Ordered supplements. A week later I still did not receive a tracking number nor a confirmation email. Called costumer service. She flat out lied and said that it would be ready to ship by the end of the day. Next day nothing. I can get no response. I will never used this company again.

Still Waiting
November 25, 2020

We ordered several hundred dollars worth of tack room equipment and winter blankets well over a month ago. Weren't told none of it was in stock. Currently we have been given two ship dates after the original one and still don't have our merchandise. I don't feel we were treated with good faith.

ANY ONE BUT...

NEVER-NEVER AGAIN! The customer service was HORRIBLE! The return policy is the worst I've ever dealt with AND they are a "3rd" party dealer! You can find everything you're looking for on different sites CHEAPER and with much faster shipping too!

Don't walk, RUN away from these fools. Literally everything they sell will take 2-3months to reach you. You might receive the item but they will SEND A COLLECTION NOTICE TO YOUR HOUSE TOO.

They will say that your payment didn't go through. If you used paypal it's pretty likely it didn't go through because they take so long to ship anything and they never mark the transaction complete. HORRIBLE MERCHANTS. What else can I say. They employ some 24/7 chat agents who can do literally nothing for you because of their policies. JESSICA IS RUDE AF.

Frustrating experience
October 27, 2020

2nd time I have ordered from attack. We work through a broker since we are in canada. 1st time after 3 weeks and no result, I called. They had held the order because of the address. Not sure why they didn't call.
This time after placing the order online, I called during business hours to confirm the broker was legitimate. Then I got an email splitting the shipment. Doubles the brokerage fees. Decided to live with it. Another email splitting once again. Nothing had shipped so I called and asked that the last split be cancelled as it was only one item. When the 1st two lots were shipped I called again, asked for an invoice and to please make sure the last item was cancelled. Later that evening another email, part 3 was shipped and invoiced five days early. I emailed immediately, 1130 pm my time and called at 6 am the next morning. No response. The staff are pleasant and sound helpful but unfortunately they dont actually DO anything. Never shopping there again

I have ordered from this company in the past and had no complaints. This time I needed horse boots in a hurry and they offered one day shipping for $51.99. I went ahead and set up the order on January 13,2024. Complaint number 1: when I placed the order there was a $59 discount applied on an order of over $300--great, that offset the high shipping charge EXCEPT when the order was confirmed the discount mysteriously disappeared. Complaint number 2: when my order had not even been processed by January 18, I called to see what the hold up was. I was told that it would take one to two WEEKS to process the order and then it would be shipped in one day. I cancelled the order, told the customer service gal, Rachel, I found this unacceptable and went to Amazon where I scored one of the boots used for half price. Poorest customer service and most misleading shipping information ever. This is the last time I order from them.
EDIT: The boots appeared today, January 19. Checking the order status on their website still says "In Process" and no tracking information available. The shipping invoice says they were shipped January 15. A little math shows that based on the next day delivery I paid for, the boots are 3 days late, but based on the disclaimer that can be found on their website, they are right on time. Something to keep in mind if you decide to order from them. Also, apparently the customer service rep I spoke to did not or could not track what had happened to my order beyond what was erroneously reported on my side.

This time they fully lost the order saying the address has nothing in it but numbers yet you could not order the product without a full address. After weeks and weeks waiting (Last year it was months) I called the company after a very wait wait got a sadly rude girl who told me the order is lost. She then snapped at me and began to argue about whether or not she had snapped so. At this point I gave up. They need to refund the money. They are not professional nor reliable. The mare will not have her blanket this winter. Thanks State Line Rip Off Unprofessional Company from YAYhooville!

Shop elsewhere
February 20, 2021

Shop elsewhere in these days of online shopping, many companies are customer oriented. Stateline tack is not one of them. Look everywhere else for your item. Horrible customer service, products are not as advertised online and then when you get them you have to pay to send them back. And you can't send them back till they give you an RA number and they take forever to get you the RA number so you're almost out of time by the time you try to mail. Do yourself a favor look at Dover, SmartPak, chicks saddlery, anywhere else. Don't shop here

Not just during Covid times, SLT tells customers that items are "in stock" when they are not. They operate a little like Amazon insofar as they don't have a lot of things in their warehouses but request them once they receive an order. I went online and saw that a fly sheet I wanted was out of stock. I put myself on the wait list for it, then was told it was back in stock in an email. I called, confirmed it was in stock, then ordered it (along with a few other items) via phone. Then I had several emails that the whole order would ship on X date (which continually got revised). Then several more emails with various items I'd ordered suddenly being unavailable, and finally, when my order shipped, the main item ( the fly sheet) was not included and no date given for its availability. As I say, this has happened before and I will NEVER order from them again.

I got a pair of Justin steel toe boots and within the first 2 days of wearing my boots to work my seams ripped out. I have NEVER had a pair of boots tear at the seam... Especially only 2 days in... Come on now. I have tried to call i have also emailed for the last 2 weeks and i have yet to get any kinda of response. NEVER again will i order from here. Nor will i recommend them! Awful place to order boots from!

Avoid this company
January 30, 2020

I bought an item from State Line Tack in November, and without my approval or knowledge, they put me on auto ship. As soon as I received the notice that they would be shipping me the item again, I requested cancellation the day before it was shipped. However they still shipped it to me anyway. When I called them, they said it I needed to accept the package, and ship it back to them. If I just refused it, they could not give me a refund. So I accepted it, then immediately shipped it back at my expense! That was 3 weeks ago, and they still have not refunded my money. With multiple phone calls to them, they keep telling me they are "behind in processing", and will take more time for the refund. I have gotten tired of this and just put in a dispute with the credit card company, which I should have done 2 weeks ago. This is not like Amazon which refunds you the money as soon as the return package is shipped. Will never do business with State Line Tack again, and will not recommend them.

Very disappointed
October 28, 2020

I ordered two hats ynsleazys for a costume pairs class for two children to ride in at the Halloween show. The order was placed well in advance (week and a half) and I paid for overnight shipping as well. You all waited till two day after they were supposed to arrive to tell me that they are on back order. I personally spoke with Linda, Shelby and Abby on the phone. They all three said it was just sitting in a warehouse. Now it is too late and I will have to completely redo the pairs class theme without the products I ordered. The show starts tomorrow. So very disappointed.

Ordered a hoof boot from them back in January, didn't fit my boy so I called customer service and asked if I can exchange for one size bigger. The lady on the phone told me that I have to return it, they refund me and then I have to re-order. I asked them if they will pay for return shipping and they said no, and that I had to call to get a number from them to refund. It is joe February 25th and I finally got my refund of $87.94. Which is a big rip off since I pay $103.53 for the boots, and then $15 take out... for what?!?!? Not to mention I picked quick shipping and it took more then a week to arrive.

So honestly this company sucks, returns suck, and refund sucks! I'm out more then $68 overall.

Will never order from this company again! Save your money, go to SmartPak or Dover or Amazon.

I purchased a case of pigskin rolls. When my order finally arrived they sent one roll. Called and was assured that they were sorry and would have the correct order right out to me. After two weeks of not hearing anything from them about my delivery I call back only to find out that my order hadn't been pushed through that she would now do that. Today I got the the second shipment after over two weeks of waiting from the last phone call only to find out they did the exact same thing again. I got one single pig skin roll.

Bad customer service!

I bought a girth last week, it was supposed to be 40 inches but after unpacking I measured and it was only 37.5 inches. I send an email requesting a return, they wanted pictures. Ok, I send the pictures today and called to confirm. The customer rep. Talked down to me the whole time the issue was that I needed to send the picture to a different email which no-one told me about. Now they need to contact the manufacturer to get the return authorized etc. so I won't get a return number. NONE of this is on their website, which I brought up along with their regular 30 day return policy and "satisfaction guarantee"... The rep got so mad at me and so painfully entitled and brought up that they are a drop shipper just like amazon (The f*** do I care?). I told her when I need to return something amazon sends me a label no questions asked.
Conclusion: I probably got scammed for 70$, can't ride my horse. Customer service rude as f***, products suck!

First I'd like to start by saying I have never written a review before but I feel that the return policy especially for a product that was incorrectly sized is wrong. I ordered a sheet with a neck cover for my 17 hand draft cross gelding. When I tried the blanket on it fit perfectly but the neck cover was absolutely HUGE. My gelding has a pretty substantial neck being a draft cross and this cover was so huge on him that it literally hung down. There was no way I would have been able to turn him out with this cover. I called and said I was going to need to return because of the poor sizing. State Line Tack needs to look at their return policy because I ended up having to pay nearly half the price of the sheet to return. I will now do all of my ordering from smart pack because of their quality, customer service and return policy.

Restocking fee of a boot made too small at the top for an adult is frankly "bad form." Both pair of my old boots do not have this problem. If it is a manufacturer issue, then let the manufacturer pay the restocking fee of 10%... to have someone walk over and put it back on the shelf. Oh, yes, and re-enter it back into the computer. First and last order from Stateline Tack.

I ordered fly spray and masks to prepare for summer and fly season on May 29,2020.
Order shipped on 6/17/20. Order received on 6/25/20. Package missing 2 fly sprays of the 3 that were ordered. The one in the box had leaked about ¼ of it's contents. I called and spoke to "Anna Mae" on 6/25/20 and told her about missing items and she said I would receive 3 sprays in a week. There is no sign of the items or any info in my account. I have called and emailed customer service several times and am either on hold or get a "canned" email message that they are so busy, but will contact me shortly. I have been on hold this morning for over 30 minutes while I write this message. I have taken this up with PayPal... thank goodness I used them to pay for this order. I will never use this company again in the future.

Unbelievably bad

I had received a gift card from my husband for Mother's Day for $50 for Stateline Tack. I've ordered from them for over the past 20 years with no issues.
I have yet to receive two different saddle pads that were ordered shortly after I received my gift card. 2 months now. Not only does my order not show in my account, I cannot reach anyone to find out where they are.
I received another order recently (doesn't show in my account either) and the box was mutilated and inside was a mess with a jar of Swat broken and pink goo all over the order inside. Super angry!

I have several times ordered items that the website says available estimated deliver approx 5 days later only to have my account charged and an email saying estimated delivery 45 days later. I was told on a previous order that will only hold a back order 30 days and then they cancel your order. When I called they said it is a Hold not charge. I know the difference between a charge and a hold. This was charged and funds taken from my account. They are kiting your money. I will NEVER do business with them.
