARANTEE.

Bad Bad Bad

On 9/15 I used this company (Snaptravel) to book a room at Red Roof Inn East Rockford IL Casino District. On my way to IL I was involved in a accident, I couldn't have made it there if they wanted to give me the whole motel. I called to see if I could get any part of the $295 that I was charged. Back after talking to 2 different people was told that I could not get any monies back since it was a non refund resveration. I am a 70 yr old disabled vet $295.00 maybe a drop n the bucket for some folks but to me it's one hellva lot of money I have stayed at at several Red Roof Inns over the years, I will never stay there again or use Snaptravel. Some times things happen that you have no control over

Overcharged and refused to correct issue

They overcharged us and refused to correct the issue claiming they are a business and have right to charge fees. It was NOT on my receipt whatsoever but on our bank statement. So beware of their hidden fees that will not be on your receipt. Very angry

Pet booking
September 14, 2022

Booked a room which allowed pets on all the websites. Called to confirm and check pet charges 2 days after booking. Motel changed it's policy 9-1-22 after I booked through snaptravel, which has a non refundable policy. Motel said to contact snaptravel and they said" no refund for you" Motel said "too Bad". Never use a 3rd party to book a room. I said I will be there with my dog. Have a manager and a call to the police to work it out when the time comes to get it right if necessary. If my fault, I would eat it but it is not. Not even a 0 rating

So my wife and I booked some ticket to Europe cost around 1600. 00, within a few hours snaptravel email let us know they cancel our booking "Thank you very much for your booking. We regret to inform you that the airlines could not confirm your fare. The charge has already been refunded and will post back to your account soon." but the charge on our credit card still go thru after a week, it's not pending but already charged on the card. Tried to call them but there is no phone number on their website. This review is just to help other to avoid snaptravel because of this mess we have to go thru trying to dispute a charge.

I made a mistake while making a quick reservation for a room for one night. I booked the wrong date and had already gone through with the booking, basically right after booking I tried to get a response from them on either refunding me or at least putting the money towards a reservation for the correct night. They could not do either of those things, so because of my minor mistake I am $50 short in we'll earned money. Thanks snap travel for making sure you benefited off of peoples mistakes and quirks, clearly you need to money more than I do. Such a disgusting website.

Bait and Switch

I was looking for a hotel for my daughter birthday... prices have been high all week. Snaptravel advertises that they can get me the hotel for 119... that was a lie... then 120... that was a lie... I finally accepted 2 bed room for 127... and then the confirmation was for another Hampton Inn in a very different location... of course when I call them to explain my issue... its not refundable... I said if I wanted a blind bid I could have used priceline... but I can't not go because I loss out... False Advertising... still waiting on a supervisor to call me back... although I was promised a call right back... no email confirmation to even say we had a conversation... untrustworthy site... false Advertising... what sounds to good to be true... usually is... and then they had the audacity to ask for a tip... would never recommend... unless you are prepared for the outcome... boooooooo

Travel date changed by Snaptravel RIPPED OFF

Please read the reviews before using this rip off company. Yes, the reviews you read on another URL are their OWN REVIEW, We needed a room for the night, entered the date and added the CC info. When we arrived at the hotel, "your reservation is for next week". How could this be? Reviewed my phone log and sure enough the hotel was sold out for the night I entered, Snaptravel thought it would be nice to change the date to a day the hotel was not full. No indication this had happened. Totally ripped off.
