Don't Use

Their website posts great deals but can not complete any transaction. I received an error message when I attempted to book, so I fixed it and tried again. Their site double charged my credit card without booking my stay.

Do not use this travel site

I tried to book a hotel room for 2 nights by! Googling the hotel I wanted. It popped up with a deal from this site. It turned out to be in a completely different city and the wrong dates.
I tried to correct it and cancel it, no dice. Stuck now with a case opened with PayPal. No response from them yet.
No where on confirmation does it say not refundable. Nothing while booking either.
Yet here I am still no response and out money on a room I didn't use.

This was my first time using Snaptravel, but it will not be my last. Snaptravel was the most inexpensive, beating all of my 'usual' booking sites. Also, they made their booking process short and I didn't have to download an app in order to book a descent hotel. They represented my chosen hotel perfectly and our stay was as close to perfect as possible.

SCAM ALERT, STAY AWAY
I booked a hotel room with SuperTravel on December 12,2022. I checked their website thoroughly and found the price attractive, so I booked with them.

I knew that some platforms include the city taxes in their reservation fee but I needed to make sure so I asked the support staff about it and they reassured me that there were no other "surprise fees" at my check-in time. (I can provide screenshots that I asked about the city tax and the agent confirmed that what I asked for is the "city taxes" and that there are no other taxes and fees)

When I arrived at my destination hotel, I was asked for an extra 48€ as "City tax" and when I asked the SuperTravel support about it, they just changed their mind and replied that the city taxes are not included in their price.

I sent screenshots to their support agent (Of the time the other support agent told me: "Please note that the fees on your reservation include the room rate and taxes and fees" after confirming that my question was about city tax)

And they simply said: "Sorry for the wait. As a previous representative tell you, "Please note that the fees on your reservation include the room rate and taxes and fees". This is what I'm telling you about the SuperTravel taxes and fees. City tax is a different thing."

So I conclude that the prices on their websites, at least in my case, are not real and you might incur additional fees.

I strongly advise you against booking with this website, they are trying to mislead you with incorrect prices and information. Always double-check the costs and fees with the hotel before you travel.

Scam from the word go
January 12, 2023

They hijack you when you try to contact the hotel for a reservation. You are directed to their site where you make the reservation. They claim due to hotel policy. You cannot get a refund. The hotel tells me different with the unbelievably bad storms in the west I was forced to cancel my trip. Four days before my reservation. Super travel will not refund. Their customer service number on my reservation does not answer.

Purchased a flight to Norway from SnapTravel... now apparently called SuperTravel. About a month and a half later was told one of the legs of the flight was cancelled and they sent me an alternative flight. The new flight had me leaving Oslo prior to me landing in Oslo (flight in landed at 9:20 am, flight out left at 8:30 am). When I pointed this out, they said the would find me another flight.

After a few weeks of them "waiting to hear from the supplier"... whatever that means. They sent me alternative flights that left on different days from my orginal date and did not work for me. After dealing with this for over a month, I requested a refund because at that point I needed to get another flight so my vacation (and B day) wasn't ruined.

Basically, they told me that they DON'T GIVE REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON! What?! So you're telling me... I purchased a flight that your company cannot honor and you won't give me my money back? What kind of nonsense is that? They offered a travel credit good for a year. I don't travel often and this was a treat to myself following a pretty bad year. A travel credit is not helpful to me. Not to mention, I never want to deal with this company again. The way I see it, they basically stole 3k of my money.

Borderline fraud

Do not use this service. Customer service will tell you there nothing they can do, if an issue arises... such as being charged $700 for a hotel you didn't stay at.

SCAMMED BEWARE!

Scammed out of $224.03, Oct 21,2022. Paid Snaptravel (now called Supertravel) via PayPal for a stay in Columbia,SC. Arrived at the hotel, but they never received money from Snaptravel and made me pay for hotel upon arrival. Been fighting for my refund ever since. The company's agents claim they cannot help me that "you've initiated the chargeback process, which means that you've disputed this claim with your bank or payment provider. We cannot access your account and any resolution must continue through your financial institution. As your bank has already withdrawn the funds from our account, we are not able to take any further action. Please get in touch with them for any updates on the status of your dispute."- agent's response. A copy paste blanket statement from Snaptravel basically saying haha we have your money and nothing you can do about it…

I keep getting the same response. When I ask for corporate address to write them formally the agent claims that is not within their ability to help. There is nothing they can do.

PayPal was my "bank". They have and will never initiate a reimbursement because Snaptravel never responds to PayPal. I've raised a case with PayPal at least 3 times and been denied each time. My bank statement reflects both charges BUT my initial payment was with PayPal to Snaptravel. My bank did no investigation since they saw different charges.

No one is helping me get proper justice!

So who has my refund and why can I not get my refund for not getting my services rendered? This is a SCAM and it seems as if I will never get proper service. Will keep publishing my complaint on every social media site allowable. This is wrong in every way! I HATE I fell for this and pray Snaptravel Supertravel whoever they change names into to avoid services…don't rob more hard working Americans for their gain!

Same experience as people mentioned here: the advertised price was a lie. Booked a hotel through them for 88 dollars for two nights. The charge of $176 was confirmed, while going through the web-site. The actual charge was $210. They are trying to gaslight me and say some nonsense about the price fluctuation.

I never had problems and use them often. If I'm unsure if I will be able to travel I use the cancable room rate and pay a bit more.

When using the code SIMONR99 on the first booking you even get 10% discount on the room rate.

SuperTravel's emergency policy is a lie. Went to cancel our hotel booking for 2 nights in Ohio due to inclement weather emergency cancelling flights. The hotel was called directly and they helped us to cancel out booking, but they told us we had to cancel by our 3rd party website to get a refund. We booked through Super and followed their emergency cancellation guidelines to ask for a refund or change of date (since we were planning on moving back our travel date), but the help line insisted they could do nothing despite us following their emergency guidelines and expecting the $30 charge to process our refund. If we were not persistent in our right for a refund during an emergency situation, they would have kept the full charge despite no one being able to enter the state due to emergency weather situations and following their own policy. My recommendation is do not book through Super and just call your hotel directly.

This is for a hotel booking I made on September 9,2022, 920 PM for a September 10-13 stay. Apparently, Snaptravel never finalized a reservation with the hotel and never provided them with my details. Booking Confirmation Number: B_******* and the hotel confirmation number **************. I googled a hotel in Ft Lauderdale, Fl., and when the choices generated Snaptravel had the best price for where we wanted to stay (Silver Seas Beach Resort). We took a late flight and arrived at the hotel at 9:54 PM. The office door was locked and the lights were off. There was a note on the door to call for emergencies: *******490. The female who answered asked for my name. She then said that there was no record of any reservation with my name. I gave her the reservation number but she said they did not have any reservation for us. I even tried the booking number but that didn't work either. Basically they did not have anything from Snaptravel (reservation or payment). Snapbtravel(Now Super Travel) emailed me some paperwork (which I can provide to you) but none of it had any way to get back in touch with them. I'm 75 years old and out $405.00 and want a refund.

I was the victim of fraud with this site. The customer service person did not care. They "do not issue refunds" and stole my money. Avoid this site at all costs. It is a cheap travel site with terrible customer service.

Hotel cancelled, money still gone.
November 1, 2022

My booking was cancelled by the hotel when I arrived to check in. I was told that, of course, I'd be refunded by the travel agency (snaptravel), since it wasn't my fault the booking was cancelled. Snaptravel refuses to refund me, citing their no-refunds policy. They keep my money, having done absolutely nothing for it. You'll get the same rates directly from the hotels. Snaptravel is a scam, steer clear of them!

First of all my confirmation #B-*******, Snaptravel charged me $173 ($70 TIP FEE what is this?)more than what I would have paid at the Tru Hilton. I checked in on 08/13/2022 they DID NOT have this confirmation number at the Hilton they had to create a new confirmation for me and take my credit card information all over again. YOU ADVERTISE 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE At Snaptravel - to help everyone sleep better, we make the promise that if in the rare case you are unable to check in to the hotel with your Snaptravel reservation, we will provide you with a 100% full refund. That's the Snaptravel guarantee! Well where is my refund, I guess I have to pursue this further with BBB or an attorney. I will not be taken advantage of by your company and oh by the way they are now SuperTravel... I wonder why?

After reading so much bad reviews with the company, I've start to be afraid that the hotel didn't receive my reservation.
Finally, after some effort of talking with professional agent, the my have resolved the problem of my reservation directly with the hotel. My reservation is only in 1 months but I wanted to be sure to have it.
And they made it. My hotel confirmed that they have it.
Special is thank to Maria to the department Amendment Team who has resolve the problem.
So just if you want to be sure that your reservation is made to the hotel, contact the hotel. If the answer of the hotel say no, just talk with one of the agent, and the problem will be solved.
