I had never known about this website till I was redirected to it while shopping around for international tickets. The prices are very competitive and it was a great experience booking tickets for the first time with them. Everything went smooth without any issues.
Good price and flights compared to other websites. Student universe just needs to have a better overview of the rules and cancelation fees. And should allow students to change dates
I was able to call customer service and they were very helpful and surprisingly available for a late night on Friday (US Eastern time)

SU had the lowest price for a route not available on other sites. Turned out to be a 'hacker' route that required paying for baggage and seats on both legs of the 'connecting' flight. SU collected a fee for the baggage at purchase which turned out to be 30% of the true baggage costs. SU refunded me the baggage costs that it collected and I was on my own to pay $500+ for bags. Not very good.

Website was easy enough. Had to call about a potential issue with charging a card that said it didn't work but when I called I received immediate and helpful service. Right now we're experiencing, after a week, of the transaction only being partially made on our bank account. They have not charged us the full amount yet. Which is confusing. Anyways, other than that quick and easy I would say.
