I made duplicate booking on Super.com for the same day by mistake. I did not complete transaction for my first attempted booking, thinking I made a mistake in my biling address. When I tried to return to the earlier web page to correct the billing address, the site jumped to new booking page where I completed my booking, and received one text confirmation. But when I clicked on the link to check my booking, I found duplicate booking with 2 identical charges.

Finding a customer service phone number on the site was impossible. I Looked throught the site and found a section "duplicate booking" stating "we understnad non-refundable bookings can be tricky. If that's the case, reach out to us, and we'll wok our magic to contact the hotel … see if they can authorize a refund. Please note that the hotel has the final say on granting the refund. "

However, no where in the site provide a phone number. Then I found the chat service and texted with Vince, who asked for my email and the booking number, then texted me that there is nothing he can do. Vince did not "work: his "magic". When I tried to initiate another chat service, the chat site blocked further chat.

I contacted Mariott to explain the situation, to see if Mariott can grant the refund. Per Mariott, since I booked with 3rd party who collected my payment, Mariott has no authority to grant the refund. I believe Mariott is right.

In my previous booking experience with Priceline, Expedia, Hotel.com etc, all the booking mistakes are handled directly by these 3rd party services wtihout difficulty. The way Super operates is fraudulent in my opinion.

This my first try with Super, and will be my last.

We thought it was too good to be true at first but when we got to the resort our friends paid $700 more than we did for a 4 night 5 day trip!

While Super.com did make the reservation with the hotel we needed to stay at, Super.com charged us for a suite for 2 adults and 2 children.

To make sure all is ok, we called the hotel prior to arrival and found that Super.com had sent them information for a basic room for 2 adults.

Upon contacting Super.com's help, "Kevin" said reservation is at the discretion and that he cannot do anything.

Best Price By Far!

I did a Google Search and got the best price by far! I would just beware for anybody using this that there are lots of extras they tack on like paying for a full refund, request for tip. It's alright the business is legit. I'll give it a try and if all goes well I'll start tipping.

I booked a hotel through them. The hotel had indoor pool so when we got their we were told the pool is not in working condition so we instead of staying for 2 nights we stayed one told the front desk to cancel our next day reservation. I was supposed to get refund for 1 night which was return from the Hotel itself but super.com is holding my refund and won't return my money. They are fraud so don't book anything through them

Book the room, asked if they could book it for a one week earlier, they said let me send you a link to the hotel. The hotel if the hotel says yes everything will be great, the hotel said Yes, but super denied the refund of the original reservation. They kept the money for a room I didn't stay in. Stay away, stay away, stay away. Use somebody that is reputable like booking.com, kayak...

We booked a room in a home in Galveston, Texas - Domum de Vence. When we arrived no one was there - we never got a code to the front door even though I sent multiple messages asking for it ahead of time. We sat on the porch until the new owner HAPPENED by and told us that it had been sold three days before and they weren't doing any more rentals! We were never notified by super.com or the rental home! We attempted to contact super.com and the rental contact but no one answered. No one helped us when we did chat online with Super.com. They had no way to help us they said. They couldn't even help us figure out how to get a refund. It took us a month to get a refund. The online chat was completely useless. The refund process is very well hidden online. We had to talk to someone to figure out how to do it (only with our credit card assistance) and there were many many hoops to jump through and requests for "more info" to get the refund. AND that same room is still showing available online! If I could rate super.com lower I would. Do NOT use this website!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I booked a 2-night stay for a work conference on 26-27 November. The hotel called me on 16 November and informed me that there was an issue with my booking and I did not have a room. I contacted Super.com 3 times before I received a reply from their Help Desk - THE DAY BEFORE I WAS DUE TO ARRIVE AT THE CONFERENCE! They said everything was fine with my booking, and my room was confirmed. I called the hotel again to double-check, and there was nothing under the confirmation number Super.com provided, nor was there a booking under my name. The hotel manager sent me her conversation with Expedia - a Super.com supplier, I believe - to ask them to stop overselling the rooms as they were at full capacity. I have sent another 3 emails to their "Help" Desk since, and still no refund or reply.

If you want security for your travel booking, don't use Super.com.

Great deal

I booked through kayak and sent me to super.com. I had a question and called the hotel, when they said that they would match website deal and 25% additional off i was excited. But the hotel claimed not to see your offer and wouldn't give the offer. I guess they saw your great deal and didn't want to lose ob it. Thank you for a great deal

Avoid at all costs!

This review is not only for the Hampton by Hilton Usaquen but also Super.com and Hotelbeds. I will be posting this review under their names also.
I'm a US citizen. I travel to Colombia frequently. I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Usaquen Bogota. When I checked my credit card there was a $50 charge I didn't recognize. I expected additional charges because we charged meals to the room. I contacted them to ask what it was and they said it was VAT. It's a tax on Colombian citizens. My wife is Colombian but is a US resident and I showed them her green card. After arguing with them about the charge for over an hour they informed me that Hotelbeds actually charged me the VAT tax. They even sent me an invoice from Hotelbeds. I've never heard of Hotelbeds and there's no way to contact them. I booked with Super.com who apparently uses Hotelbeds as an agent. Now the whole time I'm chatting with the hotel I was also chatting with Super.com who kept insisting I contact the hotel and refused to help me. They never even mentioned Hotelbeds. Finally I got a call from Super.com and the representative had also never heard of Hotelbeds and continued to refuse a refund or help. I'm currently waiting for a super.com supervisor to contact me. But no one will take responsibility or offer a refund for an erroneous charge. I want my $50 dollars back! This review is a warning to travelers. If you use Super.com, or stay at a Hampton by Hilton you can expect to be screwed by Hotelbeds. Check your credit card, not the hotel bill or Super.com invoice because they won't show the VAT fee. Again, I have no problem with the room charge or other charges but I was taken advantage of because I'm an American with a Colombian wife. My advice is to avoid Super.com and Hampton by Hilton. I still have no idea who Hotelbeds is because you must be a business with an account with them to contact them.

We'd like to provide some clarification: Following national tax legislation, Colombian citizens and foreign residents are subject to a 19% VAT. This mandatory tax came into effect on January 1,2023. Super.com complies with this regulation, and the VAT is imposed by the accommodation and the local government, not Super.com.

We source our hotel rooms from a variety of partners including wholesalers to get you the best rates, and we pride ourselves on our access to exclusive deals. This information is included on our website. Your reservation was made through a different platform, not directly on Super.com. It appears you booked through Priceline, and the issue with the VAT might be related to the booking process. Please address this matter with the platform you used for booking, as Super.com doesn't have control over their listing details. If you provided documentation proving you are not a Colombian citizen or resident, the hotel staff should not have collected VAT. The staff should have resolved it with the travel supplier.
