I called to order 12 country vet insecticide spray cans. Completed order, than read my email confirmation, only to find they had ordered 24 cans. Called and cancelled order but the young lady did not get this done, so order shipped4 days later. Called again, they said could not refunded money till I received order and requested a shipping label. 3 more days went by and my bank account had been charged $267.00 for these cases which had been called. I finally called again and did get someone to follow through, maybe because I threatened to call state attorneys office. I still do not have a credit for this cancelled order that I request be cancelled on the 23 of July, it is now August 8th. NEVER WILL DO BUSINESS WITH STATE LINE TACK.
I ordered a turnout thinking I was getting an additional 25%off of my purchase not knowing the prices they were showing me already reflected that while I was shopping. Very confusing I thought they were having a sale. They're shipping was steep and the estimated time was quite a ways out. I remembered seeing the same one on Amazon. So I ordered that one. Tried calling state line five minutes later to cancel my order since you can't do it over the internet. Well they close at 6 eastern. It was 615 pacific nw time. They didn't answer and it also said they didn't open until Monday... I ordered it on a Friday. I tried everything writing to them and hoping I could stop the shipment. That didn't happen. In the amount of time it took to get this package I already received my package from Amazon, tried it in my horse... too big, took it to kohls to be sent back at no extra charge and received my refund. Through State line I now have to pay 20 dollars to have this sent back to them and an additional two weeks before I'll see that money back in my account. Do not buy from these people especially with something like a turnout where there's no guarantee it'll fit and you'll more than likely have to try many before you find one that does. Biggest mistake I've made while ordering off of the internet!
We returned a defective saddle months ago and they will not fund the cost. We have called them many times and the same answer they are working on it.

State Line Tack has a great selection of products with competitive pricing. Shipping is an absolute NIGHTMARE. I bought a new horse and am getting back into riding so I needed to order a ton of stuff. I placed an order thinking the horse will arrive in 12 days so I'll be good. The order was placed on July 11 and had not shipped within a week. I called their customer service and was informed they only pack/ship orders quickly that pay for expedited delivery. So, even though the delivery days of how long it will take to receive your items are posted they do not call out they pack/prioritize all priority shipments. If the web site would have clearly stated we will not even pack your order to ship for two full weeks unless you pay for expedited shipping, I would have done that. Furthermore, she told me there was nothing she could do to help expedite. I just had to wait. It has been 14 days since I placed the order and it still hasn't shipped. I WILL NEVER order from Stateline Tack again. I have since placed orders with Smart Pak, Dover, and Valley Vet. All packages arrived within a couple of days with no expedited anything. In this day and age, you can't have horrible customer service and shipping practices and expect to stay in business.
They sent me the wrong blankets then demanded I send photos of proof. Then called me a liar after sending proof of the blankets and there web site. Completely disgusting.
Ordered a pair of riding boots from them since the zippers broke on my old pair. I paid extra for one day shipping. Never got a confirmation email so finally after a week of still not having the boots, I called. They couldn't tell me anything since I didn't have an order number. I emailed. They emailed back the next day saying my order hadn't shipped or processed yet (money had already been taken from my account) so I asked if I could cancel the order since I needed them soon as there's no tack stores in my area. They said there were no guarantees but they would send a cancellation request. A week later, I get an automated email saying they didn't even carry the boots anymore and that I would be refunded the price of the boots. Another week later, the sales representative emailed me again saying the order was successfully canceled. Well, I guess so if the store never had them in the first place!
Save yourself some sanity and order from somewhere else. I placed an order for the same boots on Dover yesterday and got an email this morning that they had shipped.
Some of the things I ordered were very poor quality upon receiving. You'll be charged $9.99 to ship it back so keep that in mind and order from Amazon.
Have been waiting for an item for two months. I guess it's time to complain to the DOJ. Buyer beware. This site is now listed as a scam site by the Oregon DOJ
Be wary, these guys play hardball. They advertise items as in stock when they are not. They accept your order and thank you for the order. And then the emails start explaining items will be delayed. One email, two email. Three emails. Items are delayed for months. And then you give up & buy the stuff somewhere else and call them and email them and speak to their customer service representatives and they apologize and they tell you the order has not been put in the queue for processing yet... AND THEY SHIP THAT DAY. And they apologize again and swear they will have the package re-directed. But that is a lie, because that package is coming no matter what I say or do. And I call to make sure it will be okay to refuse delivery and they will then take it back... And the manager says "she does not recommend that because if the item is damaged in transit, I will be responsible for the shipment"... And that is great and all but my last seven shipments were damaged in shipping because they don't use packing and the items just flop around & the get destroyed. My last seven shipments. Like I said, they play hardball. And I am forced to accept the items no matter what and I will be forced to pay to send them back. Do not order from these people. They have all the answers and they play hardball. NO matter what the customer looses.
Had someone hack into my account and use my card to buy a bunch of stuff. It shows it got delivered to me but I never have received it otherwise I would have done a return to sender. This company has now been harassing me. I reported them to BBB 2 times now. I have explained this to them so many times and they can't seem to get that just because the tracking shows it got delivered that it doesn't always make it to the address it's supposed to go to nor do they seem to be able to understand that I live down a private dirt road where we have had numerous packages stolen and misdelivered. As soon as I knew what had happened I deleted all payment methods on my account and change my password. I barely have enough money to pay for my own health issues and all of our animals on our farm let alone to pay for something I never ordered and never received. I would go to some other place to get your tack and supplies. It's not worth having an issue like I'm having now and not get them to understand you never received anything or even orders anything to begin with.
Also their return policy sucks. You always have to pay for return shipping and they don't try to help by getting a label for you and just deducting the shipping cost from it you end up paying triple the amount of what they possibly are paying. An individual ends up paying a lot more than a company has to. There are better places that will pay for return shipping.
Terrible place to order from. They shipped the wrong size, got ahold of customer care they lied said they couldn't do anything without Justin's approval. So unknowingly to them I contacted Justin's! Turns out they were lying to me the whole time. A great lady from Justin's told me all about policy said they couldn't reverse the order with out stateliness approval. So I call them back and call em out on their lives boom got it returned. Now 20 days since order has been returned to Justin's still no refund. I call Justin's again and they tell me stateline never even inquired about a return. They are Terrible. DO NOT YOU STATELINE TACK! THEY LIE SO MUCH THEY CANT KEEP TRACK OF THEIR LIES.
I have made a few orders from State my tack in the past. Never have been very impressed with the prices or how long the shipping takes. They had a sale and I ordered a Tough1 waterproof, turnout, sheet for my miniature horse a few weeks ago. I recently used it for the first time the other day. I placed it on my horse before turn out. I also have a run in that they can go in throughout the day. It rained a little bit that day. When I brought my horses in and remove the new Tough1 sheet he was completely soaked underneath from head to toe. This tells me that the sheet is not properly waterproofed. I contacted Stateline tack and told him about the issue. The representative basically explained to me that I was probably doing something wrong and didn't know how to properly put a sheet on my horse. I have yet to receive another response and I won't hold my breath about them doing something to correct an order and make it right. I will never order with them again. I will also never recommend them to anyone else. A lot of other websites have better pricing faster shipping and better customer service anyway!
1st Order clippers went good! 2nd Order lead ropes went good! 3rd Order Spur straps and they try to charge me again for lead ropes & 2 times for spur straps! Don't use them but 1 time!
Shipping takes forever, orders are sent out wrong, trying to get a refund is extremely time consuming. They do not respond to emails.
I ordered three cat scratchers from State Line Tack. Everything was great until the day of delivery. I first noticed that the box was packaged oddly, as if there was an extra flap taped on the middle section. This was about a 5 foot long box. I undid the "extra flap" and there was an oily stain about 12" x 17" that was obviously citronella oil. I opened up the rest of the box and one scratcher was pretty well covered with the oil, one had a little on it, and the third was fine. It was apparent that someone spilled citronella oil on the box, they sell citronella on their site, and instead of using a new box they covered it up with a flap. Absolutely no pride in their work. This box was saturated with the oil, it wasn't like a little dab of oil that dried up. I wrote to them and they have not responded yet. I didn't want to return this because of the hassle now that it's been opened but I'm also trying to practice all Covid 19 guidelines. I don't see this as an urgent matter so I'm keeping them and putting this in my lesson learned file. This is only my second bad review of a company ever. No excuse for what they did.
I ordered an item that I needed, even willingly added overnight shipping. No where did the website inform me nor was I ever notified by email that they did not have the item or was on backorder. The first call was on the 2nd business day of which I was told that they had it in their warehouse and should be shipped that day or the next. I received an order status update via email saying it was going to arrive after 5 business days, including the weekend was really more than a week since the order was placed. I called again to reiterate that I paid for overnight shipping so why wait another weekend as I had assumed it was a mistake. My second call revealed that they didn't get the shipping wrong, but that they did not have the item in their inventory that contributed to the delay. They were going to ship out on Friday which overnights it to Monday. That puts me more than a week from when I placed the order, when I needed it sooner. I ended up canceling the order and going with a different place that would actually ship it sooner.
I placed an order for a riding helmet during a time when there was free shipping, yet I was still charged for the shipping, and the helmet took several weeks to arrive. I called about the mis-charge, and a gal told me that I would be refunded, and it was sent already sent to their accounting department to be processed, but it never posted on my account. I called again today (a few weeks later), and politely asked about the shipping refund, and the man tried to say that I selected ground shipping, (except I didn't--I specifically used the promo code for the free shipping), so his story was different from the first gal.
The helmet was too small, so I had to return it. It was very expensive for me to return, and they've had it for over a week, and they still haven't posted my refund. IT SEEMS LIKE A SKETCHY BUSINESS, and they are extremely rude, even though I was polite, so I felt really taken aback by how they run their business. Terrible customer service. Will never order from here again.
Their coupon/discount system is a scam! So sad that old standby is so poorly managed that it must resort to these tactics. Buyer beware!
