My card has been charged $100 twice tonight and I don't even play video games! Tried calling the phone number listed but it was FAKE but I did call the BANK to start the FRAUD PROCESS!
I've been charged $100 dollars twice on my debit card without my approval! I've never ordered any games, or anything else from steam! Charges will be disputed with my fraud department of PNC bank
Steam allowed someone to make a $100 charge to my debit card... thanks for f**king up my accounts! Now my car payment, insurance and credit card bill are gonna be rejected... appreciate that!

Why do you scam money from people's personal accounts? I have never had any transactions with your company yet you hack into my account and help yourselves. Karma will take care of you and it won't be pretty. You will make national headlines with the Feds rightfully taking everything you got. Even your published phone number is a joke.

I enjoy Steam because any time a game I want goes on sale they alert me! I also love playing my console games on my computer with my fiancee!
I only use steam at the moment. I am not a big gamer, just a free games... Call of duty. You know when you start and can't stop? :) They make this games to catch you. It's a good platform, not sure I know anything similar.
Prices could be a bit better for games but the features are great. You can allways download a buyed game again and again. You can see if your friend allow it how he plays via Steam stream.

If you game on a PC then you basically need Steam. Simple to set up, with the possibilityfor 2-step verification. They have fantastic regular sales, with a huge library of available games and software. The client is very unobtrusive, and you can change all of your alert settings to your preferences. The built-in mod community also makes adding to many games a really straightforward process. Moving games between drives can be a bit of a hassle, but the built-in community forums are actually really useful.
I found 6 steamgames.com charges to my card this morning totaling $600. Luckily my bank will take care of it. I called the number and there is no way to speak to a person. Same with their website. This company is clearly a front for fraud. They sell games as well but their primary objective seems to be to steal as much money as they can, make it look like an accident, and if no one catches it then off to the bank they go. Just do an internet search on the company name or their phone number *******985. People who are defending them need to think about who processes the card numbers? Where does the money go? This is not a gamer problem (thats what they hope you will think) it is a lack of morals problem with steamgames itself! Hundreds and hundreds of people have complained about this company and contacted their banks for relief but the government/FBI has not done anything about it for more than three years which tells you a lot about the state of our society! It is not enough to just call your bank. YOU NEED TO FILE A REPORT WITH YOUR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY AND/OR FBI OFFICE - DO IT TODAY! It is enough to make you throw something! The Banks are not going to do anything about it and these creeps know it, that's why they keep doing it and why the list of victims continues to grow and grow. Sites like this need to be actively engaged in stopping fraud not just taking comments from those who have been defrauded! What is the point in that? There isn't one!

Make sure you test the games as soon as you buy them though. Threw down twenty on a game that wouldn't run on my pc and waited to long to refund it. Other than that, it's ok. Not a great selection of games though. :(
Steam is the biggest and the greatest company for PC games, beside playing WoW I am a player of CS-GO, their platform is up all the time, download speed unlimited and you can trust them when you buying a game.
Been on it since 2013. Wish I found out about it sooner. Love the community and the games. Should be installed on all pcs for those who love/prefer pc gaming.

It's just really good. I still try to buy games from GOG (0 DRM), if a game's released across both distributors, but the usability and design of Steam is just really good.
They also do in house streaming, so I can play the latest blockbusters on my sh*tty 5 year old laptop while my wife watches "Strictly Come Bake Off With Me".
Did I mention the Sales? Honestly, with a bit of patience you can load up on a years worth of AAA gaming every Summer for the price of a single new PS4 release.
I don't play every day, but can't live without some games. So streamgames is the best place to buy what you need. I've bought 5 games and plan to buy some more
