I ordered electric fencing supplies from state line tack my order was supposed to ship in 2-4 days after 5 days I called to find out what was going on with my order an no one could tell me they was supposed to call me back the 6 day I called an still no one could tell me anything again I was supposed to get a call back (still haven't got a call back 2 weeks later) the order was supposed to be cancelled so I ordered.
I ordered from Qc supply (got the fencing supplies in 2 days) an then after over 2 weeks the order showed up from state line tack an the charged my credit car again would not recommend them to anyone
I placed an order and when it didn't come in after 2 weeks I called to cancelled the order. I was given a cancellation number. The order arrived 18 days later. I called for a prepaid label to return the package. The representative told me it could take up to 14 days to receive the label in my email. I waited 14 days and called and when I received the label it wasn't prepaid. I was going to be charged $17 to send the package back by UPS. I called again and was sent the same label. I called again today and asked to speak to a member of management and am now on hold, as of right now it has been 43 minutes. I will never buy from this company again. If I could give no stars I would.
I purchased a sheet on the 27th and shipped it 2nd day air with a 29th delivery. Not only did it not arrive as promised it was going to take 6 days to receive! When questioned about the overcharge CS indicated maybe they could take a little off the $26 shipping. I returned the sheet not interested in companies that aren't reliable. I may lose more on shipping returning it but they just lost a good customer.
I purchased a Bowser Oslo dog bed through Stateline Tack in December of 2020. When I received the bed, the box was open and the bed was not covered in plastic. There was an Amazon return label in the box. Since the dog bed had no obvious signs of damage, I pulled off the covers and washed them. I then noticed that there was yellowing of multiple cushions. I contacted customer service and told them about this problem. I was not interested in returning the bed (because I needed it right away) but asked for a discount so I could order replacement cushions from Bowser directly. I contacted Stateline in January and February. They told me that they had contacted Bowser and were waiting for information. At this point, I have given up on receiving any reimbursement. I have bought equine supplies from this company for over 10 years with no problems. I will no longer use this company and don't recommend them to anyone.
We ordered the high country half moon caddy on June 11th it had shipping times of 2 to 6 days. We called daily after the the limit had passed and kept getting the run around finally on June 26th they said well they ran out and we had to order more so it will be much longer. We finally canceled the order and went elsewhere and it was even cheaper and didn't charge us the extra $35 shipping fee! DO NOT buy from them if u need it in a timely manner!
I had my eye on an item at Stateline, but it was out of stock. I received an email saying that the item was back in stock, so I placed my order. When I checked the status- lo and behold, the item was backordered. At the same time, the item was listed as "in stock- ships 1-2 days" on the website, but at a higher price. They never reached out to me about this, so if I hadn't checked into it I would have just been waiting around for my item. I cancelled my entire order and I will never attempt to buy anything from them again. Additionally, their 'discounts' are a sham... by the time they tack on outrageous shipping costs and all of their fees. You're no better off. Steer clear of Stateline Tack.
I've ordered 3 times this summer. The first order took 2 weeks to ship (a in stock item), the second order a bit longer, now this 3rd order has been a month and still has not shipped. I've made 3 phone calls to Stateline. I get the same response, they have contacted the vendor (DiamondWool), and are awaiting a reply. Insane. I asked for expedited shipping when it finally does ship, that wasn't guaranteed either. Pure craziness.
Never had such an absolute Hard Time placing an Online Order with anybody as I had with Stateline Tack! They take your Payment and then Hold up shipping your Order by Falsely Claiming there was an ERROR with processing the Order, So then say that YOU have to Call Them or they will cancel the Order. They refused to ship my Order just because my Billing Address was different from my Shipping Address! Now how many people have actually done online Orders where you see during Checkout where you can check the box, My Shipping Address is different than my Billing Address? Thats right, just about every Online Company there is, and it is not a problem. But at Stateline Tack it is, They just Outright Lie and Falsely Claim there was an Error in Processing your Order. No, the Error was in Ever Placing an Online Order in the First Place, thereafter you just keep getting Smug and Pompous Arrogant Commentary from their Customer Service People who never take responsibility for their Actions nor acknowledging that They Lied about there being an ERROR
I would not recommend my worst enemy to order from statelinetack.com. The customer service rep are RUDE and do not know how to efficiently communication with customers. It has been over 1 month since I have ordered my package and I have not received anything nor has statelinetack.com tried to compensate me or resend my packages. PLEASE do NOT waste your time, money, or energy with this company! If I could rate the company ZERO stars trust me I WOULD!
Late on Thanksgiving day, I place and order for a horse blanket only to discover I order the wrong size. I called State Line EARLY Friday morning to cancel order only to be told "sorry order has been processed/shipped by the warehouse---when you received it, call for a return item # and return the item". When checking the tracking information, the item was NOT SIPPED UNTIL MONDAY! I NOT ONLY PAID FOR SHIPPING TO ME, BUT NOW FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING! Customer service people were rude when I called TWICE and the last person cut phone message short and didn't want to hear my complaint! I have bought a lot of items from this company for 30+ years but NEVER AGAIN---I will go elsewhere where FREE SHIPPING is offered even if I need to pay more for an item!
I ordered a hood for my horse. The material was heavier than I expected and I wanted to return the item. They said that since it was the correct item and not defective I would have to pay for the shipping costs to return. The UPS store wanted to charge me $38. NOT WORTH RETURNING. I will not order from this company again.

5 days after purchase and they realize they don't carry it anymore. Could of had it by now if I ordered somewhere else.
Horrible experience, I got a blanket that got holes no one even wants help at all.
I asked for a refund or exchanged but I was left with damaged blanket, now I must claim it in my bank
Ordered several items & all were listed as being in stock.
Was told that items would be shipped in 2-4 days.
Got an order update after a week saying items were not in stock.
Would have never ordered if items were not immediately available.
Two weeks later, they emailed me saying that they would ship in another week.
Emailed them to cancel order, got no reply.
Called & was on hold for over 20 minutes.
When a rep came on, she said they had no way to cancel an order other than emailing warehouse.
Then there was no guarantee that the order would be cancelled.
Never, ever heard of a business being unable to cancel an order.
Seems they get your money, then order from an outside supplier, keeping nothing in stock.
So you get your stuff after they order it then ship to you.
Maybe they don't get that customers expect to receive their orders promptly.
And if they don't stock an item, state that on the listing or take the listing down until it is in stock.
Companies like this are why Amazon is getting all the online business these days.
Avoid State Line Tack like the plague!

My issues have always been with returns. Their return service is so outdated. With horses... you end up returning/exchanging tack especially. You have to call them to get a return number... which takes up to 2-weeks alone to receive! They don't mention that on their website. Then you have to wait another few weeks to get your money back. It's so inefficient and really puts me off of purchasing with them unless I'm in dire need. They need to get with the times and I think they'd have much more success/higher ratings.
My most recent experience was cancelling an order, and having it confirmed by them as cancelled... only to be charged for it 2-weeks later, on a Friday night at 10pm. Which really put a bad taste in my mouth, because when as a company are you ever shipping something that's perpetually in stock that far out from the original purchase date?! Let alone an item that was cancelled? Frankly, it does read as suspect to me. They're just such a headache to deal with, unfortunately.
We've used State Line Tack for years and always had a good experience. Historically, good service, great product and decent prices. Sadly, we can no longer say this to be true.
We have a horse who has laminitis and the grazing muzzle we got from Tack Line did not last. We ordered a new one knowing the old one was breaking. This horse's survival depends on a good grazing muzzle. She can't go without one!
The package was lost between UPS and the post office... and after many calks we were promised a new one would be rushed to us. Three weeks later and many phone calls, emails and broken promises and we are still waiting, the grazing muzzle now on back order.
The young man who recently took our last call was clearly working from home and was sullen and rude to my daughter who doesn't have a mean bone in her body. No apologies, and no resolution; uncaring and unkind. His bad attitude unbelievable.
I stepped in and tried to remedy the situation as the older "Karen" that I am and talked to a wonderful woman who was apologetic and kind. Every person on their team should be like her. But there was nothing she could do until the product came back in stock.
We'll see how long it takes to actually get the grazing muzzle to us, but I'm thinking it will still be many more weeks and many more phone calls.
State line, if you are reading this, please help these folks working from home in your customer service to to be more accommodating and kind. Is there a standard even in place? What you have put us through trying to get a simple grazing muzzle is frankly, ridiculous.

I called to order 12 country vet insecticide spray cans. Completed order, than read my email confirmation, only to find they had ordered 24 cans. Called and cancelled order but the young lady did not get this done, so order shipped4 days later. Called again, they said could not refunded money till I received order and requested a shipping label. 3 more days went by and my bank account had been charged $267.00 for these cases which had been called. I finally called again and did get someone to follow through, maybe because I threatened to call state attorneys office. I still do not have a credit for this cancelled order that I request be cancelled on the 23 of July, it is now August 8th. NEVER WILL DO BUSINESS WITH STATE LINE TACK.
I ordered a turnout thinking I was getting an additional 25%off of my purchase not knowing the prices they were showing me already reflected that while I was shopping. Very confusing I thought they were having a sale. They're shipping was steep and the estimated time was quite a ways out. I remembered seeing the same one on Amazon. So I ordered that one. Tried calling state line five minutes later to cancel my order since you can't do it over the internet. Well they close at 6 eastern. It was 615 pacific nw time. They didn't answer and it also said they didn't open until Monday... I ordered it on a Friday. I tried everything writing to them and hoping I could stop the shipment. That didn't happen. In the amount of time it took to get this package I already received my package from Amazon, tried it in my horse... too big, took it to kohls to be sent back at no extra charge and received my refund. Through State line I now have to pay 20 dollars to have this sent back to them and an additional two weeks before I'll see that money back in my account. Do not buy from these people especially with something like a turnout where there's no guarantee it'll fit and you'll more than likely have to try many before you find one that does. Biggest mistake I've made while ordering off of the internet!
